<br />
There are 29 Ferraris in Forza Motorsport 3, from the 1964 Ferrari 250 GTO to today's 599 GTB. And just for good measure, the kind folks at Forza threw in a few dream(ier) rides, including modern FIA GT cars, as well as the F40 and F50 Competizione models. You want more? Done. You'll be able to download the all-new <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/tag/Ferrari458Italia/">Ferrari 458 Italia</a> just in time for the holidays.<br />
<br />
Ah, but what if you don't have an XBox? If you're one of the scores of devoted Gran Turismo fans, you won't be left out in the cold. Polyphony Digital is also including the brand new Fezza in GT5, and in an apparent game of one-upmanship, the GT camp and the Forza family have released their own Ferrari teasers. Check out all three videos after the jump and get another eye-full in the Forza gallery below.<br />

If so, you got the electronics part right at least: Audi has created a virtual world for its e-tron electric car that will be featured in Playstation Home later this year.<br /> <br /> The action takes place in Audi Space, the digital realm that Audi has built inside the Playstation Home online community. The car is featured in the Vertical Run driving game, featuring a track with enough dimensions to impress Speed Racer. The point of the game is to gather enough electrical energy to get the highest top speed, and if you're one of the best, you'll get one of the skyscraper apartments in Audi town.<br /> <br /> It will probably be the closest anyone will get to driving an e-tron for years -- if ever -- so if you're an Audi-phile who's been looking for a reason to buy a PS3, here's your card. For the full scoop, check out the press release after the jump, and you can see the car again in the gallery of high-res photos below.<br /> <br /> <br /> <div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/frankfurt-2009-audi-e-tron-concept/low/">Frankfurt 2009: Audi e-tron concept</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/frankfurt-2009-audi-e-tron-concept/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/09/01-audi-e-tron-live_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/frankfurt-2009-audi-e-tron-concept/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/09/02-audi-e-tron-live_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/frankfurt-2009-audi-e-tron-concept/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/09/03-audi-e-tron-live_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/frankfurt-2009-audi-e-tron-concept/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/09/04-audi-e-tron-live_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/frankfurt-2009-audi-e-tron-concept/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/09/05-audi-e-tron-live_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br /> [Source: Audi]<p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/09/21/want-to-take-the-audi-e-tron-for-a-test-drive-grab-your-playsta/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Want to take the Audi e-tron for a test drive? <br />Kitschy titles like<span style="font-style: italic;"> Mario Kart</span> aside, Nintendo's Wii console has never attempted to earn the driving clout that Sony's Playstation and Microsoft's xBox consoles so vehemently compete for. That could change, to some degree at least, with the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/04/25/codemasters-releases-details-for-upcoming-f1-games/">upcoming release of F1 2009</a> from the racing simulators at Codemasters. The game is set to be released shortly, and to preview, Codemasters has released video footage of gameplay at the Valencia track where the real Formula One circus will be racing this coming weekend.<br /><br />To sweeten the deal, the Wii version will also come with an exclusive Race Wheel accessory which will presumably work like the wheel bundled with <span style="font-style: italic;">Mario Kart Wii</span>, but with a flat-bottom form factor styled to resemble an actual F1 steering wheel. The 2009 version will be released for Wii and Sony's portable PSP, but xBox 360 and PS3 gamers will have to wait for the more elaborate F1 2010 due next year. <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/08/19/codemasters-i-f1-2009-i-for-wii-launching-with-race-wheel-ac/">Follow the jump</a> to watch the footage.<br /><br />[Source: <a href="http://www.formula1-game.com/">Codemasters</a>]<p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/08/20/video-codemasters-i-f1-2009-i-for-wii-launching-with-race-w/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>VIDEO: Codemasters' <i>F1 2009</i> for Wii launching with Race Wheel</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/08/20/video-codemasters-i-f1-2009-i-for-wii-launching-with-race-w/">VIDEO: Codemasters' <i>F1 2009</i> for Wii launching with Race Wheel</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Thu, 20 Aug 2009 18:40:00 EST. <br />
If you've been trying to raise your high score on that iPhone or iPod Touch racing game but you just can't get your chi going without a steering wheel, this baby could be for you. Made by CTA Digital, you clip the phone into a holder, clip the holder into the wheel, and channel your Herr Schumacher. <br />
<br />
