<br />Porsche has announced pricing for its all-new <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/01/05/porsche-panamera-to-make-public-debut-at-shanghai-show-in-april/">Panamera luxury sedan</a>. The standard four-passenger, rear-wheel-drive Panamera S, fitted with a 400-horsepower, 4.8-liter V8, will start at a cool $89,800. Bumping up to the all-wheel-drive Panamera 4S with the same powerplant will set you back $93,800. The top-of-the-line AWD Panamera Turbo features a 500 hp, twin-turbo 4.8-liter V8, and a window sticker starting at $132,600. (The prices do not include an estimated shipping charge of $975.)<br /><br />Manufactured in Leipzig, Germany, the sedan is expected to compete with the Mercedes-Benz CLS (base price $71,575) and the upcoming <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/01/10/leaked-audi-sportback-concept-ahead-of-snowy-detroit-debut/">Audi A7</a> (due in 2010). In case you were wondering, Maserati charges $119,750 for its entry-level <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/07/09/video-2009-maserati-quattroporte-inside-out-and-upside-down/">Quattroporte</a> sedan. We'll get a better look at the upcoming Panamera at the Shanghai Motor show in April. According to the automaker, it is scheduled to roll into showrooms on October 17. <br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-porsche-panamera/low/">2010 Porsche Panamera</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-porsche-panamera/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/04/p09_0853_a5_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-porsche-panamera/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/04/p09_0854_a5_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-porsche-panamera/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/04/p09_0861_a5_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-porsche-panamera/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/01/p09_0447_a5-1280_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-porsche-panamera/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/01/p09_0433_a5-1280_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/porsche-panamera-interior/low/">Porsche Panamera Interior</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/porsche-panamera-interior/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/02/p09_0674_a5-1280_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/porsche-panamera-interior/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/02/p09_0658_a5-1280_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/porsche-panamera-interior/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/02/p09_0666_a5-1280_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/porsche-panamera-interior/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/02/p09_0667_a5-1280_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/porsche-panamera-interior/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/02/p09_0672_a5-1280_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br />[Source: <a href="http://www.autonews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20090213/ANA05/902139963/1078">Automotive News</a>, subs. req'd]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/02/14/porsche-panamera-pricing-will-range-from-89-800-132-600/">Porsche Panamera pricing will range from $89,800-$132,600</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Sat, 14 Feb 2009 12:09:00 EST. Along with its place among the Ultimate Driving Machines online, the 1-Series also gets officially pricing, which turns out to be <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/11/15/bmw-strike-officially-strike-accidentally-prices-135i-at-35/">exactly what we thought it would be</a>. The 135i will have an MSRP of $34,900 plus a $775 charge for delivery and all the whatnots involved with a purchasing a car. The 128i, meanwhile, will start at $28,600 and carry an identical $775 charge for destination and delivery. <br /><br />The 128i is powered by BMW's 3.0L inline-six producing 230 horsepower, while the top shelf 135i is motivated by the superlative twin-turbo 3.0L inline-six producing 300 HP. Both are, of course, rear-wheel drive, small, and relatively light weight at around 3,200 lbs. - the purest coupes from BMW we've seen in a while. We optioned up a 135i with everything and arrived at an MSRP of $48,995 (that's it above - how you like the Cashmere Silver Metallic?). Frankly, that's ridiculously expensive for a car this size, regardless of what wheels are being driven or the engine under the hood. Do you think they're worth the high asking price? Answer in our poll below.<br /><br /><p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/12/17/1-series-on-bmw-website-with-official-pricing/#poll7257">View Poll</a></p><br />Thanks for the tip, Boris!