AddRoehr planning electric superbike, will enter U.S. TTXGP

It seems that the promise of recognition through electric motorcycle racing is bringing an increasing number of unlikely competitors to the racing fray. Add newly-born American motorcycle manufacturer Roehr to that growing list as the company has just announced its intentions to offer both racing and street versions of the eRoehr electric motorcycle.

AddElectric Moto Corporation unveils new EMAX 72DS

Take note, Zero Motorcycles and Quantya: There's a new electric motorcycle in town. California-based Electric Moto Corporation (aka EMOT) has announced a new motorcycle called the EMAX 72DS. As hinted to by the bike's name, this electric two-wheeler will be running a 14 kW, 72-volt battery pack that will provide a claimed three-hour run time. Further, the DS signifies that the bike will be a dual sport that's both off-road capable and road legal.

Teasers... generally the small, grainy, purposely-blurred or otherwise difficult to decipher images don't give away very much and are used to generate excitement for a new product before its official announcement. Usually, it takes a keen eye to pull out any detail from the resulting wreckage. Such is the case with the latest teaser image from Mavizen, the company that's planning to release a new twin-motor electric racebike inspired by the TTXGP-winning electric racer from Team Agni.
