Despite Wall Street's expectations to the contrary, General Motors experienced a February sales decrease of 2.5-percent-- analysts were hoping for a 1.3-percent uptick. Retail sales (as distinct from fleet transactions) did increase 1-percent, largely on the strength of the General's new GMT900 SUVs, which are "exceeding all of the important targets," according to the automaker.