<br /><br />[Source: BMW]<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/bmw-1-series-leaked-pics/low/">BMW 1-Series Coupe</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/bmw-1-series-leaked-pics/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/09/bmw-1-series---01_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/bmw-1-series-leaked-pics/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/09/bmw-1-series---02_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/bmw-1-series-leaked-pics/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/09/bmw-1-series---03_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/bmw-1-series-leaked-pics/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/09/bmw-1-series---04_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/bmw-1-series-leaked-pics/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/09/bmw-1-series---05_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/12/17/1-series-on-bmw-website-with-official-pricing/">1-Series on BMW website with official pricing</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Mon, 17 Dec 2007 13:02:00 EST. It's a high-res studio-looking shot of the GT-R wearing the same covering we've seen so many times in spy shots. In fact, the GT-R has already been spotted on the Nurburgring wearing <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/09/25/but-wait-theres-more-nissan-gt-r-at-the-ring-gunning-for-th/">no covering at all</a>, just unpainted panels that poorly hide its front clip. <br /><br />Regardless, Nissan also released new information about the GT-R, including its base price, which will be around 7.8 million yen, or $68,000 USD. Now conversions from other currencies can hardly be trusted, but we think the Corvette start worrying now. <br /><br />We've also learned officially something we already knew, which is that the word "Skyline" has officially been dropped from the GT-R's name in <em>every </em>market in which it will be sold. Surprisingly, this includes Japan, where the Skyline name has a lot of history. <br /><br />Finally, Nissan revealed that it's setting up 160 Nissan High Performance Centers in Japan that will provide sales and support for the GT-R. <br /><br />According to the downloadable countdown clock on the <a href="http://www.gtrnissan.com/">GT-R's official website</a>, only 27.5 more days to go until the car's officially unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show in Japan.<br /><br />[Source: Nissan]<p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/09/26/nissan-gt-r-will-be-priced-from-around-68-000/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Nissan GT-R will be priced from around $68,000</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/09/26/nissan-gt-r-will-be-priced-from-around-68-000/">Nissan GT-R will be priced from around $68,000</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Wed, 26 Sep 2007 11:58:00 EST. Either way, you'll need to fork over some extra cash if stepping up to the new top model in Pontiac's G6 line up, the G6 GXP. The 2008 Pontiac GXP Coupe will start at $26,595 and the sedan version will base at $26,795. Both prices include a delivery fee of $650. <br /><br />If you're really daring, you can hand the dealer another $990 for the Street Edition Package that violates all manner of civilized taste. Included in the Street package is a "hammerhead" spoiler that could easily seat two for lunch, as well as all sorts of "scoops and bezels" on the hood. As far as we can tell the G6 GXP comes with that garish nose regardless of whether you choose the Street Edition Package. <br /><br />The front-wheel drive G6 GXP comes with GM's 3.6L V6 producing 252 horsepower and 251 ft-lbs of torque and a six-speed automatic transmission. That should be enough to squirt the car past that chuckling mob of onlookers, although push it too hard and torque steer might drive you right into them. The car's also feature a performance-tuned suspension and 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels. If you can't tell, we're not big fans of the G6 GXP's styling, but otherwise it's got some decent hardware to back up being labeled a GXP car. <br /><br />[Source: Inside Line]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/08/24/pontiac-prices-g6-gxp-from-26-595/">Pontiac prices G6 GXP from $26,595</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Fri, 24 Aug 2007 15:57:00 EST. The link takes you to a page where you can build your own 2009 Ford Flex. It appears Ford wants to know what you'd like on your Flex, so they're allowing the public to build their own and will analyze what's hot and what's not before the final production version appears. <br /><br />Pricing information is included when building your Flex, and while preliminary and far from official dogma, it gives us a general idea of where Ford's head is at concerning the cost of its Flex. According to the site, the base SE model that comes standard with Ford's corporate 3.5L V6 and six-speed transmission, foglamps and 18-inch painted aluminum wheels will start at $28,700 for front-wheel drive and $30,620 for all-wheel drive. <br /><br /><span style="font-style: italic;">Follow the jump for pricing info on other Flex trim levels, including the SEL and Limited for both FWD and AWD.</span><br /><br />Thanks for the tip, Tagg!