This. Is. Awesome. Autoblog reader Jason L. over at Second Method Graphic Design has been so kind as to share a couple of skins he's devised for both the Cadillac CTS-V Coupe and the McLaren MP4-12C in Forza Motorsports 3. Why do we care? Because these particular wraps are a tribute to a certain blog that obsessively covers the auto industry. Call us vain, but there's something cool about seeing our logo slathered all down the sides of two very lust worthy pieces of metal, even if they only live in the virtual realm.

Maybe we should talk to Cadillac about getting into a long-term tester with a similar theme. Something tells us that McLaren would be somewhat less receptive. Leder says that you can purchase either of the two designs through his Forza storefront for a nominal fee. The guy also has a slew of other very attractive liveries in case you don't feel like sporting your AB pride on your fenders. It's fine, we won't be offended. In fact, might we suggest The Simpsons-inspired Datsun 510 in Mr. Sparkle livery or the Ikea Saab 9-3?
The lovable Simpson's dad wll provide instructions in the usual Homer prose, including the usual references to food and general stupidity. The TomTom website has samples of Homer's unique direction-giving style on their website.

Homer is just one of over 70 different celebrity voices that are available on the TomTom website, and you don't need to buy a special edition nav unit to experience it. Registered users of TomTom devices can purchase Homer's voice online for only $12.95, but you'll have to download TomTom HOME on your computer if you haven't already done so.

We're guessing that there will be plenty of Simpson's fans that'll be more than happy to download Homer to their TomTom, but we're not sure how this will play out for the rest of us. After all, Homerisms are pretty damn funny, but when we hear the same things over and over again, the novelty wears out pretty quickly. Hit the jump to view the press release.

[Source: TomTom]
Continue reading Woohoo! Three new print ads have been revealed, showing Homer & Co. making the most out of the vehicle's features. The fully-reclining seats are perfect for stealing the Christmas tree off the City Hall lawn; the seating arrangement is comfortable enough to replace the couch as the primary tv-watching location; and the overhead storage bins are ideal for hiding Homer's secret fast-food stash. The Roger Rabbit-esque campaign puts the Simpsons in our world, instead of creating an animated Kangoo for them to drive. Since we're not a Renault market, we won't be seeing these ads in our next round of buff books. No matter. You can check them out in the gallery below.

[Source: Renault]

Gallery: The Simpsons love the Renault Kangoo

Doh!
