Lamborghini to sell its wares on The Strip

Las Vegas is where the rich come to play and rich wannabes come to stay poor. Therefore, almost every luxury car brand imaginable has a retail shop there, including Ferrari. That's why it was surprising to learn that Lamborghini doesn't already have its own storefront on The Strip.

Automotive News reports that the Bolognese company will remedy Nevada's lack of Lamborghini-branded Christmas candles and €422 military Lamborghini boots soon with its very own Lambo boutique. The store and a Lamborghini cafe will be located within the Palazzo Casino, and will be part of the first Lamborghini dealership on The Strip.

Ferrari takes on Lamborghini in mobile phone battle

If Lamborghini can have its own mobile phone, we suppose it's only fair that Ferrari get one too. Introducing Motorola's MotoRAZR Maxx V6 Ferrari Challenge. With a V6, wouldn't that make it a Dino? No matter, because it does have 'the iconic prancing horse shield on the front and "Ferrari" in the company's easily recognizable font on the back. The phone turns on with the sound of a Ferrari Formula 1 engine revving.

It's available for pre-order from the Ferrari Store online for a mere $524 -- about the same price as the upcoming iPhone, but oh so much more, um, Italian. And it's about $1,200 cheaper than that Lamborghini phone which doesn't come with a red Ferrari leather case.

Have yourself a Lamborghini little Christmas

The Lamborghini Store has introduced their line of holiday-themed home decorations, allowing you to trim your tree with Lamborghini's ceramic globes in Murcielago's Grigio Telesto color with that famous bull and shield.

Or you can set the mood at your holiday parties with Lamborghini candles. Using the same Grigio Telesto shade, the candles feature slow-burning wicks and are embossed with the Lambo shield and "Buon Natale," Italian for Merry Christmas. We're not sure what they smell like though. Burning rubber? Expensive Italian leather? Money?

And if you haven't already sent your cards, Lamborghini offers its own line of Christmas cards with translucent yellow envelopes. Included in the box is a white pen with which to write your holiday greetings on the cards' black paper.