<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2009-ford-flex/low/">2009 Ford Flex</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2009-ford-flex/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/04/flexc_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2009-ford-flex/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/04/flexb_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2009-ford-flex/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/04/flexa_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2009-ford-flex/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/04/flexd_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2009-ford-flex/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/04/09a_5134_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/08/03/2009-ford-flex-preliminary-pricing-starts-at-28-700/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>2009 Ford Flex preliminary pricing starts at $28,700</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/08/03/2009-ford-flex-preliminary-pricing-starts-at-28-700/">2009 Ford Flex preliminary pricing starts at $28,700</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Fri, 03 Aug 2007 16:57:00 EST. The Jamboree kids at Jeep would like to give the Wrangler some help, and as such they've decided to price the all-new <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/04/04/new-york-auto-show-all-new-2008-jeep-liberty-with-sky-slider-ro/">2008 Liberty</a> SUV below the outgoing model by an average of about $1,000. A base 2008 Jeep Liberty 4x2 will carry an MSRP of $20,990, which includes a $660 destination charge, when it arrives at dealerships later this summer. That's $1,270 less than the 2007 model, according to Jeep. The 4x4 model, meanwhile, will start at $22,600, or $1,170 less than the current model. Finally, the range-topping Limited model will start at $25,175 for the 4x2 and $26,785 for the 4x4. The Liberty's 3.7L V6 producing 210 horsepower and 235 ft-lbs. of torque will be a carryover from last year, but the new SUV can now be had with the industry first Sky Slider full-length open canvas roof for $1,200. <br /><br />You can view the new Liberty from a variety of angles in our gallery below, and check out Jeep's pricing press release after the jump.<br /><br />[Source: Jeep]<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-jeep-liberty/low/">2008 Jeep Liberty</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-jeep-liberty/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/09/08jplib_hi014_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-jeep-liberty/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/09/08jplib_hi013_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-jeep-liberty/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/09/08jplib_hi012_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-jeep-liberty/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/09/08jplib_hi011_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-jeep-liberty/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/09/08jplib_hi010_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/07/19/jeep-drops-price-of-2008-liberty-to-20-990/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Jeep drops price of 2008 Liberty to $20,990</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/07/19/jeep-drops-price-of-2008-liberty-to-20-990/">Jeep drops price of 2008 Liberty to $20,990</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Thu, 19 Jul 2007 15:02:00 EST. The <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-subaru-impreza/315640/">complete breakdown</a> of models and packages shows that the redesigned 2008 Impreza will have a base MSRP of $16,995 for a four-door sedan with the 2.5L boxer-four. That's a full $1,000 less expensive than the outgoing 2007 Impreza 2.5i sedan. <br /><br />At the other end of the spectrum, the WRX model with its turbocharged version of the 2.5L engine producing 224 horsepower will start at $24,350 for the four-door sedan and $24,850 for the five-door hatch. This model year's 2007 WRX TR (Tuner Ready) starts lower at $23,995, but is somewhat of a blank canvas car meant for customers who will immediately begin customizing their WRX. The base 2007 WRX sedan, however, starts at $24,995, meaning the 2008 model with its controversial new skin and upgraded interior will be $645 less expensive than the outgoing model. <br /><br />It appears that Impreza prices have dropped across the board, which should help satisfy potential defectors who aren't pleased with the new design. If you've got money in your pockets, the most expensive Impreza until the STi appears will be a five-door WRX model with the Satellite Radio and Navigation package that retails for $28,950. There will also be an Outback Sport version of the five-door hatch, though not the sedan, that starts at $19,995. Destination charges, don't forget, will raise the price of any model by $645. <br /><br />Click <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-subaru-impreza/315640/">here</a> to view the 2008 Impreza's complete pricing structure.<br /><br />Thanks for the tip, Sam!