Here's what the $895 Dream Car Tour entails. After covering 150 miles at either of Gotham's locations (NY/NJ region or Miami/South Florida), you'll get a t-shirt and certificate of completion. If that's not enough proof for the skeptics, you'll also get a DVD of your day behind the wheel of a Ferrari 458 Italia, Lamborghini Murciélago, McLaren MP4-12C and more (six cars in all).

Deadline for entry is Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at noon. The winner will receive a non-expiring transferable gift certificate for one Dream Car Tour that's redeemable at either location. Though you'll be responsible for your own travel and lodging, we think it's worth the trip.

Gotham Dream Cars announces Legends Dream Car Tour

It's fantastic enough to get to drive a Lamborghini - any Lamborghini. Be it a Gallardo, Murcielago, Diablo, Countach, whatever... you won't have to ask us twice if we want to get behind the wheel. Gotham Dream Cars, an exotic car rental company based in New York, is making driving some of Italy's finest supercars even more enticing. They have announced the Legends Dream Car Tour, in which a handful of of people willing to part with $1495.00 get to pilot five different Lamborghinis during a half-day of driving. But wait, there's more! As a bonus, each participant will also get to experience riding shotgun with Valentino Balboni, Lamborghini's legendary test driver. The tour is only scheduled for two days in June, so those who are interested better sign up before the slots are filled. More details in the press release after the jump, where we've also stuck the classic Top Gear clip of Valentino taking Clarkson for a spin in the Diablo VT.

Gotham Dream Cars launches DreamShare exotic car club

The East Coast premium rental car company, Gotham Dream Cars, has just launched its own "Exotic Car Club" program called DreamShare. The program is offered through the firm's NY and Miami locations, and offers drivers a chance to sample supercars and exotics without the hassles of ownership like depreciation, storage concerns, maintenance costs and the like. And really, for $300-$450 a day, who wouldn't love to have a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin or Bentley available for a weekend trip to the Vineyard? Feeling a bit more patriotic? You can choose the Ford GT or Corvette Z06 then.

Like other programs of its type, members pay a membership fee and get a certain number of points they can use to rent vehicles in the rotation. They'll even deliver the car to you. DreamShare has three tiers of service: Platinum, Titanium and Elite. Each gives you more days of rentals (20, 45, 90 days) for a higher price tag ($9,000, $18,000, $27,000). It's actually quite reasonable when you break it down, especially for cars of this level. The current active fleet consists of a pair of Aston Martin Vanquishes, a brace of Murcielagos, a couple of Gallardo Spyders, a 360 Spider duo, an F430, Bentley GTC, Ford GT, and Chevy Corvette Z06, among others. The cars generally move to NY in Summer and Florida in Winter, but they promise cars in each city year-round.
