24Kia teases all-new Carens, will debut in Paris

Kia is pretty smart. During these dog days of summer when the news is about as exciting as watching your grass turn brown, the Korean automaker has been tossing out information about upcoming models in fairly rapid succession. First there was the Quoris announcement, then the next-gen Forte, and now these teaser images of the Carens crossover.

32Kia recalls 145K Rondo, Optima models over airbag issues

Kia has announced that it is recalling 145,000 vehicles to address faulty airbags. A total of 95,569 Optima sedans built between 2006 and 2008 and 50,186 Rondo MPVs built between 2007 and 2008 are included in the recall.

The Autoblog staff was surprisingly impressed with the Kia Ronda that officially debuted at the 2006 LA Auto Show last week. 8Kia's redesigned Carens MPV coming to U.S.

Kia sells a compact MPV in markets abroad by the name of Carens and its due for a redesign. The Korean company has released a sketch of the reskin and announced that its world premier will be at the Spanish Motor show on May 25. The new MPV follows the familiar trend of being longer, wider and taller than the vehicle it replaces, which will suit our North American market just fine when it arrives under the moniker of “Rondo” sometime in the near future.
