<div style="text-align: center;"><em><strong><small>2010 Nissan 370Z Yellow - Click above for image gallery</small></strong></em><br /></div>
<br />American fans of Nissan's fantastic new 370Z can order their cars in Chicane Yellow, but up until now, their counterparts in Blighty have been out of luck if they've wanted a sunburst Z of their own. Until now. That's because Nissan UK has cooked up a special new limited-edition (if unimaginatively named) 370Z Yellow. <br /><br />Apparently inspired by the Japanese automaker's European GT4 series racers, all Yellows will receive 19-inch forged RAYS alloys, a black leather and suede interior, along with illuminated door sill plates, special floor mats, and so on. Did we mention the bespoke lower body graphics? They remind us of less subtle, billboard-sized versions of the graphics packages on certain Porsche 911s.<br /><br />Nissan assures that there will be a "strictly limited volume" of Yellows for sale in the UK, with "exclusivity guaranteed." But tellingly, perhaps, the company isn't divulging just how many it plans to produce in the model's press release (available after the jump). If you're interested, prepare to shell out<span style="font-style: italic;"> </span>&pound;31,650 (nearly $52,000 USD)<br /> for a six-speed manual or &pound;33,050 for the automatic (just over $54,000 USD - as usual, bear in mind the UK's comparatively inflated pricing structure for new cars). <br /><br style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;" /> <span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;"></span><br /> <div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-nissan-370z-yellow/low/">2010 Nissan 370Z Yellow</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-nissan-370z-yellow/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/07/2010-nissan-370z-uk-yellow_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-nissan-370z-yellow/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/07/2010-nissan-370z-uk-yellow-(1)_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-nissan-370z-yellow/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/07/2010-nissan-370z-uk-yellow-(2)_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-nissan-370z-yellow/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/07/2010-nissan-370z-uk-yellow-(3)_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-nissan-370z-yellow/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/07/2010-nissan-370z-uk-yellow-(4)_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/07/02/ukdm-nissan-370z-yellow-a-special-edition-homage-to-europes-g/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>UKDM Nissan 370Z 'Yellow' is a special-edition homage to Europe's GT4 series</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/07/02/ukdm-nissan-370z-yellow-a-special-edition-homage-to-europes-g/">UKDM Nissan 370Z 'Yellow' is a special-edition homage to Europe's GT4 series</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Thu, 02 Jul 2009 19:56:00 EST. But revealing as those blueprints are, they still require some degree of imagination. Fortunately, the guys over at GlobalMotors.net have precluded the need for imagination by coloring inside the lines for us and providing a batch of renderings that give us a preview of what the 370Z Roadster will look like when it hits the roads later this year. Follow the link to check 'em out, with our thanks to Andrus for the tip.<br /><br />[Source: <a href="http://www.globalmotors.net/rendered-speculation-2010-nissan-370z-roadster/ ">GlobalMotors.net</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/01/22/coloring-inside-the-lines-nissan-370z-roadster/">Coloring inside the Lines: Nissan 370Z Roadster</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Thu, 22 Jan 2009 11:20:00 EST. <br />The new <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/11/19/la-2008-nissan-debuts-all-new-370z/">2009 Nissan 370Z</a> touts improved power, efficiency, handling and updated sheet metal for under $30,000. That makes the 370Z a bit of a performance bargain, and when you consider improved fit and finish, lighter weight and impressive new technology upgrades, Z fans should be plenty happy. While it's nice to see high resolution pics of the new car, we like to see how it looks out on the road, as well. <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/11/20/video-nissan-370z-doing-its-thang/">Follow the jump</a> to check out Nissan's rolling stock footage, which contains plenty of shots of the 370Z out on twisting paths. There are also several diagrams that spell out how upgrades like Nissan's variable valve and SynchroRev Match tech works.<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/la-2008-2009-nissan-370z-live/low/">LA 2008: 2009 Nissan 370Z LIVE</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/la-2008-2009-nissan-370z-live/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/01_2009_370z_live_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/la-2008-2009-nissan-370z-live/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/02_2009_370z_live_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/la-2008-2009-nissan-370z-live/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/03_2009_370z_live_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/la-2008-2009-nissan-370z-live/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/04_2009_370z_live_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/la-2008-2009-nissan-370z-live/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/05_2009_370z_live_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-nissan-370z/low/">2010 Nissan 370Z</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-nissan-370z/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/01_2009_370z_press_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-nissan-370z/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/02_2009_370z_press_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-nissan-370z/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/03_2009_370z_press_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-nissan-370z/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/04_2009_370z_press_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-nissan-370z/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/11/05_2009_370z_press_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br />[Source: <a href="http://www.road2road.com/index.php?showid=488">Road2Road</a>]<p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/11/20/video-nissan-370z-doing-its-thang/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>VIDEO: Nissan 370Z doing its thang</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/11/20/video-nissan-370z-doing-its-thang/">VIDEO: Nissan 370Z doing its thang</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Thu, 20 Nov 2008 17:42:00 EST. <p>Nissan dropped the final cover off its all-new 2009 370Z at the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/category/LA-Auto-Show/">LA Auto Show</a> today. While we've been looking at pics of the two-place coupe since <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/29/officially-official-nissan-drops-370z-ahead-of-la-debut/">last month</a>, today Nissan gave us pricing (base MSRP of $29,930) and a slew of technical info at the roll-out (follow the jump for the details). Regardless of how you feel about the new styling, it will be hard to dismiss the significant improvements Nissan made to the interior of the new car. The materials, fit, and finish are all excellent... especially if you compare the new car to the old side-by-side. Addressing poundage (another significant complaint about the previous-gen 350Z), Nissan put the new car on a serious diet. Paying close attention to the little things, engineers dropped several hundred pounds off the curb weight compared to the outgoing 350Z. The svelte standard model with a 6-speed manual now tips the scales at just 3,232 pounds (the 2008 350Z Enthusiast Model was about 3,350 pounds). More power, a stronger chassis and a much improved interior. Enthusiasts will find a lot to like with the new model.</p>

With the current "Zed" getting a bit long in the tooth after five years of diligent service, and the recent speculation surrounding the next iteration, the image above confirms <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/06/07/bring-back-the-240-nissan-developing-new-sports-coupe-redesign/"><em>Autocar</em>'s initial report</a> that the next Z will be keeping the general shape of the outgoing model, but with a more smoothed out appearance. Then again, this looks like a scan from one of the dozens of speculation-happy Japanese mags that come out every week, so we're not holding our breath.<br /><br />Naturally, with an appearance upgrade, changes under the hood are all but assured, and the smart money seems to be on the 3.7-liter VQ-series V6 that's currently found beneath the bonnet of the new G37/Skyline.<br /><br />The obvious question remains, when will Nissan unveil the next-gen Z? We would like to think it would be at this year's Tokyo Motor Show, but with the unveiling of the production GT-R and a rumored Silvia-replacement concept, we doubt they'd want to blow it all on one show. Frankfurt? Geneva? Detroit? We'll be waiting, as always.<br /><br />[Source: GT Channel]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/06/14/rendered-speculation-2009-nissan-370z/">Rendered speculation: 2009 Nissan 370Z</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Thu, 14 Jun 2007 10:33:00 EST. Like many of us do, he was online browsing eBay Motors one day when he stumbled across a car that caught his eye: a blue '76 Datsun 280 Z. He wound up bidding on the car, which did not meet reserve and never wound up being sold. He stayed in touch with the owner, however, and eventually convinced him to sell the car to him. <br /><br />The Talon project car was quickly parted out for funds, and "Devnulled" hopped a plane from his home state of Colorado to Sacramento, where the Z car lived, so he could bring it home. The seller, incidentally, was the second owner of the car, but it had not left the same family for over 23 years. It had 82,000 miles on the odometer and been maintained by a local Z mechanic. Apparently, said mechanic did a good job through the years, as the Z made the 800-mile trip across the desert and through the mountains back to Colorado without incident. In fact, "devnull" made enough money playing cards in Nevada to cover the tax on it. Perhaps the car brought him good luck.<br /><br />Going forward, he plans to improve the car's performance without molesting its classic good looks. Good idea, we say. As it stands now, it's a very worthy Reader Ride of the Day.<br /><br />Follow the jump for a list of current and planned modifications, as well as two more photographs and instructions on how to submit your own car for consideration.<br /><br /><p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2006/12/20/rr-of-the-day-1976-datsun-280z/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>RR of the Day: 1976 Datsun 280Z</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2006/12/20/rr-of-the-day-1976-datsun-280z/">RR of the Day: 1976 Datsun 280Z</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Wed, 20 Dec 2006 08:34:00 EST. The above image is part of a short video clip that Edmunds put together to illustrate what changes will likely find their way to production.<br /><br />The design is an evolution of the current model's silhouette, which smoothes out some of the coarse lines, sharpens the headlights and adds more pronounced wheel arches to accommodate a wider track. Within those wheel-wells, expect to find a slightly softened suspension that will give the new Z a more forgiving ride, hopefully without losing its tarmac molesting abilities. Hopefully Nissan will be careful not to add too many pounds in the process, as the Z car is not known for being light on its feet. <br /><br />Much like the exterior, the interior will benefit from a few focused design tweaks, mainly centered on ergonomic and material improvements, with the addition of more storage space and, generally, a more refined cabin.<br /><br />Since the VQ35 3.5-liter V6 remains one of the most capable sixes available, the only change that will take place under the hood is an increase in power, upwards of 325 HP, while still retaining its beefy torque curve.<br /><br />Edmunds speculates that the new Z will make its debut at dealers in late 2008, as a 2009 model.<br /><br />[Source: Inside Line]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2006/10/11/how-will-nissan-update-the-aging-z-car/">How will Nissan update the aging Z-car?</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Wed, 11 Oct 2006 14:56:00 EST.