Splurge for the top-of-the-line model and the wheel is attached to a suction cup by an adjustable arm, and you can go past Schumi straight to Kwai Chang Caine -- that's straight up Kung Fu badness. We won't mention how it might make you look, but you're not worried about that, are you? In case you're wondering, though, you can get a glimpse in the video <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/08/10/steering-wheel-for-the-iphone/">after the jump</a>. <span style="font-style: italic;">Hat tip to James</span><br />

<br />The holidays come for auto freaks several times a year, and we call those times auto shows. But with the motor show calendar on break for the summer, we got an unexpected injection of octane from this year's E3 video game expo. As if it weren't enough to catch a glimpse at such promising upcoming releases as <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/06/04/sneak-peek-forza-motorsport-3/"><em>Forza Motorosport 3</em></a>, <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/06/02/video-gt5-trailer-released-gran-turismo-for-psp-coming-this-oc/"><em>Gran Turismo 5</em></a> and Codemasters' <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/06/04/video-codemasters-i-fuel-i-features-5-000-square-miles-of/"><em>FUEL</em></a>, we've now got another one to add to our shopping lists: <em>Need for Speed SHIFT</em>.<br /><br />Although previous installments of the NFS franchise focused on outrunning the po-po and tricking out imports, as our thumb-cramped compatriots over at <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/03/06/next-grid-joystiq-gets-hands-on-with-need-for-speed-shift/">Joystiq found out just this past March</a>, <em>SHIFT</em> promises to deliver a pure racing simulator. <br />Getting tired of driving over the same virtual circuits over and over again? Sure, it's a good way to get to know a track, but if can get tiresome. That's why Codemasters - the game studio behind <span style="font-style: italic;">DiRT, Grid</span> and the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/04/25/codemasters-releases-details-for-upcoming-f1-games/">upcoming F1 series</a> - is releasing <span style="font-style: italic;">Fuel</span>. <br /><br />The arcade-style racing game boasts a Guinness World Record for the most virtual terrain in any video game: a whopping 5,560 square miles of drivable turf. To design the digital turf layout, developers took the entire Western United States and put the best into the game, encompassing everything from city streets and desert highways to switchback country roads and snowy mountain passes, in all manner of weather conditions. <br /><br />The paddock of vehicles includes motorbikes, race cars and trucks, but they're all fictitious, so if you're looking for a realistic racing simulator, look elsewhere. If, on the other hand, you're looking for an old-school arcade game with a virtually endless array of tracks, this game's got your name written all over it. The software development company responsible for such favorite racing titles as DiRT, Grid and the TOCA series obtained the rights to make the game from Formula One Management, which previously licensed the rights exclusively to EA Sports and Sony. So while previous incarnations of the official F1 game were available only on Playstation systems (PS2, PS3 and PSP), Codemasters' new game will be available across all the major formats. So if you've got a current gaming console at home, you'll have a crack at playing the new F1 sim.<br /><br />Codemasters has revealed that the game will be released in two stages. First up is F1 2009, a simpler form of the game that will be available for Nintendo Wii and Sony PSP. F1 2010 will follow next year in high-definition format for Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PCs, taking full advantage of online gaming communities for head-to-head competition over the internet. Lewis Hamilton, whose contract with Sony expired in 2006 along with their exclusive rights to the game, will be headlining the new Codemasters franchise. look for the game to include all the latest F1 tech, including KERS, slicks, the latest aero rules, and all the latest tracks, including Singapore (above), Valencia and Abu Dhabi. It's times like these we're thankful that we work from home.<br /><br />[Source: <a href="http://www.autosport.com/news/grapevine.php/id/74706">Autosport</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/04/25/codemasters-releases-details-for-upcoming-f1-games/">Codemasters releases details on upcoming F1 games</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Sat, 25 Apr 2009 17:01:00 EST. <br />When playing car racing video games, do you find yourself choosing vehicles or brands that you've owned in the past? We are definitely guilty as charged on this count, but it seems that this sort of logic works the other way too. People that play popular games like <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/tag/gt5">Gran Turismo</a> and <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/tag/pgr4/">Project Gotham Racing</a> have shown an affinity towards real-life vehicles that they used in the gaming realm. Subaru WRX or Mitsubishi Evolution anyone?<br /><br /><em>Financial Post</em> researchers recently conducted a brief study that put people in front of gaming consoles running car racing simulators. Other people were placed in separate rooms where the games were being broadcast, but not played. Afterward, both groups were surveyed, and the results were eye opening. Those that played the video games responded that they were 50% more likely to purchase vehicles that they used in the video games than those that just watched.