RM Sotheby's has consigned for its upcoming New York auction a rare 1962 Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato - expected to sell for over $16 million - along with notable classics from Ferrari, Bugatti, Siata and Lamborghini.

In love with the classic DB4 GT? You're in good company. The first of a series of collaborations between Aston Martin and Zagato is one of the most beautiful automobiles ever made. But getting your hands on one would not be a cheap proposition.

Every year Bonhams holds an auction in the hallowed halls of Aston Martin Works, the restoration shop on the site of the company's old Newport Pagnell factory. A number of rare and significant Astons crossed the block at the recently expanded facility.
