It can really boost public morale to have Bond associate with the most beautiful women in the world, use the most incredible gadgets, and drive the world's finest cars. It can be equally devastating, then, to have Bond engaging in any of these activities with anything less than the best. So it comes as little surprise that <a href="http:// http://www.channel4.com/4car/ft/feature/feature/15914/"><em>Channel 4</em></a> has called out the Bond creators for some of their awful vehicular choices. They've assembled a Bottom 10, if you will, of bad cars that Bond has been forced to drive or co-pilot on the silver screen. The list includes everything from a <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/10-worst-james-bond-cars/1121298/">Tuk Tuk</a> to an <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/10-worst-james-bond-cars/1121291/">Aston Martin DBS</a>, but probably not the one you're thinking of. It's a fun read with a pretty spot-on analysis of the merits of each selection, but we're pretty sure some of the choices will be debated. Do you disagree with any of the selections? Think they're nuts for skipping something? Let us know.<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/10-worst-james-bond-cars/low/">10 Worst James Bond Cars</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/10-worst-james-bond-cars/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/10/amc-hornet_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/10-worst-james-bond-cars/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/10/aston-martin-dbs-old_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/10-worst-james-bond-cars/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/10/audo-200-turbo_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/10-worst-james-bond-cars/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/10/bmw-7-series-old_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/10-worst-james-bond-cars/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/10/bmw-z3_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br />[Source: <a href="http:// http://www.channel4.com/4car/ft/feature/feature/15914/">Channel 4</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/27/bottom-10-worst-james-bond-cars-ever/">Bottom 10: Worst James Bond cars ever</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Mon, 27 Oct 2008 16:29:00 EST. Bear with us then as we play a bit of catch-up this week and share some pics of the unveilings and debuts you may have missed. Here we show off a few shots of the more track-like DBS from Aston Martin. Finished in a bluish silver or silvery light blue depending on your vantage point (Ha ha, <em>vantage</em>), we're still a bit conflicted about this newest top rung Aston. While the recently retired Vanquish was all brutal muscle with some semblance of elegance still there, this DBS looks a bit tuner-like, and although it looks like it might be comfortable at a track-day event, it loses some of the fluidity of design that has been the hallmark of recent Aston Martin design. We'll reserve judgment until after one spends some time in the AB garage (fingers crossed!). There are plenty of media pics available by clicking <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/08/17/aston-martin-dbs-full-info-mega-gallery/">here</a> and some additional pricing details that slipped directly from the horse's mouth available by clicking <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/08/19/dr-bez-spills-the-beans-announces-dbs-pricing/">here</a>.<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/pebble-beach-week-2007-concept-and-debut-wrapup/low/">Pebble Beach Week 2007: Aston Martin DBS debut</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/pebble-beach-week-2007-concept-and-debut-wrapup/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/08/astonmartindbs---1_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/pebble-beach-week-2007-concept-and-debut-wrapup/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/08/astonmartindbs---10_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/pebble-beach-week-2007-concept-and-debut-wrapup/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/08/astonmartindbs---11_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/pebble-beach-week-2007-concept-and-debut-wrapup/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/08/astonmartindbs---12_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/pebble-beach-week-2007-concept-and-debut-wrapup/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/08/astonmartindbs---2_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/08/21/pebble-beach-week-2007-aston-martin-dbs-brings-bond-to-the-comm/">Pebble Beach Week 2007: Aston Martin DBS brings Bond to the commoner man</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Tue, 21 Aug 2007 11:03:00 EST. The Aston Bond
will be driving in the upcoming movie <em>Casino Royale</em> will be this cover car called the DBS. Apparently based on
the V12 Vanquish, the DBS features a new front fascia and hood most likely fitted with multiple anti-bad guy devices. The Sports Pack will squeeze the last bit of performance from the already exemplary
coupe by using new five-spoke forged aluminum wheels, retuning the suspension stiffer springs and recalibrated dampers,
thickening the front stabilizer bar and lowering the ride height by 6mm. Inside Line also reports how far Aston is going
to lighten the DB9's load - it's got titanium nuts on its new wheels. No word on price yet, but expect
it to break your average Bond's bank.<br /><br />[Thanks to all for the tip]<br /><br />[Source: Inside Line]</p>
