At the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/geneva-motor-show/">Geneva Motor Show</a> in March it debuted two models, the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/02/26/zagato-releases-addition-photos-of-diatto-ottovu/">Diatto Ottovu</a> and the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/03/06/geneva-motor-show-spyker-c12-zagato-wows-geneva-crowd/">Spyker C12 Zagato</a>. Today the company revealed that it's now collaborating with Maserati to produce the Maserati GS Zagato. The GS is a one-off commisioned by <a href="http://www.italtrade.com/spotlight/index.htm">Paolo Boffi</a>, a furnishings and luxury designer who apparently doesn't like to buy his cars off the shelf. It's inspired by the <a href="http://www.allsportauto.com/modules.php?name=Sportphoto&amp;zl_idMD=438">Maserati A6 G Zagato</a>, although only pics of the rear have been released, so we'll have to take their word on that for now. <br /><br />Based on the Maserati GranSport Spyder, the GS Zagato is two-seat touring hatch skinned with an all-aluminum body. Not much else is known about the car, so we can only assume it uses the same mechanicals as the Spyder, which means a 4.2L V8 producing 400 horsepower. Zagato loves to play dress up with other company's cars, and the GS Zagato is no different. It will make its official debut at the Concours d'Elegance Village d'Este in Itally next weekend. <br /><br />[Source: Zagato]<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/maserati-gs-zagato">Maserati GS Zagato</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/maserati-gs-zagato/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/04/fotovilladeste8_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/maserati-gs-zagato/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/04/fotovilladeste7_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/maserati-gs-zagato/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/04/fotovilladeste6_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/maserati-gs-zagato/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/04/fotovilladeste5_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/maserati-gs-zagato/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/04/fotovilladeste4_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/04/16/zagato-at-it-again-maserati-gs-zagato/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Zagato at it again: Maserati GS Zagato</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/04/16/zagato-at-it-again-maserati-gs-zagato/">Zagato at it again: Maserati GS Zagato</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Mon, 16 Apr 2007 16:58:00 EST.
