Are you not a fan of the current BMW 6 Series? Can you not wait for the next-generation model? Are you looking for something a little more exclusive? Has Fisker caught your attention with the Karma, but not so much for its hybrid drivetrain? If your answer to any of these questions was an emphatic "yes," then you may want to have a look at this eBay Motors listing.

Before kicking off his ambitious luxury hybrid project and after having penned such gorgeous sportscars as the Aston Martin V8 Vantage and BMW Z8 roadster, the noted Danish designer Henrik Fisker started his own coachbuilding operation. The California-based operation had two products: the Mercedes SL-based Tramonto and this, the BMW M6-based Latigo CS. Only 150 examples of each were made, and one of the latter - a post-revision 2008 model - has now popped up for grabs on eBay.

Mechanically, the Latigo is essentially the same as the M6 up which it is based, but Fisker managed to cut out some excess weight and enlisted the services of tuning house RDSport to tune the high-revving 5.0-liter V10 engine up to 648 horsepower. Stiffer springs and custom rolling stock are also part of the package, to say nothing of the exquisitely-crafted interior. Fisker already updating exclusive Latigo CS

The Fisker Latigo CS is a coachbuilt car built on the BMW M6, so the resemblance in general proportion between the two cars is intentional. Designed by the experienced hand of Henrik Fisker who also penned most of Aston Martin's current lineup, the original Latigo CS that debuted in Frankfurt back in 2005 was only produced in a limited-run of 150 units, with the first examples having been delivered less than two months ago.

With the paint hardly dry on his first batch, Fisker has gone back and updated the Latigo CS for a second run of 150 units. The car is now shorter, with both the front and rear ends mildly redesigned. The headlights are now slimmer, and the new lower air intakes up front are more aggressive and sharply styled, while the rear also gets new thinner taillamps. The hood also features a wider power bulge that flows into Fisker's trademark grille that can be ordered up in anodized aluminum or a black powder-coat. The Latigo also rolls on a new set of lightweight ten-spoke, three-piece 20-inch wheels.

Being based on the BMW 6-Series, this update for the Fisker Latigo neatly coincides with a mild refreshening of BMW's big coupe. The Latigo can reportedly also be ordered with the 650Ci as its basis, but why anyone wouldn't choose the mighty M6 as their canvas on which to paint is beyond us.