<br /><br />[Source: North American Subaru Impreza Owners Club]<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-subaru-impreza/low/">2008 Subaru Impreza</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-subaru-impreza/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/07/08pricing_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-subaru-impreza/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/04/000_ny07_wrxsedan---01_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-subaru-impreza/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/04/000_ny07_wrxsedan---02_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-subaru-impreza/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/04/000_ny07_wrxsedan---03_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-subaru-impreza/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/04/000_ny07_wrxsedan---04_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/07/17/2008-subaru-impreza-starts-at-16-995-wrx-at-24-350/">2008 Subaru Impreza starts at $16,995, WRX at $24,350</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Tue, 17 Jul 2007 12:37:00 EST. Their styling appears to take a page from the Chevy Venture book of design, which had us wondering if Chrysler could could keep them on top. Well, it looks like the Chrysler Group might have a few tricks up its sleeve to keep the crown, like offering better vehicles with more standard features for a lot less dough. They just announced the U.S. pricing for the 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town &amp; Country and the new minivan kings appear to be incredible values.<br /><br />According to the press release, the new vans will start arriving in dealerships in the fall "...with 35 new or improved features," along with the new 4.0L V6, six-speed transaxles, standard all-row side curtain air bags and Electronic Stability Program (ESP), all for about two grand less than the outgoing models. The Grand Caravan SE will start at $22,470 and the Grand Caravan SXT at $27,535. Over at Chrysler, the Town &amp; Country will be $23,190 for the LX, $28,430 for the Touring, and $36,400 for the Limited. <br /> <br />Full press release with more details can be found after the jump.<br /><br />[Source: Chrysler]<p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/07/12/chrysler-prices-2008-minivans-well-below-outgoing-models/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Chrysler prices 2008 minivans well below outgoing models</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/07/12/chrysler-prices-2008-minivans-well-below-outgoing-models/">Chrysler prices 2008 minivans well below outgoing models</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Thu, 12 Jul 2007 13:55:00 EST. The new price a bit more than the $26,670 base price of the current 2007 Freestyle SEL FWD, also including destination charges. While the Taurus X may cost more, it at least comes with a few upgrades to make the additional dineros worth it. For one, you get a shiny chrome badge that says "Taurus" on the back to replace the fugly "Freestyle" badge on current models. If that's not worth the extra cost of admission, Ford has also added its new 263-hp 3.5L V6 to the Taurus X, replacing the underpowered 3.0L V6 in the Freestyle its replacing. Plus, the Taurus X has dropped the Freestyle's CVT transmission, instead gaining a six-speed automatic to handle the new engine's extra ponies. Finally, the new Taurus X just looks more interesting than the current Freestyle with the corporate three-bar grille, new taillights and an updated interior. Honestly, we feel the Taurus X is a better bargain than the current Freestyle, and expect its sales number to either hold steady or grow depending on whether or not Ford decides to actually back up the vehicle with some marketing this time. <br /><br />[Source: Automotive News]<br /><br /><strong>Related posts:</strong><br /><span style="float: left;"><a target="_blank" href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/02/07/chicago-auto-show-2008-ford-taurus-x-unveiled/"><strong>Chicago Auto Show: 2008 Ford Taurus X unveiled</strong></a></span><br /><span style="float: left;"><a target="_blank" href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/02/07/fords-mark-fields-announces-bold-move-bring-back-taurus-and-sabl/"><strong>Ford's Mark Fields announces Bold Move: Bring back Taurus &amp; S...</strong></a></span><br /><span style="float: left;"><a target="_blank" href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/03/01/the-ultimate-taurus-rental-just-in-case/"><strong>The ultimate Taurus rental... just in case</strong></a></span><br /><span style="float: left;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/04/04/ford-prices-2008-taurus-at-23-995/" target="_blank"><strong>Ford prices 2008 Taurus at $23,995</strong></a></span><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-ford-taurus-x/low/">2008 Ford Taurus X</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-ford-taurus-x/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/02/chi07_ford-taurus-x---04_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-ford-taurus-x/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/02/chi07_ford-taurus-x---05_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-ford-taurus-x/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/02/chi07_ford-taurus-x---08_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-ford-taurus-x/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/02/chi07_ford-taurus-x---02_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-ford-taurus-x/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/02/chi07_ford-taurus-x---06_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/05/21/ford-prices-2008-taurus-x-from-27-365/">Ford