The Pagani Zonda F Cinque seen here isn't a hybrid as in "green," it's a hybrid of the Pagani F and the Pagani Cinque. The car, slated to star at the Geneva Auto Show, is a one-of-a-kind Pagani simply meant to hold a place in our hearts while we wait for the Pagani Cinque to arrive next year.

The car hasn't been finished yet, but the Zonda F Cinque is essentially a Zonda F in Cinque colors. That means you'll miss the roof intake and lower aero modifications of the Cinque, but you'll get the carbon fiber and silver exterior treatment, and the spoked mags with red accents. That isn't much different than a decal package, but this is a Pagani and there will only be one of them, which means we still look forward to bringing it to you next week from Geneva.

UPDATE: We've heard from Pagani who claim that only the actual Zonda Cinque, the street version of the Zonda R, will be shown in Geneva. Seems this Zonda F Cinque was just a rumor. We'll find out the truth soon next week when we touch down in Switzerland.

We reported earlier that the Pagani Zonda topped the Carrera GT's record time around the Nurburgring with a time of 7:27.82. The best we could offer for a visual presentation was a small photo, but now supercarmovies.com has posted a full video of the lap in high quality format on their web site. It might look very similar to the Zonda F it's replacing, but in truth, there's only about 10% carryover from Horacio Pagani's previous creation to his latest. No matter. Awesome is awesome, regardless of everything else, and the Zonda R belongs next to the term in the dictionary. As these latest computer renderings show, the carbon fiber-bodied Zonda R looks like some kind of formidable stealth weapon. Unfortunately for drivers, it most certainly is NOT invisible to radar, and this 7.3-liter, 750 horsepower, 523 lb-ft beast is more than capable of lighting up police-issue units with ridiculous numbers. Power is directed to the wheels via a six-speed sequential gearbox. Autogespot puts the price at around €2 Million (in the Netherlands, including taxes), which means it will be garage ornamentation for a very select few.

This thing looks like it could go out and compete at Le Mans out of the box., and for €2,000,000, maybe Pagani should throw in a pit crew, too. Enjoy the five new renderings like the one above that we've added to the gallery.

Nick Hall, one of our favorite scribes that crosses the print and digital divides, penned an obit to the Pagani Zonda, which will be ending its production run later this year. Only five more Zondas will be built and all are likely spoken-for, crushing the hopes of the overtly-wealthy and lottery hopefuls alike.

The next Pagani will probably debut in Geneva next year, and we'll be there for the unveiling. In the meantime, check out Mr. Hall's entry over at the Jalop, and raise a glass to one of the greatest supercars of our generation.
