Editor Chris Paukert has apparently been bitten by the podcasting bug, and he once again joins Shunk and Roth for Episode #156 of the Autoblog Podcast. We dive right in to reminiscence about the recently finished <a href="http:// http://www.autoblog.com/2009/12/04/2009-la-auto-show-wrap-up/">Los Angeles Auto Show</a>. Moving on from there, we talk about Audi's <a href="http:// http://www.autoblog.com/2009/12/07/audi-a7-confirmed-for-north-america-and-s8-model-in-the-works-b/">new A7 Sportback</a> and its extreme gorgeousness, as well as the new A8 and all its massive awesomeness. Speaking of awesomeness, Shunk thinks that the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/12/06/aston-martin-rapide-to-cost-199-950-in-the-us/">$199,950 Aston Martin Rapide</a> is one very attractive four-place supercar. Going to the other end of the spectrum, rumors about <a href="http:// http://www.autoblog.com/2009/12/05/report-vw-confirms-jetta-name-for-small-sedan-upcoming-coupe-c/">Volkswagen's upcoming Jetta replacement</a> gets some head scratches from us before we moved on to prognosticating about a <a href="http:// http://www.autoblog.com/2009/12/07/report-chrysler-considering-unibody-dakota-replacement/">unibody Dodge Dakota replacement</a>. We wrap up a chewy hour-and-forty-five minutes by addressing some of your questions and calling it a night.<br />

With the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/category/la-auto-show/">LA Auto Show</a> near at hand, Chris, Dan, and Editor Extraordinaire Paukert sat down and talked over some of the latest for Episode #155 of the Autoblog Podcast. First up is the surprisingly thorough <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/30/2011-ford-mustang-v6-la-2009-preview/">re-rework of the Mustang</a>, before we move on to talk about the early release of U.S.-spec <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/30/2011-ford-fiesta-gets-another-early-reveal/">Ford Fiesta pictures</a>. Gazing at photos brings us to the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/29/la-preview-2011-chevy-cruze-finally-unveiled-in-u-s-market-tri/ ">Chevrolet Cruze</a>, which has also been lensed in North American garb. The Chinese-market <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/30/new-buick-excelle-debuts-in-china-sedan-coming-to-america-soon/">Buick Excelle</a> is rumored as a possibility for our market, and we scratch our heads about that for a while. <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/30/report-toyota-dealers-caught-out-by-pedal-entrapment-recall/">Toyota's handling of its gas pedal recall</a> and <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/30/nissan-to-offer-low-price-nav-system-for-high-volume-products/">Nissan's low-priced and well-integrated navigation unit</a> wraps it up before we move on to some of your questions. Right before signing off, we jump back to talk briefly about the newly unveiled Audi A8 and Saab's sad fortunes. At one hour, 50 minutes, it's an epic. We blame Paukert. <br />

Episode #154 of the Autoblog Podcast is here for your tryptophan-addled pleasure. Chris, Sam, and Dan kick it, starting with the <a href="http:// http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/23/bmw-5-series-2011-sedan-unveiled/">BMW 5 Series</a>, then move on to such appetite supressants as the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/23/lexus-announces-pricing-for-2010-gx460-will-begin-at-51-970/">Lexus GX</a>, <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/20/acura-zdx-to-start-at-45-495/">Acura ZDX and its pricing</a>, and Infiniti's <a href="http:// http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/23/redesigned-2010-infiniti-g-and-2011-qx-joining-m-in-la/">re-style of the massive QX56 rig</a>. Before we become an emetic, we move on to the pretty new Infiniti M, the ongoing anticipation for a <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/21/report-chevrolet-spark-still-under-consideration-for-u-s/">US-bound Chevrolet Spark</a>, and <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/23/hyundais-new-2-4l-gdi-four-cylinder-hits-up-to-200hp-in-sonata/">Hyundai's new 2.4 liter direct-injection 4 cylinder</a> for the next Sonata. We hit some questions, and wrap it up in time for pie.<br />

