If the performance of its cars doesn't kick you in the gut, the prices will likely induce at least some swooning. A better use for this barf sack - which appears to just be an inside joke to the folks at Sant'Agata - would perhaps be toting the finest of chocolates. Too bad that they're out of stock (probably forever), so even if you wanted to toss your cookies into what's undoubtedly one of the highest performance puke diddies available, it's not possible. The time honored tradition of hanging your head out the side window after a particularly hot lap in, say, the Reventon is always an option, though. We wonder if they offer napkins?

[Source: Lamborghini via Motor Trend]

April Fools already?
Now you don't have to leave the lovely visage of your favorite ponycar languishing in the dark of the garage anymore. California Car Cover Company is offering shelves that pay homage to Shoebox Chevies, '59 Caddies, C3 Corvettes and '65 Mustangs, so you now have a boomeriffic place to stash various and sundry little bits that would otherwise clutter a more pedestrian shelf. Prices range from $19.99 to $79.99, far less than even a set of sparkplugs for the old clunker that's spent the last decade and a half leaking on your driveway, and we bet that it'll take less time to mount one of these to the wall than it will to get that old Quadrabog rebuilt and tuned.

Making your DeLorean into a replica of the movie car: incredibly lame. Halfway between would be a reproduction flux capacitor. If you did buy this thing, you could certainly attain full lameness by installing in in your non-DeLorean.

There were talented people working in the entertainment industry to dream up those iconic vehicles of the 1980s like KITT, the BTF DeLorean and the A-Team van. Those cars have staying power with a generation of enthusiasts, but dressing up your car to match a prop is akin to putting on your C-3PO finery to go see Episode III. If you must have it for your '96 Neon, climb the stairs from your basement lair and ask your mom for $220 for what equates to a couple of lights in a box. Hey, Christmas is coming, if you jump up and down and stomp like you did in '85, you'll find this thing under the tree.

[Source: Engadget]
Get your Flux Capacitors right here! originally appeared on Autoblog on Mon, 10 Dec 2007 16:55:00 EST. Perhaps because it's about as funky as this little white purse. Saab teamed up with fashion designer Osman Yousefzada to create "The Little White Purse." The impetus behind the lash-up is to reduce the approximately one day per year the average woman spends digging around for her keys. This from the car company that mounts the ignition lock on the floor. It costs about $150, and is constructed of Italian leather and a nice, heavy silver plated chain. The compact purse (isn't it always the case, the more you spend, the less you get when you're buying designer goods?) can fit inside another purse, be worn as a necklace, or used as a torture device. Like any good exclusive Euro accessory, the Little White Purse isn't available in the US, but you can order it through the Saab UK website. We have two more pictures of the purse in action on the arm of a young woman after the jump.

[Source: gizmag]

Continue reading Another answer to an unasked question: Saab's Little White Purse

Another answer to an unasked question: Saab's Little White Purse originally appeared on Autoblog on Tue, 20 Feb 2007 19:32:00 EST. Apparently, though, there's an endless supply of reasons to ask, what the? These crazy kids with their tats and piercings and X-treme lifestyles are taking over the world. So it shouldn't come as too big a surprise that they would share their expressions of individuality with their favorite vehicular companions. And we're not talking about spinners and struts, or neon and cantaloupe launchers, we mean taking their rides to the extreme, just as they push, prod and poke their own bodies.

As automotive trends go, we're holding back on offering an opinion about just how cool this will end up being, but it has led to some very interesting vehicles. Obviously we've seen a lot of different takes on personalization, but this is taking things a bit further than most. Some Southern California dealers have even gotten into tattooing cars. But here we are talking about a young team of So Cal aftermarket entrepreneurs who have decided to focus on rings and studs. Available now, for the bumper of your choice, car piercings.

They come in a range of different finishes and designs, and are featured on the trend's own website, www.pierceyourride.com. The construction and installation seems fairly straightforward, maybe a weekend job. They make an already rugged-looking pickup look even tougher, and even do wonders for improving the look of the less macho Scions featured in the gallery. Check it out yourself.

Thanks to Austin for the tippage!
Car piercing: You've got to be kidding originally appeared on Autoblog on Tue, 03 Oct 2006 16:33:00 EST. The new line of wheels includes the 17-inch Almach, 18-inch Eridanus, 18-inch Armida, 19-inch Denebola and, the crown prince of Mercedes wheels, the 20-inch Alaraph (shown). The Alaraph wheel features a 10-spoke design and will be available at the end of October initially with a width of 8.5 inches fitting 255/35 R20 tires. Eventually Mercedes-Benz Accessories will release an even larger 9.5-inch wide version for the rear axle.

All incenio designer wheels are developed within strict tolerance levels to ensure they don't give your Benz a shimmy while cruising the autobahn at 130 mph. You can choose any color wheel, as well, as long as it's sterling silver. Their "lustrous shine" is protected, however, with up to four layers of paint.

(More pics and pricing after the jump)

[Source: Mercedez-Benz]
Continue reading Happy Feet: Mercedes-Benz announces incenio designer wheels

Happy Feet: Mercedes-Benz announces incenio designer wheels originally appeared on Autoblog on Mon, 11 Sep 2006 15:03:00 EST.
