We like big butts, but we cannot lie - there is a limit a to our love. And the vehicle above has crossed over said limit, knocking a few things over with its ghetto booty while it was at it. Right about now, you should be scratching your head (or other parts) and wondering what the heck it is you're looking at, so we'll tell you. It's a 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora modified into a sort of coupe-pickup-thing, to be specific. Strictly speaking, behind the driver and passenger it's all trunk, but while we don't generally geek over pickup-car conversions like some other sites on the net (who shall remain nameless), we wonder what the point is here.

The Scattare (Italian for "jump", as in "jump out of the way") is the unfortunate work of DiMora Designs, a division of same company that's been working on the DiMora Motors Natalia SLS 2, a luxury sedan with little more than its $2 million target price tag to show for itself thus far. And while we appreciate the creativity and the apparent craftsmanship on display with the Scattare, please understand if it doesn't exactly fill us with hope for dear Natalia.

DiMora Designs recently began work on modifying another Olds Aurora, this one from 1996. Project Manager Jim Willis says he doesn't plan to change it much, just little tweaks like converting this front-engine car into a mid-engine car. Yikes! $2M DiMora Natalia SLS 2 to get - wait for it - world's first MP3-enabled horn

Spend two million bucks on a car, and you'll get to have whatever the hell you want as a horn tone. Alfred DiMora is back, adding more splashy aftermarket items to the list of standard equipment on his Natalia ~~vaporware~~ sport luxury sedan. DiMora Motorcar has decided that the Horntones system will be factory-fitted to every V16 Natalia SLS 2 produced. So far, that's none. This isn't the first time the Natalia has specified an item cherrypicked from SEMA awards, and we suspect it won't be the last.

The Horntones system has 256MB of flash memory that can be loaded up with MP3 files. Once your files are in the Horntones system, there's a 150-watt speaker to delight everyone within a quarter mile by blaring your audio with a 110dB sound pressure level. DiMora contends that the Horntones rig is the most significant development in car horns in the last 100 years. We disagree - after all, the Dukes of Hazzard General Lee had that bitchin' setup that played Dixie.

DiMora Natalia SLS 2: spec list shapes up for $2 million super sedan

As development moves ahead on the Natalia SLS 2, DiMora Motorcar is building an extensive list of equipment from OEMs for the anticipated $2 million super-sedan. The latest: DiMora has announced that the car will come equipped with the HeatFlexx electrically-heated frameless windshield wiper. (It's exciting, we know.) The HeatFlexx system, designed by Von Stach Products, is just one of the many innovations expected to form part of the multi-million-dollar package, the spec sheet of which is starting to shape up. Starting with the windshield wipers.

The more interesting centerpiece of the DiMora Natalia is the Volcano engine, a variable-cylinder aluminum V16 with an output pegged at 1200 horsepower. A four-wheel steering system is also slated, directing the 24-inch rims coated in special run-flat tires. Inside, more than 50 computer will coordinate the engine management, infotainment and climate control systems. Each passenger will have his or her own zoned climate controls, and a deployable front passenger seat will be built in to ease access for the (obscenely wealthy) handicapped.

The DiMora Natalia is a project of Automotive Hall of Famer Alfred J. DiMora , who ambitiously claims "The Natalia will set the standard for 21st Century automotive excellence." As we reported earlier, Luxury Resort Villas placed an early order for 10 Natalias, but without so much as a prototype shown to date, they may have to wait awhile after the expected 2008 delivery.

LV Resorts orders fleet of $2 million super sedans

Luxury Resort Villas, which owns at least 10 luxury resort estates around the world, has ordered a fleet of 10 Natalia SLS 2 Sport Luxury Sedans from DiMora Motorcar. These handcrafted super sedans will be built in Palm Springs, CA, and feature a 1,200-horsepower "Volcano" V16 engine. A Natalia will be available for use by luxury resort home owners in Las Vegas, Hawaii, Tuscany and Dubai, among others locales.

The Natalia SLS 2 Sport Luxury Sedan has too many features to list, but some of the more outrageous ones include video screens and a video projector housed in the headlights that enable the car to project a video while parked, rear-seat massagers, heat-sensitive color-changing paint, biofeedback sensors that measure the driver's physical condition, a night vision heads-up display, and a $12,000 limited-production Natalia lady's purse and bottle of Natalia wine that features a self-uncorking system that comes with the car.

The DiMora Motorcar website is still a little unfinished, though Luxury Resort Villas claims that it's taking delivery of its Natalia fleet in 2008.