prices 2008 Taurus X from $27,365</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Mon, 21 May 2007 18:59:00 EST. The reference is based more on the fact that the Altima Coupe is a looker just like the Infiniti G35 (soon to be G37) Coupe. According to Nissan, the new Altima Coupe will start at $20,490, excluding a $625 destination charge, making its style much more attainable than the significantly more expensive Infiniti coupe, and adding some substance to that "poor man's G35" label. <br /><br />The $20,490 base price will get you an Altima Coupe 2.5 S with a six-speed manual transmission. For $500 more, or $20,990, you can have a CVT transmission instead of the manual. Both cars feature the 2.5L four-cylinder producing 170 horsepower. It would be a shame, however, to pass up on the 270-horsepower, 3.5L VQ-Series V6 engine, which is available on the uplevel SE model. The Altima Coupe 3.5 SE with a six-speed manual tranny starts at $24,890. Again, add another $500 to make it $25,390 for a 3.5 SE with Nissan's CVT transmission. <br /><br />There are plenty of more packages and individual options available to inch the price of your 2008 Nissan Altima Coupe every upwards, all of which can be viewed after the jump.<br /><br />[Source: Nissan]<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-nissan-altima-coupe/low/">2008 Nissan Altima Coupe</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-nissan-altima-coupe/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/04/08altimacoupe---01_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-nissan-altima-coupe/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/04/08altimacoupe---02_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-nissan-altima-coupe/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/04/08altimacoupe---03_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-nissan-altima-coupe/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/04/08altimacoupe---04_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-nissan-altima-coupe/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/04/08altimacoupe---05_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/04/17/nissan-prices-the-2008-altima-coupe-from-20-490/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Nissan prices the 2008 Altima Coupe from $20,490</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/04/17/nissan-prices-the-2008-altima-coupe-from-20-490/">Nissan prices the 2008 Altima Coupe from $20,490</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Tue, 17 Apr 2007 13:32:00 EST. Keeping in mind that doesn't include a destination charge of $695, the pricing is clearly aggressive for this premium brand and makes the C30 Volvo's least expensive model. The base price will net you what Volvo calls a C30 Version 1.0 that comes standard with the turbocharged T5 five-cylinder producing 227 horsepower, a 160-watt stereo, 17-inch wheels, chrome exhaust tips, power windows and remote locking. Step up to the C30 Version 2.0 and you'll be paying $25,700, but will instead get a 650-watt stereo with 10 speakers and Dolby Pro Logic II surround sound, 18-inch alloy wheels, a bigger roof spoiler and the handsome sport body kit . You'll also be able to "special order" a C30 with your choice of 17 exterior and 12 interior colors, as well as 30 more accessory options. <br /><br />Both cars, by the way, come standard with a six-speed manual transmission. Ordering up an automatic will add $1,250. Other accessories include a navigation system for $2,120 (comes standard on Version 2.0) and Bi-Xenon gas discharge headlights for $700. Choosing any "special order" item will ding you with a one-time $300 charge, unfortunately. While the new C30 is clearly priced aggressively, the long list of optional "special order" items means that your cost out the door will rise rather quickly. <br /><br />Check out the entire price list for each option after the jump.<br /><br />[Source: Volvo]<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/volvo-c30-t5/low/">Volvo C30 T5</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/volvo-c30-t5/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/04/4860_2_1_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/volvo-c30-t5/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/04/4861_2_1_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/volvo-c30-t5/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/04/4859_2_1_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/volvo-c30-t5/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/03/volvo-c30_le_051_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/volvo-c30-t5/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/03/volvo-c30_t5_083_high-res_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/04/04/volvo-prices-c30-from-22-700/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Volvo