<br /><br />Sure, these results don't necessarily prove anything, but <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/03/citroen-gt-concept-now-available-on-gt5-prologue/">automakers</a> and advertisers have certainly taken notice. Current estimates put the in-game advertising market at $1.8 billion within the next few years.<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/gran-turismo-5-prologue-2/low/">Gran Turismo 5 Prologue</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/gran-turismo-5-prologue-2/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/03/09_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/gran-turismo-5-prologue-2/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/03/08_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/gran-turismo-5-prologue-2/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/03/07_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/gran-turismo-5-prologue-2/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/03/006_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/gran-turismo-5-prologue-2/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/03/tamora_006_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br />[Source: <a href="http://www.financialpost.com/executive/story.html?id=1222045">Financial Post</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/02/09/study-says-driving-cars-in-video-games-builds-positive-brand-rel/">Study suggests driving cars in video games could lead to more purchases in real-life</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Mon, 09 Feb 2009 16:56:00 EST. <br />Imagine riding along in your family's car as a kid. Your hand is out the window and slicing through the air as you explore the concepts of drag and lift. As a child you might work that hand to rise and fall around the objects on the horizon, dodging treetops and ducking below bridges in the distance. Some German students apparently had this experience, and now they've taken that basic premise and added more cowbell. The result is Carcade, a scrolling video game concept that uses a webcam and laptop to scan the view out your car window and use it as the interactive background for a spaceship adventure. It recognizes and uses the objects in the view out your window as obstacles, instantly incorporating them into the action. It even adjusts game play speed according to vehicle speed. It's all pretty amazing work by the crew of Andreas Nicolas Fischer, Martin Kim Luge and Korbinian Polk. Watch the Carcade demo <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/08/carcade-concept-turns-passengers-view-into-video-game/">after the jump</a> and let us know if you wouldn't have liked to waste away your family's road trip playing this game.<p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/08/carcade-concept-turns-passengers-view-into-video-game/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Carcade concept turns passenger's view into video game</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/08/carcade-concept-turns-passengers-view-into-video-game/">Carcade concept turns passenger's view into video game</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Wed, 08 Oct 2008 19:28:00 EST. <br />The cloak on the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/09/23/once-more-with-feeling-citroen-releases-third-gt-teaser/">GT by Citroen</a> has been pulled back again to reveal a little more sheetmetal. Call us crazy, but we have the feeling this car is going to put the "Whoa, that's wild..." back into concept cars. This little corner shows off two vastly different personalities: look at the center structure and it could be any pleasant Frenchmobile -- a 2CV even; scan out to the sides, and it's got the kind of vicious appendages of a predator. Then there's that diffuser hanging out there like an arctic steppe, mirrors that are 18 inches long, and a tapered rear end that can't possibly stay planted without some aero aid on scaffolding. For all we know, the car could be hiding nine or ten other personalities, as well. We can't wait to see it.<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/sony-citroen-gt-teaser/low/">Sony/Citroen GT Teaser</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/sony-citroen-gt-teaser/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/09/citr_gt_6_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/sony-citroen-gt-teaser/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/09/citrogtcap03_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/sony-citroen-gt-teaser/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/09/citrogtcap06_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/sony-citroen-gt-teaser/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/09/citrogtcap05_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/sony-citroen-gt-teaser/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/09/citrogtcap04_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br />[Source: <a href="http://www.zercustoms.com/news/Citroen-GT-front-end.html">ZerCustoms</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/09/25/more-intensity-4th-citroen-gt-teaser-image/">More intensity: 4th Citroen GT teaser image</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Thu, 25 Sep 2008 14:55:00 EST. The in-game texture looks primo and the storyline sections are a nice mix full-motion and rendered video. We have no idea what the game involves yet, so we can only hope that EA has restored some of the buck-wild madness that was missing from <em>Need for Speed: ProStreet</em>. We do know, however, that not only have police chases returned, but the boys in blue appear to be driving... R34 Nissan GT-Rs. So if as the sultry voiceover in the trailers says, "This is all going to come crashing down," it looks like you'll have a whole lot of fun making rubble. <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/09/03/coming-to-a-console-near-you-need-for-speed-undercover/">Follow the jump</a> for the video, and check out the Need for Speed site for a couple more. <em>Thanks for the tip, catgirlshyla!