Long-serving automotive journalist Phil Berg joins regulars Chris, Sam, and Dan to chew over some recent items. Starting us off, the car we all want in our driveways, the <a href="http:// http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/16/report-c-d-says-lutz-confirms-cadillac-cts-v-sport-wagon/">Cadillac CTS-V Sportwagon</a> continues to be grist for the rumormill. Staying with GM, we move on to the <a href="http:// http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/13/2011-buick-regal-revealed-at-the-hollywood-palladium/">debut of the Buick Regal </a>and its potential use of <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/16/report-lutz-says-next-chevy-impala-to-stay-front-drive-gain-hy/">GM's latest mild hybrid system</a>. We next hit up the coming Impala, which will not be a version of the stillborn Pontiac G8, before we comment briefly about<a href="http:// http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/16/gm-loses-1-2b-last-quarter-ready-to-start-repaying-loans/"> third quarter reports and the fervor surrounding GM's financials</a>. The final two items before we hit questions are the <a href="http:// http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/16/report-bmw-x3-u-s-launch-delayed-by-up-to-6-months-for-custom/">delay of BMW's new X3</a>, and a possible <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/16/report-toyota-prius-wagon-suv-in-the-works/ ">wagon or SUV version of the Toyota Prius</a>. <br />

The usual suspects of Chris, Sam, and Dan are joined this week by Autoblog Editor Extraordinaire Chris Paukert. It's a packed 'cast, starting with the apparent <a href="http:// http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/09/breaking-i-detroit-news-i-says-gm-will-build-cadillac-converj/">go-ahead of the Cadillac Converj</a>. The <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/04/breaking-dodge-to-end-viper-production-in-july-10-new-car-in/">future of the Dodge Viper</a> figures in to a few minutes of debate, as does Chrysler's marathon presentation about the company's plans going forward. Moving from Chrysler to the company's former overlords at Daimler, we talk about <a href="http:// http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/09/2011-mercedes-benz-sls-amg-first-drive/">Mr. Paukert's Wild Ride in the AMG SLS</a>, and take a complete left turn into <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/09/report-mullaly-says-global-ranger-and-ka-wont-be-offered-in-fo/">Ford Ranger land and talk about the one we won't be getting</a>. <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/06/report-toyota-execs-deny-cover-up-after-feds-rebuke-automaker-o/">Toyota's floor mat/throttle controversy</a> finishes up the topics before we take a couple questions and call it a night. A good, solid hour and a half for your enjoyment. <br />

Abuelsamid, Lieberman, Roth and Shunk. Sounds like a law firm, but it's this week's podcast crew. <em>Car and Driver</em> editor-in-chief Eddie Alterman bravely wades into the pool and joins us for Episode #151 of the Autoblog Podcast, as well. <br />
<br />
We spend a goodly amount of time going over what's in all five garages this week, before picking up actual topics. Once into news, we move through the Honda Accord Crosstour's pricing and impending launch, <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/02/ford-posts-1-billion-in-profit-surprisingly-good-third-quarter/">Ford's profitable quarter</a> and <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/02/new-contract-between-ford-and-uaw-voted-down-over-weekend/">union dealings</a>, <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/10/30/empire-strikes-back-white-house-calls-out-edmunds-on-clunkers-s/">Edmunds' dust-up with the White House</a>, and wrap with what might be cool at the crazy automotive cavalcade that is <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/category/sema/">SEMA</a>. It's an hour and twenty minutes of rollicking good times, so let us know what you think by dropping us an email at <strong>Podcast at Autoblog dot com</strong>, reviewing the show in iTunes, filling out our <a href="http://www.podtrac.com/audience/start-survey.aspx?pubid=JRJrA-gkKy4$&amp;amp;ver=standard">survey</a>, or even leaving us a voicemail on our Google Voice line <strong>734-288-8POD (734-288-8763)</strong>. It's Episode #150 of the Autoblog Podcast, and we raided the crypt to give you your buck-and-a-half's worth. Former podcast staples John Neff and Chris Paukert have been unearthed and join Chris Shunk, Sam Abuelsamid, and Dan Roth for this milestone occasion. <br />
<br />
A review of the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/category/tokyo-motor-show/">Tokyo Motor Show</a> starts things off, and then we drill down to talk more specifically about both ends of Toyota's sports spectrum: the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/10/26/2011-lexus-lfa-first-drive/">Lexus LFA</a> and the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/10/26/toyota-celica-or-scion-tc-toyota-reportedly-deliberates-over-pr/">Toyota FT-86</a> concepts. Other Tokyo standouts like the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/10/25/honda-design-boss-discusses-changes-to-production-cr-z/">Honda CR-Z</a> and <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/10/21/subaru-hybrid-tourer-concept-tokyo-2009-fuji-heavy/">Subaru Hybrid Tourer concept</a> weave into the conversation before we turn to the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/10/26/report-honda-goes-back-to-drawing-board-for-smaller-lighter-ne/">next-generation Honda Civic,</a> rumored to be lighter and smaller. From there, things devolve entirely before this week's big crew wraps it up. <br />