prices C30 from $22,700</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/04/04/volvo-prices-c30-from-22-700/">Volvo prices C30 from $22,700</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Wed, 04 Apr 2007 09:14:00 EST. Remember, there are two models, the Sentra SE-R and the more powerful SE-R Spec V. The 2007 Sentra SE-R starts with an MSRP of $19,400. That model includes a 177-horsepower 2.5L four-cylinder engine and Nissan's Xtronic CVTO transmission. The 2007 Sentra SE-R Spec V, meanwhile, begins at just $500 more. With a base MSRP of $19,900, the Spec V sports a 200-horsepower version of the same motor paired to a 6-speed manual transmission. It also features bigger brakes, meatier tires and a sportier suspension than the SE-R model. <br /><br />Our question is why anyone would choose not to pony up the half grand for the more powerful and performance oriented SE-R Spec V model. We suppose the SE-R may appeal to those who can't drive stick or want a less expensive insurance premium, but should those people really be shopping for a high-performance econocar in the first place? Regardless, a sub-$20k base price for 200 horsepower sounds like a decent deal, though we expect options like the Audio Package, Sunroof Package, satellite radio, and helical limited-slip differential will quickly raise this car's cost of entry.<br /><br />[Source: Nissan]<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2007-nissan-sentra-se-r-spec-v/low/">2007 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2007-nissan-sentra-se-r-spec-v/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/03/07-my07sentra-10_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2007-nissan-sentra-se-r-spec-v/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/03/07-my07sentra-11_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2007-nissan-sentra-se-r-spec-v/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/03/07-my07sentra-12_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2007-nissan-sentra-se-r-spec-v/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/03/07-my07sentra-13_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2007-nissan-sentra-se-r-spec-v/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/03/07-my07sentra-14_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/03/09/nissan-prices-sentra-se-r-spec-v-below-20k/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Nissan prices Sentra SE-R Spec V below $20k</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/03/09/nissan-prices-sentra-se-r-spec-v-below-20k/">Nissan prices Sentra SE-R Spec V below $20k</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Fri, 09 Mar 2007 16:04:00 EST. Nissan signed a deal with Toyota back in 2002 to license its Hybrid Synergy Drive technology for use in the Altima Hybrid, but will be dropping the Toyota bits as soon as an in-house team can develop its own hybrid technology. Meanwhile, the Altima Hybrid will be sold with Toyota technology in only eight states, which include California and seven other northeastern states that have adopted California's strict emissions regulations. The 2008 Audi TT will start at $34,800 for a base 2.0T Coupe. The TT 3.2 Quattro model begins higher at $41,500. If you like your TT sans its top, a TT Roadster 2.0T will begin at $36,800, while the 3.2 quattro Roadster begins at $44,500. Destination charges are $720 for each model, and if you'd prefer the S tronic gearbox, also known as the DSG transmission in Volkswagen models, over the standard six-speed, add another $1,400 to your total. The highest base price for a TT then will be a 3.2 quattro Roadster with an S tronic transmission that costs $45,900. There will be lots of optional equipment ot push that price higher, however, like a DVD-based navigation system, the "magnetic ride" suspension, 18-inch weels, etc. The base prices seem fair to us considering that Audi appears to have successfully updated the original TT's beloved design while at the same time infusing the car with a bit more sporting prowess. All that optional equipment, however, will easily push the TT's price over $50,000. <br /><br />Check out Audi's official press release after the jump.<br /><br />[Source: Audi]<p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/01/29/audi-prices-2008-tt/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Audi prices 2008 TT</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/01/29/audi-prices-2008-tt/">Audi prices 2008 TT</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Mon, 29 Jan 2007 13:29:00 EST. The Escape will start at $19,245, including $665 for destination charges, which is $740 less than the base price of the current model. The Mariner begins at $21,345, again including $665 for destination, which is $460 less than the current model. Across each lineup, Escape prices will drop an average of $1,100 and Mariner prices $1,300. The hybrid versions of each model will also see their prices drop. The Ford Escape Hybrid falls from $26,320 to $25,740, while the Mariner Hybrid drops from $28,615 to $26,430. <br /><br />Obviously both the Escape and Mariner are all new for 2008, which means you're getting more for less if you've waited this long to buy either. <br /><br />2008 Ford Escape: $19,245 (inc. $665 destination)<br />2008 Ford Escape XLT V6: $22,545<br />2008 Ford Escape Hybrid: $25,740<br /><br />2008 Mercury Mariner: $21,345<br />2008 Mercury Mariner Hybrid: $26,430<br /><br />Follow the jump for the official press releases distributed today for both vehicles.