</em><br /><br />[Source: <a href="http://www.needforspeed.com/undercover/media.action?id=Need%20for%20Speed%20Undercover%20Trailer-20080825034214033&amp;mediaType=video">EA</a>]<p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/09/03/coming-to-a-console-near-you-need-for-speed-undercover/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Coming to a console near you: Need for Speed: Undercover</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/09/03/coming-to-a-console-near-you-need-for-speed-undercover/">Coming to a console near you: Need for Speed: Undercover</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Wed, 03 Sep 2008 19:28:00 EST. Something about knocking a tenth of a second off our best time in the Mazda Demio was as addictive as air. Last Friday we spent an hour in front of the pre-production version of Midnight Club Los Angeles, and we've gotta admit... we're getting the itch for a PS3. Replacing several different cities for one highly detailed rendering of Los Angeles, the new Midnight Club is all about racing wherever you want -- in LA -- and however you want. Codemasters, however, is working with in-game ad firm Engage to take video game advertising to a new level by including a fully functioning eBay Motors marketplace in the developer's next racing title, <a href="http://www.racedrivergrid.com/?territory=EnglishUK">Race Driver: Grid</a>. Players in the game will actually buy and sell in-game vehicles using the eBay Motors service just like they would in real life. eBay Motors will also get a title race in the game called "The eBay Motors Mustang Muscle Series" in which they can drive the eBay Motors Mustang GTR concept car in San Francisco, Long Beach, Washington D.C. and Detroit. This type of next-gen in-game advertising should work well within the confines of Grid, since eBay Motors is widely visited and used by the type of person who might pick up the game. <br /><br />[Source: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/04/23/race-driver-grid-to-include-integration-with-ebay-motors/">Joystiq</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/04/23/race-driver-grid-to-feature-ebay-motors-marketplace-in-game/">Race Driver: Grid to feature eBay Motors marketplace in-game</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Wed, 23 Apr 2008 15:32:00 EST. While we think Alfa's take on arcade-style driving enjoyment is clever, it's not quite as cool as the G8's Spy Hunter recreation, which, as children of the era of excess, we were totally smitten with. Regardless, the expert driving Italy's newest hot hatch looks to have had a great time racing through all 11.1 kilometers of the Forest Track stage, which is actually Arjeplog, a town in Lapland, Sweden, and a popular European destination for winter automotive testing. This video makes us wish even more so that an official announcement regarding the Mi.To's hopeful trip across the Atlantic is impending shortly. <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/03/28/video-alfa-mi-to-asks-are-you-ready-to-play/">Follow the jump</a> to watch it. <br /><br />[Source: Youtube via <a href="http://www.autoblog.it/post/13270/alfa-romeo-mito-are-you-ready-to-play">Autoblog.it</a>]<p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/03/28/video-alfa-mi-to-asks-are-you-ready-to-play/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Video: Alfa Mi.To asks: Are you ready to play?</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/03/28/video-alfa-mi-to-asks-are-you-ready-to-play/">Video: Alfa Mi.To asks: Are you ready to play?</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Fri, 28 Mar 2008 08:28:00 EST. It was an oil-burning 32-passenger GMC that was ready for retirement by 1982. It was driven by Sarge. I'm not sure why she was called Sarge, but her demeanor definitely lived up to the moniker. Frequent exhortations to"<strong><em>SIT DOWN AND SHUT UP</em></strong>" kept us all in line. Nobody ever laughed when she ground the 2-3 upshift. Think you'd enjoy ruling passengers with an iron fist? You could go get the endorsement on your license and then hit the job market, or if that takes too much effort, just buy <a href="http://www.meridian4.com/games/BusDriver/index.html">Bus Driver</a>, the video game. <br /><br />Hey, at least it's still a driving game, but it's the staid, responsible version of gaming. Rather than speed around a track or create mayhem, your mission is to follow routes in your school bus, city bus or tour bus while picking up and dropping off fares. What fun, the replays must be enthralling. It could be worse, though - it's still a wheeled conveyance you're controlling rather than some Wiimote-powered silliness. We do wish that Meridian4, the game's publisher, had included the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/12/09/deloreans-stillborn-40-foot-bus/">DeLorean bus</a> that never got off the ground. <br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/bus-driver-the-video-game/low/">Bus Driver: The Video