<br />
We'll hit your questions again next time around, keep them rolling in to <strong>Podcast at Autoblog dot com</strong>. Before our faithful listenership starts getting worried, we put the Podcast on a break this week. We're doing our show-coverage thing in <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/category/tokyo-motor-show/">Tokyo</a> and we're also staring down episode #150 of the 'cast. Rather than grind out something mediocre, we've elected to take a little extra time and mark the halfway point to our second hundredth episode with a good show. In the meantime, we hope our friends at <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/category/podcasts/">Joystiq</a> and <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/podcasts/">Engadget</a> can help fill the void. We'll be back soon, or you can drop us a note at<span style="font-weight: bold;"> <strong>Podcast at Autoblog dot com.</strong></span> Or leave us a message at our new google voice number<strong> 734-288-8POD (734-288-8763)</strong>.<br />

<br />
Episode #149 of the Autoblog Podcast, the first frost edition, has arrived. The <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/category/tokyo-motor-show/">Tokyo Motor Show</a> is coming up, and there have been a couple previews of what to expect there. The <a href="http:// http://www.autoblog.com/2009/10/06/toyko-2009-preview-toyota-ft-86-concept-brings-back-the-hachiro/">Toyota FT-86</a> concept has had everyone abuzz with its heralding as the spiritual successor of the much-beloved AE86 of the 1980s. Also building excitement for Tokyo is <a href="http:// http://www.autoblog.com/2009/10/12/subaru-releases-more-pics-of-hybrid-tourer-concept/">Subaru's Hybrid Tourer</a> concept. Moving on from Asia, we touch on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/10/12/rumormill-lancia-delta-coming-to-america-with-a-chrysler-badge/">Lancias being rebadged as Chryslers</a> before wrapping up with <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/10/12/report-chrysler-fiat-partnering-on-electric-car/ ">Chrysler and Fiat's collaboration on an electric car</a>. Very last, we hit up some questions before calling it a night and going to sleep off our ailments. Keep the feedback rolling in to <strong>Podcast at Autoblog dot com</strong>, thanks for filling our <a href="http://www.podtrac.com/audience/start-survey.aspx?pubid=JRJrA-gkKy4$&amp;amp;ver=standard">survey</a> with data, and we'll see you soon for #150! Remember, if you get lonely, there's always <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/category/podcasts/">Joystiq</a> and <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/podcasts/">Engadget</a>. Episode #147 of the Autoblog Podcast is ready for your consumption. Chris calls in to Sam and Dan, and the trio bites into a few timely topics. <a href="http:// http://www.autoblog.com/2009/09/28/report-bmw-m5-dropping-v10-for-turbo-v8/">BMW's move to put its turbo 4.4 liter V8 into the M5</a> is our first subject of conversation, before moving on to more powertrain news with the rumors that <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/09/27/report-2011-hyundai-sonata-wont-offer-a-v6/">the 2011 Hyundai Sonata will be a four-cylinder-only affair</a>. <a href="http:// http://www.autoblog.com/2009/09/25/audi-a3-1-6-tdi-shines-during-opening-stages-of-efficiency-chall/">Audi's fuel mileage achievement with its A3 TDI</a> is up next, before we go all power crazy and touch on <a href="http:// http://www.autoblog.com/2009/09/25/new-images-of-rhys-millens-mid-engine-v8-rm460-genesis-coupe/">Rhys Millen's mid-engined Genesis Coupe</a>. Wrapping it up, we head to truckville, thinking about what it would mean for <a href="http:// http://www.autoblog.com/2009/09/24/report-chrysler-to-make-ram-its-own-brand/">Chrysler to make Ram its own nameplate</a>, ponder the <a href="http:// http://www.autoblog.com/2009/09/24/2010-toyota-4runner-debuts-with-four-cylinder-trail-grade-model/">new Toyota 4Runner</a>, and finally chat about the new Ford SuperDuty before moving on to some of your excellent questions. <br />

