Honda Performance Development is making the move into privateer support by opening Honda Racing Line, a membership portal that will "include and array of products and services for Honda and Acura customers who compete in amateur and professional racing."

You can buy parts once you become a member of Honda Racing Line. To do that, you need to show membership in a nationally recognized sanctioning body, and you need to show race results - actual finishes - from two races in the past year. Get over those hurdles, and your name could join those of Andretti-Green and Patron Highcroft in the hall of legends. You can check out the full press release after the jump.

[Source: Honda]
Continue reading Honda Performance Development kicks off Grassroots Motorsports Initiative

Honda Performance Development kicks off Grassroots Motorsports Initiative originally appeared on Autoblog on Tue, 28 Jul 2009 11:00:00 EST. Some of the parts include carbon fiber and aluminum strut braces, 3.07:1 performance diffs, lowering kits, performance exhausts and a engine package for three-liter models that includes new camshafts and a modified ECU that boosts output to 235 HP and 222 lb.-ft. or torque.

All of the wonderful tidbits can be procured after the jump, and we'd suspect good things to come from the Bimmer boys when they release packages designed for the 335i and the upcoming 135i.

[Source: BMW]
Continue reading BMW USA offering factory performance parts, with full warranty

BMW USA offering factory performance parts, with full warranty originally appeared on Autoblog on Wed, 19 Sep 2007 08:56:00 EST. The dragracing and hot rod-oriented display also features a brand-new drag racing simulator that promises the "fullsensory experience of rocketing down the quarter-mile."

The Power Shop debuted this past weekend at"The Year One Experience" at Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia.

[Source: GM]
GM Power Shop hits the road originally appeared on Autoblog on Tue, 25 Apr 2006 14:03:00 EST.
