With seemingly every special edition model being blinged-up and chrome frosted inside and out, you'd figure something called the Millionaire Edition would be the most ostentatious thing on four wheels. But Nissan's luxury division has taken an entirely more understated approach with the 2010 Infiniti FX Millionaire Edition.<br /> <br /> Instead of chrome or gold plating, the FX Millionaire gets dark graphite trim on the exterior, including the grille, air dam, 21-inch wheels and roof rails - as well as the window surrounds, from the look of it - complementing the Obsidian Black or White Moonlight paint schemes. Inside, it's all Alcantara micro-suede with brown stitching offset by carbon fiber, plus all the advanced features from the catalog, including sat-nav, Infiniti's excellent Around View Monitor system and Bose audio.<br /> <br /> The package is available on either the FX37 or FX50, but only in Europe, with no more than 100 examples to be built. Equipped with the 390-horsepower, 5.0-liter V8, the FX50 Millionaire Edition sells in the price-inflated UK market for a princely &euro;95,450 - about $144k in 'merican greenbacks, or more than twice the base price for us non-millionaires. On second thought, maybe we'll save those kudos for another time. The FX Millionaire Edition is being unveiled next week, appropriately enough, at Amsterdam's Millionaire Fair.<br /> <br /> [Source: <a href="http://www.autoweek.nl/autonieuws/13153/Actiemodel-Millionaire-Edition-van-crossover-FX">AutoWeek.nl</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/12/02/infiniti-prepares-special-fx-millionaire-edition-exclusively-for/">Infiniti prepares special FX Millionaire Edition exclusively for Europe</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Wed, 02 Dec 2009 17:40:00 EST. <br />We've just gotten confirmation that Infiniti will equip its European FX series crossover with the 330 hp, 3.7-liter V6 (VQ37VHR) and it's slated to make its world debut at the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/tag/ParisMotorShow/">Paris Motor Show</a> next month.<br /><br />Infiniti has decided to only offer the 3.7-liter V6 on its range of vehicles abroad, and there are no plans to bring the FX37 Stateside.<br /><br />Infiniti's crossover will be available in both FX37 GT and FX37S versions, with 0-60 times in the 6.8-second range and a top speed of 145 mph. Standard equipment includes 20-inch alloys, Scratch Shield paint, all-wheel-drive, xenon headlamps and a seven-speed automatic gearbox controlled via steering wheel-mounted paddles. The FX37S comes equipped with 21-inch wheels, sports seats and Continuous Damping Control.<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2009-infiniti-fx50/low/">2009 Infiniti FX50</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2009-infiniti-fx50/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/03/00_z_fx50_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2009-infiniti-fx50/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/03/01_z_fx50_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2009-infiniti-fx50/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/03/02_z_fx50_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2009-infiniti-fx50/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/03/03_z_fx50_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2009-infiniti-fx50/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/03/04_z_fx50_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/first-drive-infiniti-fx/low/">First Drive: Infiniti FX</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/first-drive-infiniti-fx/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/04/01_fd_infiniti_fx_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/first-drive-infiniti-fx/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/04/02_fd_infiniti_fx_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/first-drive-infiniti-fx/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/04/03_fd_infiniti_fx_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/first-drive-infiniti-fx/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/04/04_fd_infiniti_fx_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/first-drive-infiniti-fx/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/04/05_fd_infiniti_fx_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/09/12/infiniti-bringing-fx37-to-paris-no-fx37-for-the-u-s/">Infiniti bringing FX37 to Paris, no FX37 for the U.S.</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Fri, 12 Sep 2008 12:58:00 EST. While the head and taillights are taped off, not much is left to the imagination. The car's basic overall shape remains the same, but a more pronounced grille opening dominates the protruding nose. It's flanked by <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/01/21/spy-shots-infiniti-fx55-think-angry/">angry-looking</a> reshaped headlamps that stretch backward onto the fenders. It's certainly a departure from the more reserved look of the current one's schnoz. The tape running the length of the body obscures a character line that's been seen in <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/01/21/spy-shots-infiniti-fx55-think-angry/">other photos</a>. <br /><br /><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-2009-infiniti-fx/632750/"><img width="250" vspace="4" hspace="4" height="180" border="1" align="right" src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/02/priddy09fx_feb08_autoblog_250.jpg" alt="2009 Infiniti FX" /></a>Out back, pointier taillamps mimic the reshaped lighting up front, and the integrated spoiler on the rear hatch is now body-colored, as opposed to the blacked-out piece on the current car. Brenda also reports that the new FX is slightly longer than the one it's set to replace. An FX37 with at least 300 horsepower is expected, as is as a step-up model sporting a 5.0 or 5.5-liter V8 making something in the vicinity 375 - 400 horses. We'll be in Geneva to bring you the news as it happens. <br /><br />[Source: Brenda Priddy &amp; Co.]<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-2009-infiniti-fx/low/">Spy Shots: 2009 Infiniti FX</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-2009-infiniti-fx/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/02/priddy09fx_feb08_autoblog1_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-2009-infiniti-fx/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/02/priddy09fx_feb08_autoblog2_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/02/09/spy-shots-2009-infiniti-fx/">Spy Shots: 2009 Infiniti FX</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Sat, 09 Feb 2008 14:30:00 EST. However, everything aft of the A-pillar appears to carry over from the current model -- pretty much what we've expected.<br /><br />More important than the exterior changes is what lies underhood, and according to Top Speed the new FX will come equipped with either the new 3.7-liter VQ V6 or a 5-liter V8, producing 390 HP and 369 lb.-ft. of torque. Naturally, the new models' badging will reflect their newfound power: FX37 and FX50, respectively.<br /><br />Beyond the upgraded powerplants, expect the new FX to come equipped with a back-up camera, radar-assisted cruise control and mirrors that will automatically adjust when the seating position is changed.<br /><br />Although Top Speed simply cites an internal source for all these details, most of the information seems entirely plausible. We'll just have to wait until next year, when Infiniti pulls the cover off of the new FX in Geneva for confirmation.<br /><br />[Source: Top Speed]<br /><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/07/28/sketched-speculation-infiniti-fx37-fx50-concept/">Sketched speculation: Infiniti FX37/FX50 concept</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Sat, 28 Jul 2007 12:05:00 EST. But aside from powertrain speculation, Igo remained mum on any styling revisions that the long-in-the-tooth FX will undergo. We'll be on the floor in Geneva in March, so for now, the waiting game begins.<br /><br />[Source: GT Channel]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/07/24/all-new-infiniti-fx-to-debut-in-geneva-08/">All-new Infiniti FX to debut in Geneva '08</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Tue, 24 Jul 2007 08:37:00 EST.