Episode #146 of the Autoblog Podcast puts Chris, Sam, and Dan in fast company, talking to Corvette racer Johnny O'Connell. Johnny's heading out to run the Petit LeMans, but he took some time to chat with us first. Once the crew settles down about apexes and back straights, we head off into a couple of topical discussions. <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/09/20/video-drew-barrymore-takes-jay-lenos-green-car-challenge/">Jay Leno's two-lap challenge</a> starts us off, and <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/09/18/video-four-new-gm-commercials-airing-this-weekend-check-em-ou/">GM's new "May the Best Car Win" ads</a> get our attention next, and then we move on to <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/09/20/report-nissan-gt-r-class-action-suit-over-transmission-failures/">Nissan's settling of the class-action lawsuit over GT-R transmissions</a>. Some questions finish us off near the hour and a half mark. Episode #145 of the Autoblog Podcast is a mostly-<a href="http://www.autoblog.com/category/frankfurt-auto-show/">Frankfurt Motor Show</a> edition. Chris, Sam and Dan are joined by Mark Kaufman, Ford's C-segment marketing manager, and Blue-Oval product communications manager Mark Schirmer. The two Marks join us to talk about what Ford's got up its sleeve for Frankfurt and beyond. The C1 Focus is finally making the transatlantic journey, and we're getting the flexible and efficient <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/09/15/ford-grand-c-max-coming-to-north-america-in-late-2011/">Grand C-Max</a>, as well. Talk turns all <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/09/15/embargo-9-15-09-5am-edt-frankfurt-2009-ford-unveils-the-1-6-li/">EcoBoosty</a> and <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/09/15/embargo-9-15-09-5am-edt-ford-to-eventually-have-10-models-on-ne/">future-plannish</a> before the crew moves on to the sights at Frankfurt. <br />
<br />
The <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/09/14/frankfurt-2009-volkswagen-l1-concept-the-most-fuel-efficient/">Volkswagen L1 concept</a> sets us off on the environmentally conscious aspects of the show, which we quickly abandoned in favor of such awesomeness as the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/09/14/officially-official-audi-r8-5-2-fsi-spyder-blade-gains-lots-of/">Audi R8 Spyder</a>, roofless Lamborghini Reventon, and the slick <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/09/14/frankfurt-2009-audi-s5-sportback-unveiled-no-you-cant-have-t/">Audi S5 Sportback</a>. Taking a left turn down Odd Street, we test our intestinal fortitude with the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/09/14/bugatti-galibier-leaks-out-after-private-unveiling-in-molsheim/">Bugatti Galibier</a>, <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/09/14/frankfurt-preview-peugeot-mixes-car-with-scooter-to-create-the/">Peugeot BB1</a> and <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/09/14/frankfurt-preview-citroen-revolte-leaks-out-ahead-of-debut/">Citroen's Revolte</a>. Questions wrap it up, and again, it clocks in with extra value past the hour and a half mark. <br />

<br /> <br /> Racer, skydiver, magazine editor, and <a href="http://www.roadandtravel.com/celebrities/denisemccluggage_autohall.htm">Automotive Hall of Fame inductee</a> but a smattering of accomplishments that Denise McCluggage has racked up during her tenure as one of the car-craziest people on the planet. For Episode #143 of the Autoblog Podcast, Denise takes time to join Chris, Sam and Dan to talk about current automotive news and answer some of your questions. We start off what turns out to be a record-length podcast with the news of a <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/08/31/report-toyota-accused-of-ruthless-conspiracy-to-conceal-dest/">lawsuit against Toyota</a> by one of its former lawyers, and move on to talk about the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/08/31/photoshopped-2011-hyundai-sonata-shows-up-in-dealer-as-2010/">Hyundai Sonata Photochop</a> that turned up in a dealer's ad showing a close approximation of the 2011 car. We wrap up by waving the diesel flag and talking about <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/08/31/beware-the-scorpion-2011-ford-super-duty-gets-all-new-6-7-liter/">Ford's new Scorpion engine</a> before taking a couple of questions and calling it a night just shy of the two-hour mark. <br /> <br /> Hit us up at <strong>Podcast at Autoblog dot com</strong> with questions, comments and feedback, check out the <a href="http://www.podtrac.com/audience/start-survey.aspx?pubid=JRJrA-gkKy4$&amp;ver=standard">survey</a> we've been relentlessly asking you to fill out, and thanks for the new reviews in iTunes - we even went popular! <br /> Episode #142 of the Autoblog Podcast is here, this week with the (not very) dynamic duo of Chris and Dan carrying the baton while seemingly the rest of the world is on vacation. We're certainly in the lull before auto show season swings into full effect, but there are still a few things to talk about. <a