Sometimes in life we just get lucky, and that is exactly what two Iowa police are experiencing after narrowly escaping a pickup truck that careened off the road. The whole incident was caught on one of the officer's dashboard-mounted cameras.
A growing number of states are starting to adopt "move over" laws to help protect emergency workers, and this video posted by the Massachusetts State Police on its Facebook page shows the importance of said laws. Captured by a traffic camera in the Thomas P O'Neill Jr. Tunnel in Boston, the video shows a trooper alerting traffic of upcoming lane closures and a small black car (shown above) narrowly missing hitting the cruiser at a high rate of speed.
Talk about a close call! During a recent rainstorm in Taiwan's Badouzi Coastal Park, a mudslide and accompanying colossal boulder nearly flattened a car on the roadway below. Fortunately for everyone involved, the iceberg-sized rock stops just short of the car and its very lucky occupants (hey, maybe they should play the lottery).
