Bad news V8 fans. The Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon won't be available with the 5.3-liter V8 that powers the new HUMMER H3 Alpha. It's official: GMC Canyon V8 option confirmed 2 years ago on Autoblog

Well, the rumor came true. Mike Levine at Pickuptruck.com noticed that at the website for the '08 GMC Canyon, a V8 engine is listed as an option coming in early 2008.
