8Kia Hotbots come back out to play with 2014 Forte

Kia is bringing back its so-called "hotbots," the slightly disturbing female robots that traipse about the uncanny valley while hustling the new Forte and "respecting the tech," for three new, humorous animated spots.

822014 Kia Forte sedan priced from $15,900*

During our recent First Drive of the 2014 Kia Forte sedan, Kia revealed many of the sedan's specs, but left out pricing and fuel economy for its all-new compact sedan. With the new Forte set to hit dealerships soon, Kia has announced the starting prices for the sedan's two initial trim levels and released the fuel economy for the EX trim level equipped with the bigger engine. Marking a slight $500 jump in price over the current 2013 model, the 2014 Forte sedan will have a starting MSRP of $15,90

87Kia debuts Forte 5-door with available 201-HP turbo engine

The US-bound 2014 Kia Forte first showed up in sedan form back at the LA Auto Show last year, but Kia unveiled the hatchback version of the car today at the Chicago Auto Show. Unlike the current Forte five-door the 2014 will feature styling that is distinct from its sedan counterpart, but the big news is it will also get a few extra ponies under the hood.

45Kia's second Super Bowl commercial lets booth professionals have their revenge

This is more like it, Kia. After last year's highly successful Adriana Lima-infused Super Bowl commercial for the Optima, we weren't that impressed with this year's Super Bowl ad for the new Sorento called Space Babies that Kia showed us earlier in the week. Its second spot for this year's big game, however, gave us a chuckle.

3Kia previews its Super Bowl baby commercial, far cry from Adriana Lima

We're going to go ahead and give Kia the benefit of the doubt – the automaker brought us a bathing-suit-clad Adriana Lima in its Super Bowl spot from last year. That kind of thing doesn't go unappreciated.

15Hyundai and Kia adding Google Maps API to nav systems

Hyundai's Blue Link and Kia's UVO infotainment systems will be adding three Google features: Send2Car, Point of Interest Search and Local Search by Voice. Send2Car lets travelers send destinations to their vehicle's navigation system from a computer or via a mobile phone app, and the POI and local searches are continuously updated in Google Places' database. The new data service integrations mean that drivers will have more access to more destinations and be able to find them more quickly.

1002014 Kia Forte is what's cookin', good lookin'

We've said it a billion times now, but man, Kias are sure looking good these days. And under the lights of the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show, we're getting our first look at the next chapter in the Korean brand's quest for beauty, the 2014 Forte sedan. We've given it a good once-over in the flesh, and honestly, it might just be the best-looking car in the C-segment class.

Following up on the dark and sinister Batman Optima that we saw revealed in New York City a while back, Kia has come to SEMA with a selection of super hero-inspired cars for your viewing pleasure.

15Kia mulling Forte production in US?

Since we already know what the 2014 Kia Forte will look like courtesy of the Kia K3 and Cerato, the big news at the car's official debut at the LA Auto Show could end up being where the car is built. Reuters is reporting that Kia is considering building the all-new Forte in the US, and while it didn't say which plant, we'd venture to guess the redesigned compact will be built alongside its sister car, the Hyundai Elantra, in Montgomery, Alabama.

222013 Kia Cerato (a.k.a. Forte) debuts at Chile's Santiago Motor Show

Kia has already released official images of its next-generation Cerato, but thanks to Chilean blogger Ramón Rivera Notario, we have our first live look at what will become the 2014 Kia Forte sedan. The new Cerato, also known as the K3 in South Korea, is currently on display at the Santiago Motor Show.

40Kia planning onslaught of new product

Kia is hard at work cranking out a rash of new models, according to Automotive News. The South Korean automaker has plans to launch a new 40-mile-per-gallon version of the Forte Koup in January 2013, and the two-door will likely be trailed by a new five-door hatchback and yet another larger coupe. The latter two will likely see dealers by next summer, though Kia says those of us waiting to get our hands on the new Quoris flagship will have to twiddle our thumbs until 2015 at the earliest. As you

110Redesigned 2013 Kia Forte sedan makes web debut

Kia has released proper photos of the coming 2013 Forte/Cerato and hints at the details to be found under the attractive new sheetmetal. As Kia tells us, this new Forte is plainly longer, lower and wider than the current model, and its longer wheelbase will provide more interior room, although we don't know how it compares to the current model or the competition.

35Kia shows off more of its next Forte

So far in the rollout for the 2014 Kia Forte we've had two helpings of sketches, now we get an artfully obfuscated look at the car's actual sheetmetal. Posting photos of the five-door hatch on its South Korean Facebook page (our Forte is the K3 in Kia's home market), what we can say so far is that it's got an attractive backside.
