Eterniti Artemis "super SUV" officially bows, yours for $334K

As of November 9, 2012 Eterniti Motors, makers of the Artemis (nee Hemera), has a home in Park Royal, London. The company produces its "super SUV" at a facility in London and has opened the 10,000-square-foot atelier, design studio and showroom nearby. Revealed on the night was the production version of the Artemis, the Cayenne-based high-rider brawned up with a 4.8-liter V8 making 600 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque.

The Artemis exists to satisfy "a car suitable for chauffeured transport but also for driving pleasure." Hence carbon fiber body panels, 23-inch lightweight wheels on low-pros, the interior of quilted leather, lambswool rugs, reclining and climate-controlled rear seats and a drink chiller with crystal tumblers. We don't know how the driven classes have survived all this time...

The price in all markets but China is the local equivalent of £210,000 ($334K US) plus taxes. A starlight headliner is free, further customization is not. More showrooms are expected to open next year, starting with Hong Kong. The press release below can tell you more.

Eterniti Motors brings updated Hemera Artemis SUV to Beijing

Eterniti Motors chose the 2012 Beijing Motor Show to unveil the Artemis, an engineering prototype of the Hemera SUV Concept we saw at the Frankfurt Motor Show earlier this year. From the looks of things, the boutique automaker has ditched the Porsche Cayenne-inspired front for a fascia that borrows a bit more heavily from the Jaguar playbook. The company says the vehicles on display are currently running prototypes used for testing and that finished examples should be in production by this summer.

Designed to offer buyers new levels of luxury and performance, Eterniti calls the Artemis a Super SUV. The cabin boasts absurd levels of hand-crafted detail, including quilted carpets with lambswool rugs, natural wood veneers with carbon fiber and piano black accents and twin reclining rear seats. Eterniti stitched the SUV's body from carbon composite and massive 23-inch wheels are standard equipment. Under the hood, a 4.8-liter twin-turbo V8 (wonder where they got that?) dumps 600 horsepower to the ground and helps the machine dart to 62 mph in a scant 4.5 seconds.

Buyers may purchase their own Artemis for around $337,785 at current conversion rates, complete with a two-year, 100,000-mile warranty. Eterniti thoughtfully offers insurance and financing for those who don't have that sort of cash on hand. Hit the jump for the full press release.

Eterniti Hemera to hit market in April

Even if Eterniti Motors hasn't exactly made its Hemera SUV beautiful, it has kept it on a consistently delivered timeline. The boutique British company showed off the Hemera, it's Cayenne-Turbo-S-based "SUV meets BMW M5" at the Frankfurt Motor Show, and now says the final version will rock up to the Beijing Motor Show in April before going on sale later this year.

According to Autocar, only a tiny amount of those sales, though, will take place outside of China: Eterniti plans a first-year run of 50 Hemeras, with 90 percent of them booked for China. The last five of them will be split between Russia, the Middle East and Europe. They could also be paying a little more than previously reported, with the Frankfurt price tag of £150,000 ($240,000 U.S.) now quoted as "above £150,000."

And that's before the bespoke options are arranged on top of the four climate-controlled seats, wireless iPad integration and drink chiller. The 23-inch lightweight wheels, however, won't be extra - shod in low-profile tires they're said to provide a sporting yet refined ride.

Eterniti Motors has chosen the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show as the stage upon which it will make its global debut. The British automaker has one model ready for review, and it's a sport-utility vehicle that is light on the 'U' and heavy on the 'S'. It's called the Hemera, and Eterniti plans to have it fighting in the same space that's soon to be occupied by the likes of Aston Martin, Bentley and Maserati.

Under the reshaped skin of the Hemera sits a Porsche Cayenne that's been given a new heart and upgraded interior. Beneath the hood lies a 4.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces 620 horsepower, and the seating area comes complete with heated and cooled reclining rear seats, a pair of iPads with wireless keyboards and a drink chiller.

Eterniti says it will begin production of the Hemera in early 2012, and customers can expect to take delivery by the summer. Those customers will need to shell out £150,000, or nearly $240,000. That price includes the three-year warranty, and a "flying doctor" service to pick up and return the car when needed.

Eterniti Motors Hemera SUV promises 620 hp, limousine-like cabin

Yes, its resemblance to the Porsche Cayenne may be cunning, but what you're looking at here is the "world's first Super-SUV," created by British carmaker Eterniti Motors. It's bulgy and aggressive-looking, but we just can't shake the fact that this is clearly a Cayenne ripoff. Still, we like the Cayenne, so how bad the Eterniti creation be?

Called the Hemera, the Eterniti Motors sport-ute will allegedly go into production at the end of 2012. It will be hand-built in London, and will feature amenities like power rear reclining seats, iPads and a drink chiller for rear passengers - part of what Eterniti calls the Hemera's "limousine-like" cabin. Powertrain details are unknown as of this writing, but Eterniti states that the Hemera will produce 620 horsepower, have four-wheel drive and will reach a top speed of over 180 miles per hour.

Eterniti Hemera 'super SUV' inches closer to Frankfurt

The world isn't lacking for niche British automakers, but Eterniti Motors thinks we can do with one more. The upstart released little more than a teaser video and a single sketch of its first offering, and now it's come back with a little something else before next week's show in Germany.

Called the Hemera, it's not a painful posterior condition, but what Eterniti calls a "Super-SUV". Several automakers (such as Bentley, Lamborghini and Spyker) have sought to pioneer such a segment, but if Eterniti can actually make it to market, it will be (as claimed in the press copy after the jump) the first of its kind.

Little in the way of details have been disclosed, but the Hemera is slated to offer a "limousine-like rear cabin" with reclining seats, iPads and a drinks cooler and rumors suggest it's based partially on the Porsche Cayenne. Development is being lead by Alastair MacQueen, the chap who engineered the XJ220 at Jaguar (as well as its and Bentley's victorious Le Mans campaigns) with test driving duties undertaken by former F1 driver Johnny Herbert.

We'll have to wait another week or so until the Hemera is unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show, but with this level of talent on board, Eterniti may stand a real chance at producing an impressive product.

What you see above is a teaser sketch of new car, called Hemera, from a new London-based luxury automobile company, called Eterniti Motors. The full concept will be revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show in just a few weeks, and don't worry - up until this writing, we had never heard of any of this before, either.

Call us skeptical on the car and company's viability, but we'll have to wait until we see this thing in person to assess its chances.

Aside from this sketch, Eterniti Motors has not released a single detail about its Hemera concept. We can see that it's a high-riding five-door and its sleek proportions and aggressive front fascia speak to an aura of sportiness. Kinda.