<br /><br />Click <strong><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-ford-escape/">here</a></strong> to see a gallery of the 2008 Ford Escape.<br />Click <strong><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-mercury-mariner/">here</a></strong> to see a gallery of the 2008 Mercury Mariner. <br /><br />[Source: Ford]<p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/01/26/2008-ford-escape-and-mercury-mariner-priced-below-outgoing-model/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>2008 Ford Escape and Mercury Mariner priced below outgoing models</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/01/26/2008-ford-escape-and-mercury-mariner-priced-below-outgoing-model/">2008 Ford Escape and Mercury Mariner priced below outgoing models</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Fri, 26 Jan 2007 14:27:00 EST. Considering the Tundra can be had with your choice of 4x2 and 4x4 drivetrains, three cab styles, three wheelbases, three bed lengths, three engines, and three trim levels, there's a lot of pricing to go over so let's get to it. <br /><br />You can find all the prices that were provided to us by Toyota after the jump, but we'll relay the most important ones here. To start, the least expensive Tundra on Toyota's list appears to be the base Regular Cab with a five-speed automatic, the mid-range engine (a 4.7L V8 with 271hp/313 ft-lbs of torque) and a base price of $26,480. Conspicuously absent from this list are any V6 models, which would certainly lower the cost of entry for the Tundra a bit further. The most expensive Tundra model on the list is a Crew Max Limited with the 5.7L V8 and six-speed automatic that starts at $41,850. This particular Autoblogger doesn't go truck shopping very often, so we'll rely on your assessment of whether these prices are a steal or a sham. <br /><br />You'll also find Toyota's press release on the pricing announcement after the jump, in which is slipped a quick sentence that reads, "...the Regular Cab 5.7L 4x2 Long Bed model features a towing capacity up to 10,800 pounds." We hadn't noticed that spec before, so for those keeping score, that would put the Tundra's top towing capacity ahead of the Chevy Silverado at 10,500 lbs., but still behind the F-150, which was upgraded to 11,000 lbs. for 2007. <br /><br />[Source: Toyota]<br /><br /><strong>UPDATE:</strong> Corrected maximum towing capacity for Ford F-150.<br /><strong>UPDATE 2: </strong>The least expensive Tundra will be a 2WD V6 model, which starts at $22,395. The V6, however, will not be available in 4x4 models.<p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/01/24/toyota-tundra-pricing-released-and-btw-it-now-tows-10-800-lbs/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Toyota Tundra starts at $22,395 (and BTW, it tows 10,800 lbs.)</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/01/24/toyota-tundra-pricing-released-and-btw-it-now-tows-10-800-lbs/">Toyota Tundra starts at $22,395 (and BTW, it tows 10,800 lbs.)</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Wed, 24 Jan 2007 17:29:00 EST. The LR2 will carry a base price of $34,700 and reportedly be very well equipped at that price. A Tech Package with a DVD-based nav system, Dolby ProLogic II 7.1 Surround Sound System , Sirius satellite radio, rear seat audio controls and bluetooth connectivity will cost an additional $3,500. A Lighting Package with Bi-Xenons, Adaptive Front-lighting, Approach and Puddle lights, and memory settings for the driver's seat and mirrors will go for $1,050. Residents of chillier locales will appreciate the Cold Climate Package that adds a heated front windshield, heated front row seats (only two heating levels?!?!) and heated windshield washer jets that costs $700. A fully loaded LR2 with optional $400 Narvik Black Paint will tip the economic scales at $40,350. That's not cheap, but the LR2 has the looks, lineage and luxury appointments to command such a premium.