<div align="center"><em><strong><small>2010 Volvo C70 Spy Shots - Click above for a high-res gallery</small></strong></em><br /></div>
<br />Swedespeed forum member al_bcn has managed to capture a pair of what looks to be Volvo's refreshed-for-2010 C70 convertibles totally undisguised. The topless twosome were caught galavanting around in Barcelona as they were apparently being shot for some sort of commercial.<br /><br />The folding hardtop four-seater looks as if it benefits from a very similar front-end to the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/01/11/detroit-2009-volvo-s60-debuts-sexy-scandinavian-design/">Concept S60</a> unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit this past January. Incorporating a larger set of swept-back headlamps and a deeper, less upright grille, the C70's look is certainly evolutionary, but as it's a handsome enough model, we don't see this denting its appeal. Out back, the changes seem to be even more modest, with new headlamp lenses featuring more prominent backup lamps.<br /><br />Whether there are substantive changes in the interior or under the C70's skin remains to be seen, but judging by the finished state of these cars, we expect to see them debut on the show circuit soon.<em> Hat tip to Erik!</em><br /><br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-2010-volvo-c70/low/">Spy Shots: 2010 Volvo C70</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-2010-volvo-c70/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/06/2010-volvo-c70-forumspy-_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-2010-volvo-c70/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/06/2010-volvo-c70-forumspy--(1)_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-2010-volvo-c70/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/06/2010-volvo-c70-forumspy--(2)_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-2010-volvo-c70/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/06/2010-volvo-c70-forumspy--(3)_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-2010-volvo-c70/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/06/2010-volvo-c70-forumspy--(4)_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br />[Source: <a href="http://forums.swedespeed.com/zerothread?id=119940">Swedespeed</a>]<br /><br /> <br /><br /><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/06/05/forum-spy-2010-volvo-c70-convertible-snapped-during-barcelona-c/">Forum Spy: 2010 Volvo C70 convertible snapped during Barcelona commercial shoot</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Fri, 05 Jun 2009 08:57:00 EST. While little has changed from the standard 3-series cabrio, the fender flares, cut-up front fascia and quad exhaust are clearly M-specific kit, despite the lack of visible vents in the hood and on the front quarter panels.<br /><br />We somehow doubt that a carbon fiber folding roof mechanism will be part of the package, but we'd like to be pleasantly surprised when the M3 convertible makes its debut in Geneva next year.<br /><br />[Source: Jalopnik]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/11/27/spy-shots-bmw-e93-m3-hard-top-convertible/">Spy Shots: BMW E93 M3 hard-top convertible</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Tue, 27 Nov 2007 17:29:00 EST. The standard fixed-roof Scirocco is expected to take cues from the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2006/09/28/paris-motor-show-vw-iroc-concept/">IROC concept</a> that debuted back in Paris in 2006 and be built off the same architecture that underpins the Volkswagen Eos convertible. That will allow the convertible version of the Scirocco to benefit from a retractable hardtop mechanism inspired by the Eos, although VW's engineers will probably ditch the rear seats in an effort to maximize storage space. With the top up, parcels can be stowed with room to spare in the trunk, and when the urge to enjoy open-air motoring strikes, there'll be an ample amount of space to throw a <a href="http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=murse">murse</a> and a few other amenities behind the front seats. Naturally, rollover hoops will be mounted to score points in the safety department.<br /><br />[Source: Auto Express]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/09/27/fancy-a-topless-scirocco-vws-got-you-un-covered/">Fancy a topless Scirocco? <p>If the rumors of a folding hardtop MX-5 are true, it looks as if Mazda will flip its lid at the British Motor Show
in London this July.</p>
<p>Word is that the retractable tin-top will add about $2,700-$3,600 over the conventional version. It is not known
what sort of weight penalty the power hardtop will exact on the limber MX-5, or if it will be bundled with other
additional equipment.</p>
<p>The British Motor Show has been struggling for some time on the world stage, with many manufacturers pulling their
presence over the past few years. But with this show slated to see world debuts of the aforementioned MX-5, the new
Vauxhall Corsa, and the Land Rover Freelander successor, its profile could rise dramatically.</p>
