With gas prices still leaving people numb, the Dodge Ram R/T probably won't get the reception Chrysler wants - but that doesn't mean the automaker won't give it some good car show loving: Mopar is bringing a 'roided up version of the truck to this year's SEMA Show in Las Vegas. The blue bruiser gets the 5.7-liter HEMI with 390 horsepower, good for enough giddy up to shoot to the truck to 60 mph in under six seconds. The body gets more of the Mr. Olympia treatment: a bulging hood with dual intakes over a deep air dam, a bed cover with a spoiler, a lowered suspension over 22-inch wheels for that "Don't mess!" aggression, and obligatory racing stripes. We like the sound of all that. Come November 4, let the posedown begin.

The Aquabats, whose members hail from "the distant island of Aquabania," is a SoCal band that has recently turned its talents to television. Having recently filmed a pilot, the band is unloading the RV to help pay for costs. The 1975 Winnebago -- looking like a lately resurrected extra from the original Batman series -- has been extensively modified for modern-day superhero duty.

Mods: a third axle was installed "to support this battle ready vehicle for turbo speeds and the use of rocket thrusters." A glass, rooftop dome allows 360-degree visibility of bad guys. The split door hatch on the driver's side is for "motorcycles or personal hovercraft." And the giant AquaSpoiler keeps the battle tank on the ground when it's doing rocket-propelled speeds. Step aside, KITT. It can all be yours for $10,000. But as the ad states, "disco ball and .60-caliber ammunition not included." Neither, we assume, is rocket fuel. Thanks for the tip, Joseph!

CES: Scion TC by PioneerPioneer electronics rolled out two custom cars as platforms to show off their latest mobile electronics.

Keith Losier and his team of plasma-torch-wielding Canadians converted an 2006 Pontiac Solstice to a neon green hardtop street racer with a 500 hp supercharged powerplant, 20s on the front, 22s on the back, and a completely reworked plush interior. And, of course, it's packed with Pioneer gadgets. A 6-disc DVD changer feeds numerous monitors, while Pioneer's Premier amps overcome the wind noise from all those body mods (and, we assume, the road noise from those 22s).

The 2005 tC was custom-built by Sixth Avenue Electronics using 19-inch wheels, and, in the tC's trunk, you'll find two 10-inch subs visible through the car's rear window connected to four PRS amps cranking out a heart-stopping 4,000 watts of power.
