Football, Rachel Maddow Fans Among Most Engaged By 'Kick Gas'
With 22 months of record Leaf sales under its zero-emission belt, Nissan has started two big ad campaigns for the battery-powered Leaf. On TV, there's the Kick Gas campaign (it's a popular name) and on social media, Nissan is promoting the EV as the "world's cleanest car" (it's a paint thing). We don't know how much the paint prank is costing, but we do have some estimated numbers for the TV ads.
It's official: Kia's adorable Soul-hawking Hamsters have crossed that line. It was one thing when they first hit the scene, and we got a small chuckle out of their trimmer looks for the refreshed, 2014 Soul. This, though, is too much.
The lovable, anthropomorphic hamsters from Kia are known for electronic dance music, head bopping, and of course, a certain funktastic Korean box-on-wheels. With a new Soul on the way, the adorable rodents need to be ready to appear alongside the resculpted crossover. Only one thing could get them ready in time - cue the training montage.
As promised, the Kia Hamsters have returned for yet another volley of advertisements to show off the Soul. We've seen the rodents play roles in some fairly strange situations in the past, but the newest clip takes top honors in that department.
We certainly hope you like seeing hamsters during your commercial breaks. Kia is readying a new volley of ads for the 2013 Soul featuring the fuzzy little rodents doing what they do best, according to Automotive News.
The marketing-obsessed folks over at Adweek have compiled a list of the most-watched advertisements on YouTube of all time. Six of those 20 ads are automotive-related, which should come as no surprise, considering the amount of money automakers pour into car ads.
