Skyfall, the latest in the Bond franchise, killed it at the US box office on opening weekend, it's $88.4-million haul more than doubling the second-highest-grossing film. Mostly sticking to the best of British, the film's protagonists spend a lot of time with a Jaguar XJ, a Range Rover Sport (with a lot of Evoques in the background) and a Land Rover Defender. A Mercedes-Benz S-Class gets some love in Shanghai and the opening action scene in Turkey goes all out on some Honda CF250Rs.

With 007's Skyfall hitting theaters this weekend, we couldn't help but reflect on our favorite Bond cars throughout history. Of course there's the classic DB5, which is set to make yet another appearance in the series' latest installment. But, for us, no movie car can outdo the submarining white Lotus Esprit featured in 1977's The Spy Who Loved Me.

Compared to his variety in cars, James Bond doesn't often throw a leg over a motorcycle. Yet this year's Skyfall, due in October, will mark the second time in as many movies that Bond has tangled with the bad guys on two wheels. This time, though, EON Productions has partnered with Honda so everyone is on Honda CRF250R motorcycles made to look like local Turkish bikes. They were used for the action scenes and by the stunt crews, while the CRF450R was used for camera crews.

Ben Collins is staying busy. The former Stig has once again returned to stunt driving, this time for the upcoming James Bond film Skyfall. According to The Mirror, Collins has been spotted filming in Istanbul, where he took the wheel to ram a Land Rover into an Audi during a crash scene.