href="http://%20http//www.autoblog.com/2009/08/24/2010-vw-golf-tdi-starts-at-21-990-rated-29-40-mpg-or-maybe-3/">Pricing of the VW Golf TDI</a> starts us off before moving on to cover the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/08/25/report-lexus-hs-250h-in-short-supply-u-s-launch-affected/">reportedly tight supply of Lexus HS250h hybrids</a>, which may affect the car's U.S. launch. More excitingly, the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/08/24/report-lexus-hatch-coming-to-u-s-in-2012/">possibility of a Lexus hatch</a> is pondered before moving on from Toyota's fancy division. <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/08/18/autoblog-podcast-141/">Last week</a>, the podcast touched on the Spyker Aileron, and this week we went after the<a href="http://%20http//www.autoblog.com/2009/08/24/spy-shots-spyker-d8-peking-to-paris-ssuv-ready-for-production-d/"> D8 Peking-to-Paris model</a> in all its resplendent over-the-topness. Speaking of dramatic cars, we wrap up with the news that there may be <a href="http://%20http//www.autoblog.com/2009/08/24/vws-winterkorn-proposes-a-trio-of-new-porsches/">three new Porsche models</a> in the works to diversify that maker's line and increase volume. We fish through your questions before calling it a night a bit past the hour mark. <br /><br />A hearty "thank you" goes out to our listeners for all of your great reviews - your efforts got us featured on iTunes this week, and we appreciate it. Wrap it all up nice and tidy with some of your questions, and 82 minutes later, you're done. We apologize for the poor audio quality on Dan's track for some of this week's podcast. It only lasts through the end of the Autoblog Garage segment, and then we're back to full-fidelity. Getting a show out to you quickly was important to us, so we went with what we had. 23 minutes in is the magic point where the audio clears up. <br />What better way to kick off the weekend than Episode #136 of the Autoblog Podcast? Okay, so it's a thin excuse for delivering this edition late, but here it is. Chris, Sam and Dan congregate and discuss a few issues, starting with the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/07/13/breaking-early-camaro-ss-manual-transmission-failures-reported/">manual transmission issues afflicting some Chevrolet Camaros</a>. Sticking with General Motors, we cover <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/07/11/lutz-pontiac-g8-to-continue-as-chevy-caprice-in-u-s-z28-likel/">Bob Lutz's comments</a> on the Z28, the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/07/13/lutz-confirms-cadillac-cts-v-coupe-is-coming-sport-wagon-dou/">CTS-V Coupe</a>, and the possible transmogrification of the<a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/07/16/from-the-horses-mouth-lutz-says-pontiac-g8-wont-spawn-chevrol/"> Pontiac G8 into the Chevrolet Caprice (not gonna happen)</a>. The GM talk wraps up with a mulling of the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/07/12/fun-while-it-lasted-porsche-panamera-turbo-reportedly-tops-cadi/">Porsche Panamera's showing on the Nurburgring</a>, besting the CTS-V's time. After plenty of time on GM, we move across town to Ford and kick around the idea of a <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/07/12/report-next-gen-taurus-likely-to-move-to-common-platform-with-f/">Fusion-based Taurus</a> before leaving the country entirely and discussing <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/07/10/cash-for-clunkers-trade-ins-account-for-7-percent-of-hyundai-sal/">Hyundai's Cash for Clunkers pre-emptive strike</a>. Your questions and comments wrap it all up, and as usual, keep those rolling in to <strong>Podcast at Autoblog dot com</strong>, and <a href="http://www.podtrac.com/audience/start-survey.aspx?pubid=JRJrA-gkKy4$&amp;ver=standard">hit the survey</a>, if you haven't already. <br />Episode #135 of the Autoblog Podcast is here. Chris, Sam and Dan took time out to chat about <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/07/06/breaking-bankruptcy-judge-oks-sale-of-good-assets-to-new-gm/">GM's fast-moving reorganization</a>, <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/07/06/smarts-99-month-cash-for-clunkers-deal-has-a-big-dirty-secr/">Smart's dubious $99/month deal</a>, <a href="http://www.autobloggreen.com/2009/07/06/wsj-higher-gas-taxes-much-better-than-cafe-to-save-gm/">raising gas taxes</a> as a better way to increase fuel economy, and Shunk's new car dilemma. To wrap up, we hit a question, and that's it - a nice, tidy 65-minute affair. Tell us how we're doing by <a href="http://www.podtrac.com/audience/start-survey.aspx?pubid=JRJrA-gkKy4$&amp;ver=standard">filling out our survey</a>, if you haven't already, and we'll see you next week. <br />Just in time for the July 4th holiday roadtrip, it's Episode #134 of the Autoblog Podcast! We've had a couple delays