<br />
We won't press it yet, but let's just say our hand is hovering over the big red "Vaporware!" button we keep armed for just such announcements. <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/tag/dimora/">DiMora Motorcars</a> still owes us - <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2006/07/25/lv-resorts-orders-fleet-of-2-million-super-sedans/">and LV Resorts</a> - the $2-million SLS 2 sedan with its 1,200-horsepower Volcano V16 engine, <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/08/12/the-latest-from-dimora-supersedan-to-use-volcanic-rock-based-ba/">Barotex fibers</a> and <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/02/06/2m-dimora-natalia-sls-2-to-get-worlds-first-mp3-enabled-hor/">MP3-enabled horn</a>.<br />
<br />
While we wait for it, DiMora has seen fit to announce not just a new car, but a new division with two new cars said to be "nearing completion." The Neoclassic Automobiles Subsidiary will, depending on your credulity, be producing the Adina Sportster and Vicci 6.2 Super-Coupe. The Adina is a Morgan-like roadster powered by a General Motors LS3 V8 with 431 horsepower.<br />
<br />
The Vicci (pictured) gets either the LS3 or the Corvette ZR1's LS9 with 638 running through a six-speed manual, six-speed automatic or - prepare to step in your Wayback Machine - a four-speed auto. Its faux Talbot-Lago lines hide a carbon fiber dash, paddle-shifters and a stereo that displays engine diagnostics. Assuming it gets made.<br />
<br />
<a href="/2012/03/15/dimora-sketches-out-new-neoclassic-lines/#continued">Follow the jump</a> for the press release with info on two possible, but unlikely, limited-edition future cars.<p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2012/03/17/dimora-sketches-out-new-neoclassic-lines/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>DiMora sketches out new neoclassic lines</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2012/03/17/dimora-sketches-out-new-neoclassic-lines/">DiMora sketches out new neoclassic lines</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Sat, 17 Mar 2012 19:01:00 EST. <br />
The English are mad. And we know this for two reasons: one, they admit it; two, it's true. If more proof is needed, a video of <em>Evo</em> magazine's features editor, Henry Catchpole, sliding a <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2011/04/11/caterham-announces-race-based-supersport/">Caterham Supersport</a> up a French mountain in the snow should be enough. And the spindly car is missing its top. And he's missing his hat.<br />
<br />
The Supersport is <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/tag/caterham">Caterham</a>'s street-legal version of the racing Seven used in the one-make racing series. It's got short gearing, a lightweight flywheel and LSD, a race-tuned suspension, and its 1.6-liter <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/make/ford">Ford</a> engine has 140 horsepower to motivate a 1,146-pound car.<br />
<br />
So, obviously, where else would you drive it? <a href="/2012/03/12/hardcore-x2-how-to-flog-a-caterham-supersports-up-a-snow-covere/#continued">Follow the jump</a> for the memorable action.<p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2012/03/12/hardcore-x2-how-to-flog-a-caterham-supersports-up-a-snow-covere/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Hardcore x2: How to flog a Caterham Supersports up a snow-covered French mountain</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2012/03/12/hardcore-x2-how-to-flog-a-caterham-supersports-up-a-snow-covere/">Hardcore x2: How to flog a Caterham Supersports up a snow-covered French mountain</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Mon, 12 Mar 2012 14:57:00 EST. <br />
The <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/tag/Roding%20Roadster/">Roding Roadster</a> 23 is here, and having been <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2012/02/27/roding-roadster-confirmed-for-swiss-reveal/">faithful to its renderings</a>, it looks like it's come good. We knew it would have proper fenders from the latest drawings, but the red-and-black livery makes the little roofless coupe pop.<br />
<br />
Roding still hasn't decided to spill all of its secrets, not that it looks to have many, but we know there'll be just 23 examples offered. Behind those huggy seats is a turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine from <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/bmw">BMW</a> producing 320 horsepower and 332 pound-feet, charged with propelling a car that weighs just 950 kilograms (2,090 pounds). An installable hood goes in the trunk section up front.<br />
<br />
In the information from the company's site <a href="/2012/03/07/roding-roadster-geneva-2012/#continued">below</a>, however, Roding indicates that "the first cars to be produced" are a limited edition of 23, which makes it sound like they'll be around for more than a couple dozen cars.<p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2012/03/07/roding-roadster-is-fit-for-a-role-in-the-avengers/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Roding Roadster is fit for a role in <i>The Avengers</i></em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2012/03/07/roding-roadster-is-fit-for-a-role-in-the-avengers/">Roding Roadster is fit for a role in <i>The Avengers</i></a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Wed, 07 Mar 2012 13:01:00 EST. <br />
<a href="http://www.autoblog.com/porsche">Porsche</a> fettler <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/tag/ruf">RUF</a> is bringing six new products to the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/geneva-motor-show/">Geneva Motor Show</a>, showing off what it has in mind for the 991-model <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/porsche/911">911</a>. The company announced on its Facebook page that its 300-square-meter stand will showcase the "stunning CT", "rocket RT", "racer RG", "luxury RX", the "grandfather of RUF Turbo cars" as well as a surprise.<br />
<br />
The image above was surreptitiously <a href="http://www.autoevolution.com/news/ruf-ctr3-clubsport-leaked-43054.html">captured at the RUF shop</a> and is purported to be the new CTR3, hiding a 700-horsepower, twin-turbo flat six good for a sub-four second run to 62 mph and a 235 mph terminal velocity. It is shaping up to be a very good Geneva show.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2012/03/04/ruf-unveiling-six-new-models-in-geneva/">RUF unveiling six new models in Geneva</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Sun, 04 Mar 2012 12:03:00 EST.
