<div align="center"><strong><em>Click above for high-res gallery of the Ford concept pickups from SEMA</em></strong><br /></div>
</small> <br />We managed to track down most of the Ford concept pickups on our last day at SEMA. Hidden across the street, right in the front of the outdoor lot, just under the huge "Built Ford Tough" sign, there they were. We saw the Performance West <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/09/30/sema-preview-performance-west-goes-smaller-with-f-150-striker-r/">Striker R F-150</a> and it's bigger brother <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/09/20/sema-preview-performance-west-group-ford-f-350-striker/">Striker F-350</a>, as well as the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/30/sema-preview-ford-bringing-four-f-150s-to-sin-city/">Street Scene Equipment Lariat</a> that sort of reminded us of a certain bike-branded Ford truck. The F-150 Striker was reminiscent us of the Saleen S331 we sampled last year, and the F-350 was much the same only, uh, more so. We even came across an older Performance West version of the Striker sitting on the main sidewalk in front of the central hall.<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/sema-2008-ford-pickup-concepts/low/">SEMA 2008: Ford pickup concepts</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/sema-2008-ford-pickup-concepts/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/fordsematrucks---01_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/sema-2008-ford-pickup-concepts/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/fordsematrucks---02_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/sema-2008-ford-pickup-concepts/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/fordsematrucks---03_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/sema-2008-ford-pickup-concepts/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/fordsematrucks---04_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/sema-2008-ford-pickup-concepts/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/fordsematrucks---05_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br /><strong>Photos copyright (C)2008 Frank Filipponio/Weblogs, Inc.</strong><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/11/10/sema-2008-ford-pickup-concept-gallery/">SEMA 2008: Ford pickup concept gallery</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Mon, 10 Nov 2008 08:01:00 EST. Performance West Group appears to have bought up the entire surplus and injected it into a Ford F-350 dually in order to create the Striker. Part pickup and part Ford Mustang GT500KR, the Striker will be intimidating other vehicles at this year's SEMA show in Las Vegas.<br /><br />The greatest tuning minds of our generation are assisting PWG with the project. Gale Banks is tuning the PowerStroke V8 engine above its 350 hp and 650 lb-ft. Hulst Customs is fabricating the bodywork. American Lightweight will be providing the aluminum 24" wheels. Katzkin Leather and Sony are doing duty inside to make sure you enjoy what will surely be a monster system in beauteous comfort.<br /><br />PWG will then drape the entire thing in Striker Silver and Badass Blue and then probably let it loose to kill things. The rationalist in us wants to ask "What the...?" The auto junkie in us wants to stick it in the driveway and let it reek of testosterone. And then transform into a Decepticon. Which means we can't wait for SEMA.<br /><br />[Source: <a href="http://www.pickuptrucks.com/html/autoshows/sema2008/ford/performance-west-group-ford-f350-striker-sema-preview.html">PickupTrucks.com</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/09/20/sema-preview-performance-west-group-ford-f-350-striker/">SEMA Preview: Performance West Group Ford F-350 Striker</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Sat, 20 Sep 2008 09:02:00 EST. <p>A performance wagon might sound like a relatively new concept, but this bad boy was tearing up the streets with kids and pets in the back seat long before the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/01/24/pics-aplenty-2008-audi-rs6-avant/">Audi RS6 Avant</a> and <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/01/09/official-pics-of-the-m5-touring">BMW M5 Touring</a> existed. The story goes that a Chicago man with five children purchased a Plymouth Satellite wagon out of necessity, but craved more performance. When the Road Runner 440 Six Pack was introduced, the man called up Mr. Norm's Grand Spaulding Dodge and asked if it was possible to shoehorn the motor into his wagon. They were indeed up to the task, and the GTX 440 Six Pack Wagon was born. </p>
<p>The car eventually found its way to California, where it was converted to a 4-speed and fitted with bucket seats from a GTX. It was ultimately retired and sat in a back yard for nearly a decade, but Larry Weiner of Performance West discovered it and restored it to its former glory. Follow the jump for the full details on the restoration, and check out the gallery of high resolution photos below.</p>

The W.P. Chrysler Executive Series 300C Rodeo Drive Plus 6 by Performance West pulls together the work and merchandise of several vendors to create a six-inch longer 300C for those executives who find the standard choices too boring. Nobody will be able to ignore the chrome spear down the flanks, and if they do just crank up the stereo. Mechanicals are upgraded with a Corsa cat-back exhaust and a Flex Fuel Smart system adds E85 capability to the Hemi. Coil-overs and thicker swaybars tighten up proceedings underneath, and SSBC's upgraded brakes hide behind 22-inch Sporza wheels. Inside, the seats have been retrimmed in custom leather, there's an audio system to rattle your molars and an integrated computer and communications rig, too. Look up, there's a Glassback installation by Classic Design Concepts, look down, you'll find a Hurst shifter sticking purposefully out of the console. It looks like it'd be a whole lot more fun to shuffle papers around in the rear compartment of the Plus 6 than, say, a Maybach. The whole shebang will be available for an as yet unannounced price at dealers.<br /><br />Thanks for the tip, David!<br /><br />[Source: Allpar]<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/300-rodeo-drive-plus-6/low/">300 Rodeo Drive Plus 6</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/300-rodeo-drive-plus-6/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/01/300c-rodeo-drive_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/300-rodeo-drive-plus-6/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/01/300c_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/300-rodeo-drive-plus-6/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/01/e85_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/300-rodeo-drive-plus-6/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/01/hemi_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/300-rodeo-drive-plus-6/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/01/hurst_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/01/07/roll-like-walter-p-300c-rodeo-drive-plus-6-package/">Roll like Walter P: 300C Rodeo Drive Plus 6 package</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Mon, 07 Jan 2008 10:55:00 EST.
