Have you ever wondered why home improvement delivery trucks have that little forklift piggybacking on the back of the trailer? To make unloading all the heavy supplies easier, of course. But what happens if you're trying to unload a massive amount of bamboo quickly and without a forklift? For this driver, the answer is to get creative.

We don't want to spoil that action for you, but you can check it out for yourself in the video posted below. We're just not sure if we should file this as a "How To" or a "What Not To Do" video. Either way, enjoy.
Continue reading How to unload a truckload of bamboo poles

How to unload a truckload of bamboo poles originally appeared on Autoblog on Fri, 22 Mar 2013 12:59:00 EST.
Toyota tried to make family hauler commercials cool with its "Swagger Wagon" spot for the Sienna minivan back in 2010, but now Fiat looks to have created the unrated version of Toyota's idea with a web ad for its new Fiat 500L called "The Motherhood." Trying to cater to the 500L's target demographic, no punches are pulled as this blonde British mom attempts to describe all the joys of family raising.

We're not going to spoil anything for you here, but if you're hoping for useful information about the larger 500L, then this commercial isn't for you. If you're looking for an entertaining way to kill a few minutes, then check the (now viral) video out by scrolling below. With more double entendres than you'll know what do with, though, we have to warn you that this video's language might be a little unsafe for conservative workplaces.
Continue reading Is the Fiat 500L the new, smaller swagger wagon?

Is the Fiat 500L the new, smaller swagger wagon? originally appeared on Autoblog on Wed, 19 Dec 2012 13:00:00 EST.
The desire to listen to tunes on the road has led to all sorts of innovations. It's where Motorola got its start, it's where eight-tracks lived and died, it was the impetus for the invention of satellite radio... But this, this is something new.

Evidently tired of playing in their parents' garage, a teenage band in Russia has hit the road. But instead of a beat-up old jalopy or a tour bus, they strapped their gear to a motorbike and what looks like a purpose-built side-car and hit the open road. And played while in motion. Not exactly the kind of behavior we'd encourage of our youth - especially not without helmets - but highly entertaining just the same. Follow the jump to watch the brief video clip.
Continue reading Band on the run rocks Russia's freeways with crazy motorcycle

Band on the run rocks Russia's freeways with crazy motorcycle originally appeared on Autoblog on Mon, 03 Oct 2011 12:31:00 EST.