this week getting together to chat about recent events, but hopefully we're hitting your media player before you depart for this weekend's festivities. <br /><br />Once seated around our digital roundtable, Chris, Sam, and Dan take a quick spin through <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/07/01/by-the-numbers-june-2009-bankruptcy-a-bad-idea-edition/">June's sales numbers</a>, and specifically, the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/07/01/breaking-chevrolet-camaro-outsells-ford-mustang/">Camaro's Mustang-topping numbers</a>, official <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/07/01/leaked-high-res-shots-of-bmws-2010-x1-hit-the-information-supe/">BMW X1 imagery</a>, the demise of diesel programs, <em>Consumer Reports</em>' <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/06/30/i-consumer-reports-i-lambasts-honda-insight-ranks-it-21-out/">Honda Insight displeasure,</a> <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/06/30/report-bmw-threatening-to-oust-lexus-as-1-luxury-automaker-in/">BMW's challenge to Lexus as America's #1 luxury brand</a>, and then we hit up your questions for the rest of the show. Thanks for listening, we appreciate your efforts to keep communication rolling in to <strong>Podcast at autoblog dot com</strong>, as well as all the responses to <a href="http://www.podtrac.com/audience/start-survey.aspx?pubid=JRJrA-gkKy4$&amp;ver=standard">our survey</a>, which you can still fill out to add your data in our quest for 'cast sponsorship.<p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/07/03/autoblog-podcast-134/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Autoblog Podcast #134</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/07/03/autoblog-podcast-134/">Autoblog Podcast #134</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Fri, 03 Jul 2009 11:15:00 EST. <br /><br />The dynamic duo of Chris and Sam carry off Episode #133 of the Autoblog Podcast without a hitch. Though down a man, the pair didn't cheap out on topics or duration, it's the same podcast goodness. It kicks off with Hyundai's impressive showing in the recently released <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/06/22/lexus-leads-hyundai-improves-while-infiniti-drops-in-j-d-powe/">Initial Quality Survey results</a>. From there, they hit <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/06/22/report-chrysler-pondering-whether-sebring-avenger-replacements/">Chrysler's RWD/FWD dilemma</a> with its Sebring/Avenger replacement, the rumor that <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/06/22/report-s197-ford-mustang-could-have-had-independent-rear-suspen/">Mustangs could have had IRS</a> for $100 per car, and reports of an <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/06/22/four-play-gm-confirms-2010-buick-lacrosse-will-be-available-wit/">Ecotec engine for the Buick LaCrosse</a>. Keeping it on the Buick tip, spyshots of a <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/06/22/spy-shots-buick-getting-its-own-cruze-variant/">Tri-Shield variant of the new 2010 Astra</a> get mentioned. The<a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/06/22/report-bankruptcy-allows-gm-chrysler-to-shed-hundreds-of-produ/"> nullification of all pre-bankruptcy liability claims</a> against GM and Chrysler is next before talk settles briefly on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/06/22/connecting-the-dots-hyundais-2011-product-plans/">Hyundai's 2010-on lineup</a> and then turns to your questions. It almost seems like the Chris and Sam show is a juggernaut without that <em>other</em> guy. <br /><br />Episode #131 of the Autoblog Podcast is here. Chris, Sam, and Dan sat down and kicked the ball around. The most important news when we rolled our recorders was the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/06/08/breaking-supreme-court-stays-sales-of-chrysler-to-fiat/">Supreme Court's staying of Chrysler's deal with Fiat</a>. Staying with Fiat, we also kibbitzed about the nameplate's <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/06/08/ruh-roh-chrysler-fiat-finishes-dead-last-in-new-british-j-d-p/">showing in a new J.D. Power satisfaction study.</a> <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/06/08/ferrari-ceo-outlines-green-plan-hybrid-concept-could-debut-at-l/">Ferrari's green efforts</a> are next in our bombsights before we touch on GM's <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/06/08/gm-stops-trying-to-sell-medium-duty-truck-line-will-cease-produ/">winding down of its medium-duty trucks</a> and the call from some politicos to <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/06/08/far-right-wing-reportedly-ready-to-boycott-a-newly-federalized-g/">boycott General Motors</a>. Wrapping up, we cover a few questions and call it a night.
