<div align="center"><strong><em><small>Click above for a gallery of the Nissan 370Z S-Tune</small></em></strong><br /></div>
<br />Nissan's <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/tag/370Z/">latest Z-car</a> has <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/12/30/complete-2009-nissan-370z-pricing-revealed-plus-a-new-tagline/">hit the ground running</a> in the U.S. and Nissan may begin stirring the pot to ratchet up excitement another notch. Although we usually have to wait for the extra goodies launched in Japan to make the trek to the States, rumor has it that the factory NISMO S-Tune kit will migrate over the Pacific in short order. In addition to the coupe's already aggressive bodywork, a ground effects kit designed to improve aerodynamics will be part of the package, along with a new set of deep dish, five-spoke aluminum wheels and upgraded suspension and brake kits. A cat-back exhaust system rounds out the bits and pieces. If the rumors hold true, we can expect to see the NISMO S-Tune 370Z kits on dealer shelves sometime in June. <br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/nissan-370z-s-tune">Nissan 370Z S-Tune</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/nissan-370z-s-tune/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/12/nismo370zstune_01_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/nissan-370z-s-tune/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/12/nismo370zstune_02_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/nissan-370z-s-tune/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/12/nismo370zstune_03_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/nissan-370z-s-tune/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/12/nismo370zstune_04_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/nissan-370z-s-tune/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/12/05_nismocomponents_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br />[Source: <a href="http://www.gtchannel.com/content.php?cid=50796">GT Channel</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/01/02/rumormill-nissan-370z-nismo-s-tune-coming-to-the-states-in-june/">Rumormill: Nissan 370Z NISMO S-Tune coming to the States in June</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Fri, 02 Jan 2009 14:58:00 EST. <div align="center"><em><strong><small>Click above for image gallery of Alternity Megatron</small></strong></em><br /></div>
<br /><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/alternity-megatron/1200203/"><img width="200" vspace="4" hspace="4" height="292" border="0" align="right" src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/12/tak10891_small.jpg" alt="" /></a>To go along with the recent addition of <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/09/30/nissan-gt-r-alternity-convoy-transformer-toy-pics/">Alternity Convoy</a>, a version of Optimus Prime in Japan that transforms into a Nissan GT-R, comes another new toy in the same series by TakaraTOMY. What bot would be a better followup to Prime than Megatron? Instead of the classic weapon shape that we've grown accustomed to for the ultimate Transformer baddie, Alternity Megatron's alt-mode is a Nissan 370Z. Here we have a problem, as Megatron's car mode takes a decided back seat to Prime's GT-R. Still, the GT-R and Fairlady Z (what they call the 370Z in Japan) are both made by Nissan and the two leaders are actually brothers in the Transformers universe.<br /><br />No matter, as diehard Transformer fans are sure to overlook the obvious Decepticon snub. What they may not forgive, however, is Megatron dropping his cannon for a pair of swords. <br /><br />Like Alternity Convoy, Megatron is officially licensed from Nissan and die cast in metal. Those wanting to get their hands on the latest Alternity bot can choose from silver or blue. <em>Thanks for the tip, 94 Taurus owner</em>!<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/alternity-megatron">Alternity Megatron</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/alternity-megatron/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/12/tak10890_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/alternity-megatron/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/12/tak10891_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/tomy-gt-r-transformer">Tomy GT-R Transformer</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/tomy-gt-r-transformer/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/09/cce6905e573578305b2fe263b97ecd3b_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/tomy-gt-r-transformer/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/09/silver_gtr_transformed_2_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/tomy-gt-r-transformer/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/09/red_gtr_transformer_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/tomy-gt-r-transformer/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/09/silver_gtr_transformer_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/tomy-gt-r-transformer/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/09/silver_gtr_transformed_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br />[Source: <a href="http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/alternators-10/prototype-photos-of-alternity-megatron-166306/">TFW2005</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/12/03/megatron-hides-from-humans-in-nissan-370z-form/">Megatron hides from humans in Nissan 370Z form</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Wed, 03 Dec 2008 14:57:00 EST. <div align="center"><em><strong><small>Click above for high-res gallery of the 2010 Nissan 370Z</small></strong></em><br /></div>
<br />Looking pretty much like what everyone has been expecting for months now, the 2010 Nissan 370Z dropped this morning. The company hasn't released any details, although from the new nomenclature we can surmise that the sports car contains the new 3.7L V6 as used in the Infiniti G37. The new Z goes on sale early in 2009, and we'll see it live at the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/category/LA-Auto-Show/">LA Auto Show</a> in a few weeks.<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-nissan-370z">2010 Nissan 370Z</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-nissan-370z/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/01_2009_370z_press_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-nissan-370z/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/02_2009_370z_press_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-nissan-370z/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/03_2009_370z_press_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-nissan-370z/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/04_2009_370z_press_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-nissan-370z/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/05_2009_370z_press_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br />[Source: Nissan]<p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/29/officially-official-nissan-drops-370z-ahead-of-la-debut/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Officially Official: Nissan drops 370Z ahead of LA Debut!</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/29/officially-official-nissan-drops-370z-ahead-of-la-debut/">Officially Official: Nissan drops 370Z ahead of LA Debut!</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Wed, 29 Oct 2008 09:41:00 EST. Many of their findings have been previously guessed at based on spy photos of the car, but their viewing seems to prove that it all fits together well enough in person. Unfortunately, they were barred from commenting on the driving experience. The most controversial aspect is still the shortened rear of the car, which IL guesses has gone back to 99 inches. To look at the pictures, there really isn't room for much behind the driver's door but wheel arches and a taillight. Interestingly, IL also suggests that the car will be available with a 7-speed automatic, which brings to three the number of potential non-manual transmissions. The proof, as always, will be in the pudding, and the first serving will come on October 29 when the official photos are released.<br /><br />[Source: <a href="http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/autoshows/losangeles/2008/2009nissan370zdetails.html">Inside Line</a>]</p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/15/inside-line-sees-nissan-370z-in-person-official-photos-coming-o/">Inside Line sees Nissan 370Z in person, official photos coming Oct. 29</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Wed, 15 Oct 2008 12:58:00 EST. Now that that the revival has come and gone, expect the new 370Z to take on a new tack as a harder edged vehicle. In fact, Nissan plans to take on Porsche, the most classic of all sportscar manufacturers, with its newest coupe. Equipped with a larger 335-hp 3.7-liter V6 engine and having gone on a serious diet, possibly shedding as much as 200 lbs, the new Z will definitely have the cojones to keep up with its foes, including <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/06/30/in-the-autoblog-garage-2008-porsche-cayman-s/">the Cayman</a>, and its shorter wheelbase and wider track should conspire to make it quite the handler as well. We'll get our <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/02/07/nissan-370z-coming-to-los-angeles-auto-show/">first official look</a> at the new son-of-Godzilla at the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/la-auto-show/">LA Auto Show</a>, shorty after which the Nissan 370Z should show up in Japanese dealerships with U.S. delivery at a later date. Hopefully, not too much later.<br /><br />[Source: <a href="http://www.autonews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080930/ANA05/809309969/1078/rss01&amp;rssfeed=rss01">Automotive News</a> - sub. req'd]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/01/nissan-says-next-370z-to-compete-with-porsche/">Nissan says next 370Z to compete with Porsche</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Wed, 01 Oct 2008 07:58:00 EST.
