A new bio-oil production facility is taking shape in Guelph, Ontario about 50 miles west of Toronto. Dynamotive Energy Systems is building the plant to produce 200 metric tonnes per day of oil from waste biomass. The first of eight production modules for the plant was installed last week. The mechanical construction of the facility is due to be completed in February. The plant will use a oxygen-free pyrolysis process to convert 66,000 dry tonnes a year of biomass into 130,000 barrels of oil. The