Game</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/bus-driver-the-video-game/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/03/07_busdriver_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/bus-driver-the-video-game/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/03/06_busdriver_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/bus-driver-the-video-game/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/03/00_busdriver_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/bus-driver-the-video-game/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/03/01_busdriver_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/bus-driver-the-video-game/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/03/02_busdriver_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br />[Source: <a href="http://news.windingroad.com/gadgets/gamer%e2%80%99s-corner-live-mass-transit-dreams-with-bus-driver/">Winding Road</a>]<br /><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/03/11/forget-gran-turismo-bus-driver-is-greatest-next-gen-driving-sim/">Forget Gran Turismo, Bus Driver is greatest next-gen driving sim</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Tue, 11 Mar 2008 09:01:00 EST. <p>The Gran Turismo series is one of the most successful franchises in all of gamedome, and the racing game's fifth installment will be available in Japan on December 13, just two weeks before Christmas. If that seems like a long time to wait for GT5's release, we have some good news. Demos of the game with the same great graphics as the final version will be sold on the Sony store, but they cost a despicable $43.10 on Blu-ray. If you want to go cheap, you can download the game from the Sony store for only $38.95. We remember back to a time when demos were given away for free to entice potential customers to buy the full version. If the demo is worth $43, we're sure that the full game will be worth skipping it in favor of the real thing, even if it takes until Christmas.</p>

Police have gotten very good at spotting, arresting, and prosecuting <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/05/05/paris-sentenced-to-the-pen-for-violating-probation/">offenders</a>, but many still slip through the cracks, and thousands of innocent people die in accidents as a result. In Germany, this major problem is being combated with urine. No, bodily fluids aren't being used to test blood-alcohol content. Instead, video game makers are converting drunken streams into a bathroom steering wheel. <br /><br />LCD screens located above urinal stalls display a video racing game that uses sensors inside the urinal to track the urinal stream, which steers the car. Quick reflexes are needed to "steer" the car through heavy traffic and objects (not the "mint" at the bottom), and when the gamer loses stream, the car crashes violently and the phone number of a cab company appears on screen. We can see a lot of people liking this game, as it passes time when you're at the stall. We just hope people don't start drinking more so they can get in more laps. At this time there is no word on whether a similar game is being made for women.<br /><br />[Source: InsideLine]<br /><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/08/11/german-drivers-urinate-in-the-autobahn-of-bathrooms/">German drivers urinate in the Autobahn of bathrooms</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Sat, 11 Aug 2007 13:52:00 EST. After all, we grew up playing with Transformers toys (the metal ones!), and in this digital age we're more interested in controlling our robots in disguise than watching them dance around on screen. <br /><br />From what we know, you'll be able to play the Transformers Game as either an Autobot defending the Earth or a Decepticon trying to detroy it. It would seem, then, that game features two campaigns, although we're hoping for a nice online multiplayer function, as well. <br /><br />We have some screenshots of the game, but you're going to want to <span style="font-weight: bold;">watch the game's trailer</span> after the jump. If you've been waiting to see Optimus Prime fly off a building and transform midair, your wait is over. <br /><br />[Source: IGN via <a href="http://jalopnik.com/cars/barricade-on-bumblebee-action/transformers-movie-update-video-game-first+look-257361.php">Jalopnik</a>]<div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/transformers-the-game/low/">Transformers: the Game</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/transformers-the-game/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/05/transformersgame7_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/transformers-the-game/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/05/transformersgame4_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/transformers-the-game/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/05/transformersgame3_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/transformers-the-game/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/05/transformersgame2_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/transformers-the-game/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/05/transformersgame5_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/05/03/video-transformers-the-game-aw-hell-yeah/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>VIDEO: Transformers the Game... aw, hell yeah!</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/05/03/video-transformers-the-game-aw-hell-yeah/">VIDEO: Transformers the Game... aw, hell yeah!</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Thu, 03 May 2007 14:57:00 EST.
