1BMW and PSA to continue small four-cylinder collaboration

The current-generation Mini uses a range of four-cylinder gas and diesel engines produced by a joint venture between BMW and French automaker PSA Peugeot Citroen and it looks like that will continue into the foreseeable future. The two companies' chairmen, Norbert Reithofer and Philippe Varin, signed an agreement today to continue the partnership and build new Euro-VI-compliant versions of the engines. The powerplants will continue to propel both Minis and various Peugeot and Citroen vehicles.
