The forthcoming sedan is undergoing cold weather testing in one of the world's most most inhospitable places in an effort to ensure the family man's Porsche's engine will still purr even on your worst winter morning. The car's appearance looks essentially the same as it has prior spy shots, which is to say that it's still ugly, yet it's still A Porsche. With possible plans for a <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/06/27/porsche-studying-targa-top-for-panamera-diesel-engine/">diesel</a>, <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/01/07/confirmed-porsche-panamera-to-come-with-hybrid-flavor/">hybrid</a>, V6, V8, and turbo V8 model on the table, the German automaker will likely be hanging out with Santa and Frosty for quite a while. Hit the jump to see the V8-powered Panamera as it traverses the white stuff. <br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/porsche-panamera-spy-shots/low/">Porsche Panamera - spy shots</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/porsche-panamera-spy-shots/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/07/panamera.pr.kgp.ed_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/porsche-panamera-spy-shots/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/07/panamera.fe.kgp.ed_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/porsche-panamera-spy-shots/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/07/panamera.re.kgp.ed_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/porsche-panamera-spy-shots/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/07/panamera.fc.kgp.ed_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/porsche-panamera-spy-shots/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/07/panamera.rc.kgp.ed_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br />[Source: <a href="http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/GeneralFuture/articleId=124756">Inside Line</a>]<p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/07/05/video-porsche-panamera-caught-testing-in-the-arctic-circle/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>VIDEO: Porsche Panamera caught testing in the Arctic Circle.</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/07/05/video-porsche-panamera-caught-testing-in-the-arctic-circle/">VIDEO: Porsche Panamera caught testing in the Arctic Circle.</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Sat, 05 Jul 2008 10:02:00 EST. While the SRX crossover is an <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/01/29/in-the-autoblog-garage-2007-cadillac-srx/">Autoblog favorite</a>, it isn't experiencing the kind of sales success as many of its rivals. </p>
<p>Cadillac appears to have another crossover up its sleeve and the spy photographers at KGP caught it testing with the Saturn Vue on which it's based. With the two vehicles next to one another, it's easy to see the similarities, but since the new model is destined to be a Cadillac, it's likely the two vehicles will share very few body panels. Although the BRX is heavily camo'd, we can see more angular lines, including a hard crease across the Caddy's profile, and the Vue's rounded rear appears to be gone as well. </p>
<p>The BRX will likely serve as Cadillac's answer to the <a href="http://autos.aol.com/cars-Acura-MDX/overview">Acura MDX</a>, <a href="http://autos.aol.com/cars-Lincoln-MKX/overview">Lincoln MKX</a>, and <a href="http://autos.aol.com/cars-Lexus-RX+350/overview">Lexus RX350</a>, and is expected to go on in 2009 as a 2010 model with the 3.6L engine found in the CTS and STS.<br /></p>

While our only indication of what the new NSX may look like up to this point has been the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/acura-advanced-sports-car-concept/">Acura Advanced Sports Car Concept</a>, we do know work is well under way on the car's mechanicals. Thus, we submit these spy photos as Exhibit A, evidence that Acura is currently testing its new NSX. They were taken at the Nurburgring in Germany and show a heavily modified Honda S2000 with quad tailpipes located in the middle of the rear bumper and what appears to be a heavy-duty double wishbone suspension below. The test car also features big wheels and a hardtop of sorts. The S2000 body on this NSX mule suggests that Acura is still far from finalizing a design for the car, but that doesn't appear to have stopped engineers from working on the brand's follow up to the world renowned "everyday supercar" that was the original NSX. <br /><br />[Source: Straighline Blog]<br /><br /><strong>Related posts:</strong><br /><span style="float: left;"><a target="_blank" href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/04/24/further-developments-on-the-nsx-powertrain/"><strong>Further developments on the NSX powertrain</strong></a></span><br /><span style="float: left;"><a target="_blank" href="http://www.autoblog.com/2005/07/12/acura-kills-nsx-and-announces-heir/"><strong>Acura kills NSX and announces heir</strong></a></span><br /><span style="float: left;"><a target="_blank" href="http://www.autoblog.com/2005/08/17/new-nsx-to-get-v10-awd/"><strong>New NSX to get V10 + AWD</strong></a></span><br /><span style="float: left;"><a target="_blank" href="http://www.autoblog.com/2005/07/21/acura-confirms-v10-for-nsx-replacement/"><strong>Acura confirms V10 for NSX replacement</strong></a></span><br /><span style="float: left;"><a target="_blank" href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/04/25/one-powerful-nsx-acura-supercar-to-have-500hp-at-23-5-mpg/"><strong>One powerful NSX: Acura supercar to have 500HP at 23.5 MP</strong></a></span><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/acura-advanced-sports-car-concept/low/">Acura Advanced Sports Car Concept</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/acura-advanced-sports-car-concept/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/01/07-advanced-sports-car-concept_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/acura-advanced-sports-car-concept/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/01/03-advanced-sports-car-concept_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/acura-advanced-sports-car-concept/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/01/01-advanced-sports-car-concept_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/acura-advanced-sports-car-concept/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/01/13-advanced-sports-car-concept_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/acura-advanced-sports-car-concept/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/01/14-advanced-sports-car-concept_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/05/21/spy-shots-2009-10-acura-nsx/">Spy Shots: 2009/10 Acura NSX</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Mon, 21 May 2007 17:04:00 EST. The black tape covering the sides of the headlamps indicates that some work may have been done in the lighting department, while out back, the tail lights are given three gill-like bumps on each side to add a little bling to the butt.<br /><br />BMW took some chances with the original design of the 6-Series, but the refresh will likely go un-noticed to all but the most highly-trained eye. If you thought the current 6-Series was a unattractive, we think you'd be better off if you just turned away; nothing to see here.<br /><br />[Source: The Car Connection]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/03/13/spy-shots-bmw-6-series/">Spy Shots: BMW 6-Series</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Tue, 13 Mar 2007 07:04:00 EST. Expected to debut in 2009, the new ragtop MINI appears to have been planned from the get go when the new model was being developed. It looks a little tidier and the slightly larger package promises some more cargo space with the top down. KGP caught a couple of shots of this close-to-production looking prototype. Click through the read link to see the full size pic and a front shot as well. <br /><br />Although it will probably be mistaken for the previous gen by 99% of the people, every body panel on the new MINI is different. MINI has promised they have retained the great handling of the old version, with the added bonus of better ride quality. The new engines are1.6-liter lumps with BMW's Valvetronic variable valve timing, which develop 120 hp and 103 ft-lbs of torque without a turbo and a slightly more robust 175 hp and 177 ft-lbs. of torque in S form. <br /><br />And let's not forget, the S is now turbocharged rather than supercharged like in the outgoing model. The new motors will deliver more power, better mileage and cleaner emissions. Both models will be available with a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. Check out our previous MINI posts for more details about the changes in the new version. <br /><br /><strong>Related Posts:</strong><br />
