<a href="http://www.autoblog.com/porsche">Porsche</a> fettler <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/tag/ruf">RUF</a> is bringing six new products to the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/geneva-motor-show/">Geneva Motor Show</a>, showing off what it has in mind for the 991-model <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/porsche/911">911</a>. The company announced on its Facebook page that its 300-square-meter stand will showcase the "stunning CT", "rocket RT", "racer RG", "luxury RX", the "grandfather of RUF Turbo cars" as well as a surprise.<br />
<br />
The image above was surreptitiously <a href="http://www.autoevolution.com/news/ruf-ctr3-clubsport-leaked-43054.html">captured at the RUF shop</a> and is purported to be the new CTR3, hiding a 700-horsepower, twin-turbo flat six good for a sub-four second run to 62 mph and a 235 mph terminal velocity. It is shaping up to be a very good Geneva show.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2012/03/04/ruf-unveiling-six-new-models-in-geneva/">RUF unveiling six new models in Geneva</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Sun, 04 Mar 2012 12:03:00 EST. That makes it no less amazing, as the technical data pasted after the jump bears out. The CTR 3's bodywork is a RUF creation in aluminum and carbon fiber, and the earlier reports stating that the car is Cayman-based were probably a result of the automaker's use of the mid-engined Porsche coupe's taillamps. That's where it ends, however.<br /><br />The 3,746cc twin-turbocharged flat six produces 700 horsepower and over 656 lb-ft of torque, which, according to RUF, enables the CTR3 to run from zero to 62 mph in 3.2 seconds and max out at 235 mph. Shifts come courtesy of a six-speed sequential manual gearbox. The tall shifter is capped with a metal knob and features prominently in the Ruf's leather-lined cabin. 15" 6-piston ceramic-composite brakes fore and aft handle the task of stopping this rocketship. The brakes are tucked behind a set five-spoke wheels sized 19" in front and 20" in back. As much a supercar as the Enzo, Carrera GT, and SLR McLaren, the CTR 3 is priced accordingly at &euro;380,000 plus VAT. That's over $510,000 US dollars at the current exchange rate, and for the buyers who would consider adding one to their collections, it's probably worth every single penny.<br /><br />[Source: RUF]<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/ruf-ctr3">RUF CTR 3</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/ruf-ctr3/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/04/rufctr3_pr_hi_004_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/ruf-ctr3/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/04/rufctr3_pr_hi_005_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/ruf-ctr3/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/04/rufctr3_pr_hi_006_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/ruf-ctr3/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/04/rufctr3_pr_hi_001_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/ruf-ctr3/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/04/rufctr3_pr_hi_002_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/04/12/full-official-specs-new-photos-of-the-ruf-ctr-3/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Full official specs, new photos of the RUF CTR 3</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/04/12/full-official-specs-new-photos-of-the-ruf-ctr-3/">Full official specs, new photos of the RUF CTR 3</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Thu, 12 Apr 2007 20:50:00 EST.