<br /><br />[Source: LLN]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2006/11/30/land-rover-slaps-a-sticker-price-on-new-lr2/">Land Rover slaps a sticker price on new LR2</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Thu, 30 Nov 2006 13:59:00 EST. Uplevel XR models will start at $30,290 for two-wheel drive and $32,290 for all-wheel drive. All models will get General Motors' 3.6-liter VVT V6 that produces 270 hp and 248 ft-lbs. of torque in the base XE and 275 hp and 251 ft-lbs. of torque in the XR thanks to a dual exhaust system. Both engines are paired up with GM's new six-speed automatic transmission, which from what we've heard is a slick shifter. We also now know you can order up your Outlook with options like ultrasonic rear parking assist, a power lift gate, remote start, heated windshield washer fluid, a DVD entertainment system and DVD navigation. <br /><br />For those concerned that a 8-passenger crossover might be a fuel hog, you'll be surprised to learn that the EPA estimates for the Outlook aren't that bad. Saturn tells us that two-wheel drive models should get 18 mpg city/26mpg highway and four-wheel drive models 17 mpg city/24 mpg highway. We do expect the Outlook to eventually offer a V8 underhood, at which time those numbers will drop considerably. However, GM has a lot of technology available of which the Outlook could potentially avail itself, including a <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2006/01/09/detroit-auto-show-gm-debuts-chevy-tahoe-hybrid/">two-mode hybrid system</a> that will be introduced in the Tahoe soon. Such a system would presumably work in the Outlook and its platform mates, the GMC Arcadia and Buick Enclave, returning better fuel mileage than the Tahoe hybrid thanks to its lower weight. Seems like this type of large vehicle would also be a prime candidate for a light-duty diesel engine.<br /><br />GM and Saturn are certainly being very aggressive with the Outlook's price, which we expect will be the least expensive of the three Lambda-based models. The Saturn Outlook's $28,000 base price is low enough even that people considering a Ford Edge, which <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2006/09/20/ford-edge-will-start-under-26k/">starts at just below $26,000</a> for a two-wheel drive model, will likely be attracted by the Outlook's extra row of seats. <br /><br />You can check out GM's full press release on the Outlook's pricing after the jump.<br /><br />[Source: General Motors]<p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2006/10/26/saturns-outlook-to-start-at-27-990/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Saturn Outlook to start at $27,990</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2006/10/26/saturns-outlook-to-start-at-27-990/">Saturn Outlook to start at $27,990</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Thu, 26 Oct 2006 10:22:00 EST. Add destination costs and Automotive News <a href="http://www.autonews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20061010/REG/61010019/1003/rss01&amp;rssfeed=rss01">reports</a> the number's more like $15,365. That cost of entry includes a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that musters 140 horsepower and 6-speed manual transmission. Four other models are available including the Sentra 2.0 with CVT ($15,550), Sentra 2.0S with 6-speed manual ($15,650), Sentra 2.0S with CVT ($16,450) and Sentra 2.0SL with CVT ($18,400). The 2.0-liter four is the only engine available, that is, until the Sentra SE-R returns with a more potent mill for performance enthusiasts. If you're interested in the standard Sentra, however, it's available as of today. <br /><br />Nissan's full press release can be found after the jump...<br /><br />[Source: Nissan]<p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2006/10/10/nissan-prices-the-new-sentra-from-14-750/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Nissan prices the new Sentra from $14,750</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2006/10/10/nissan-prices-the-new-sentra-from-14-750/">Nissan prices the new Sentra from $14,750</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Tue, 10 Oct 2006 17:04:00 EST. The S80 3.2 I6 will start at $38,705 and the S80 V8 will begin at $47,350. The 3.2 I6 model features the Scandinavian brand's new in-line six-cylinder engine that develops 235 horsepower and 236 ft-lbs. or torque and is available only in front-wheel drive, while the V8 model packs a 4.4-liter eight-cylinder producing 311 horsepower and 325 ft-lbs of torque with all-wheel drive standard. Both cars shift via a 6-speed auto with Geartronic sequential shifting. <br /><br />Volvo is expecting about 45% of S80 sales to come from the U.S. and Canada, which sounds about right to us as this sedan is shaping up to be a worhty contender. It's also worthy to note that while it's true the S80 desperately needed a more robust powerplant in the form of a V8 to compete in this segment, the price of the top-end model is now nearly $8,000 more than the outgoing model that was powered by a 208-hp, turbocharged inline five-cylinder. Of course, the new, less expensive 3.2 I6 model easily outguns that old five-banger in every category for nearly the same price (MSRP of 2006 Volvo S80 2.5T AWD is $39,360). The price of the S80 V8 also comes in far below the base sticker of other import V8 luxury sedans like the Audi A6 4.2, BMW 5-Series with the 4.8-liter V8 and Lexus GS430. <br /><br />Read Volvo's press release after the jump...<br /><br />[Source: Volvo]<p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2006/10/10/volvo-slaps-sticker-on-new-s80/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Volvo slaps sticker on new S80</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2006/10/10/volvo-slaps-sticker-on-new-s80/">Volvo slaps sticker on new S80</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Tue, 10 Oct 2006 12:26:00 EST.
