<br />If Drake, the ur-vampire from <em>Blade Trinity</em>, were a car, this is the car he would be. Starting with a CL600, tuning firm Kicherer didn't waste time throwing pieces at the car's already aggressive styling. Instead, Kicherer attacked the CL's jugular: sloppy performance due to the car's portliness. <br /><br />The biturbo V12 gets 53 extra horses to corral 570 in total, torque gets smacked up to 664 lb-ft., the engine gets a new transmission control module to better deal with the extra juice, and out back, the rear axle gets a locking rear differential. The car is lowered an inch, and firmer springs help keep things settled when it's go time. Will all this turn the car into a cheetah? Probably not, but with the carbon goodies added throughout and the 20-inch Kircherer RS-1 wheels, it <em>will </em>look mighty good doing whatever it does. You can see for yourself in the gallery below.<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/kicherer-cl60/low/">Kicherer CL60</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/kicherer-cl60/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/10/kich_cl60_01_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/kicherer-cl60/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/10/kich_cl60_04_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/kicherer-cl60/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/10/kich_cl60_07_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/kicherer-cl60/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/10/kich_cl60_08_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/kicherer-cl60/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/10/kich_cl60_10_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br />[Source: <a href="http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/News/articleId=133306#4">Inside Line</a>]<p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/12/m-b-cl600-kicherer-monumentally-badass-cl60/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>M-B CL600 + Kicherer = Monumentally Badass CL60</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/12/m-b-cl600-kicherer-monumentally-badass-cl60/">M-B CL600 + Kicherer = Monumentally Badass CL60</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Sun, 12 Oct 2008 16:08:00 EST. A new front spoiler reduces front lift, while a new rear spoiler adds downforce. Original 19" rims were replaced with larger but lighter 20s. But the most obvious, and perhaps most effective, change is the new set of springs that takes the car down 15mm in front and a whopping 30mm in <strike>front</strike> the rear.<br /><br />No word on how these changes affect the R8's already phenomenal handling, nor is there any word on how phenomenally these changes will affect your wallet. But we're pretty sure if you're seriously interested in buying one, you know who to call to find out.<br /><br />For more photos, check out our <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/kicherer-r8/">gallery</a>.<br /><br />[Source: Motor Authority]<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/kicherer-r8/low/">Kicherer R8</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/kicherer-r8/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/08/kitchererr8---5_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/kicherer-r8/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/08/kitchererr8---2_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/kicherer-r8/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/08/kitchererr8---9_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/kicherer-r8/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/08/kitchererr8---7_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/kicherer-r8/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/08/kitchererr8---1_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/08/05/kicherer-brings-audis-r8-down-a-notch/">Kicherer brings Audi's R8 down a notch</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Sun, 05 Aug 2007 20:15:00 EST. One good turn deserves another, and this time, it gets the Darth Vader treatment.<br /><br />To begin with, the bi-turbo V12 gets a power upgrade to the tune of 605 HP, allowing a run to 62 to be dispatched in 4.3 seconds, continuing on to 200 km/h in 14.2 seconds. Power is fed through the stock transmission and sent to the rear rollers consisting of 20-inch deep-dish wheels with 305mm Continental tires. The revised suspension drops the SL down another 25mm, while the active body control system has been tweaked to keep roll at bay.<br /><br />The exterior benefits from a carbon fiber bootlid and hood, along with a revised aero kit, that includes a front spoiler and a rear diffuser. On the inside, the stock steering wheel has been replaced with a smaller, F1-style unit, complete with carbon fiber paddles.<br /><br />Kicherer's press release, outlining all the mods, is posted after the jump and a gallery of images is included below.<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/kicherer-sl-k60-evo-black/low/">Kicherer SL K60 EVO Black</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/kicherer-sl-k60-evo-black/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/05/kicherer_sl_k_60_evo_1280_01_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/kicherer-sl-k60-evo-black/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/05/kicherer_sl_k_60_evo_1280_02_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/kicherer-sl-k60-evo-black/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/05/kicherer_sl_k_60_evo_1280_03_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/kicherer-sl-k60-evo-black/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/05/kicherer_sl_k_60_evo_1280_04_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/kicherer-sl-k60-evo-black/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/05/kicherer_sl_k_60_evo_1280_05_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/05/23/merc-sl600-gets-evil-er-kicherer-sl-k60-evo-black/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Merc SL600 gets evil(er): Kicherer SL K60 EVO Black</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/05/23/merc-sl600-gets-evil-er-kicherer-sl-k60-evo-black/">Merc SL600 gets evil(er): Kicherer SL K60 EVO Black</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Wed, 23 May 2007 11:07:00 EST.
