This time last year, rumors of a joint collaboration between Audi and motorcycle manufacturer KTM to build a lightweight, street-legal, track toy began to surface. Finally, after a year of speculation, a series of miscalculated renderings and a few hard facts, it's official: KTM will be unveiling the X-Bow in Geneva next month.
More information on the Audi/KTM collaboration has shown up in Auto Motor Und Sport that finally puts a name to lightweight roadster and gives us some definitive power figures. The Crossbow as it will be called shall be powered by a two-liter, turbocharged inline-four producing 220 HP in the base model and 320 HP in range-topping trim. Weight is expected to be below 700 kilograms, or approximately 1,500 pounds.
