The Mercedes-Benz G550 Night Edition is the latest to join the queue of limited-edition vehicles lined up for some yen. An Audi R8 V10 provides the latest canvas for a China-specific special edition, and to make it easier to remember, it is called the Audi R8 China Edition. Porsche has worked up a treat to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the first two Porsche Clubs, the first of which was founded by seven gentlemen in Westphalia, Germany in 1952, and the second started by another six gentlemen a few months later. Those few enthusiasts and two organizations have grown into 181,000 members among 640 Porsche Clubs in 75 countries. In honor of those humble beginnings, Porsche has created the 911 Club Coupe.
The limited edition Peugeot 508 RXH diesel-electric hybrid has been officially unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. Only 30 of the limited edition, through-the-road hybrids will be built, so scoring one may prove incredibly difficult. Peugeot says the limited edition wagons will be sold first-come, first served and the automaker has targeted March of 2012 for the first deliveries.
