The good people over at Edmunds Inside Line maintain a fleet of test vehicles for their flogging pleasure. And they've just released the latest fuel economy numbers from their real-world tests. The fall-out of yesterday's Toyota Prius unintended acceleration incident in California – a car got up to speeds of over 90 miles per hour in a 20-minute event – now includes an investigation by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Amid all of its other problems recently, Toyota is trying to figure out what, exactly, is wrong with the brakes on the Prius.
