Ferrari flexes its branding muscle with Ferrari Unica Home Gym

If you already own a Ferrari laptop, Ferrari watch, Ferrari shoes, Ferrari pen, Ferrari speakers and Ferrari surfboard, then maybe you'll be in the demographic for this new Ferrari Unica Home Gym. The Italian-bodied exercise equipment features 25 possible exercises (double-clutching is not one of them), a key card that stores a users' data, and a built-in Wellness Mate computer that incorporates the aforementioned data and designs a personalized training plan. The price for this calorie burning machine from Maranello is actually quite reasonable for a Ferrari: €12,500 or about $17,250 USD. Here's the link to the Ferrari Store description and order form.

Ferrari Store - Los Angeles opens in the Beverly Center

It's about time. That seemed to be the consensus of the invited guests at the grand opening of the Ferrari Store - Los Angeles. Coinciding with the marque's 60th Anniversary world rally, the store held its grand opening celebration on Sunday at the Beverly Center. Besides being entertained by the hosts and hostesses, VIP guests were also treated to a display of Ferraris that included the 1961 Paris Motor Show 275 GTS 2+1, a 275 GTB, and a Formula 1 car among others.

The L.A. location joins the chain that includes a few Italian locations, as well as several others around the world. Late last year Ferrari opened a new store in Qatar, marking their entry into the Middle East. The boutique shops sells Ferrari accessories, clothing, and other merchandise. Similar to the other American store at The Wynn in Las Vegas, the Beverly Center store has clothes, shoes, toys, keychains and other accessories, all bearing the Ferrari logo or Ferrari images.

The Ferrari Store - Los Angeles is located on the 6th floor of the Beverly Center at 8500 Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles. Tel. 310-657-9800. Well worth a stop if you happen to be in L.A. and happen to love or even like Enzo's works.

Ferrari takes on Lamborghini in mobile phone battle

If Lamborghini can have its own mobile phone, we suppose it's only fair that Ferrari get one too. Introducing Motorola's MotoRAZR Maxx V6 Ferrari Challenge. With a V6, wouldn't that make it a Dino? No matter, because it does have 'the iconic prancing horse shield on the front and "Ferrari" in the company's easily recognizable font on the back. The phone turns on with the sound of a Ferrari Formula 1 engine revving.

It's available for pre-order from the Ferrari Store online for a mere $524 -- about the same price as the upcoming iPhone, but oh so much more, um, Italian. And it's about $1,200 cheaper than that Lamborghini phone which doesn't come with a red Ferrari leather case.

Read the Motorola press release with the phone's full specs and more photos after the jump.

Ferrari boutique opens in Qatar

A new Ferrari Store has opened in Qatar. The boutique shop sells Ferrari accessories at the Alfardan Automotive Center. It's the first store of its kind in the Middle East, which has continued to grow as a leading market for Maranello's finest. Similar to the store at The Wynn in Las Vegas, the Qatar store has clothes, shoes, toys, keychains and other accessories, all bearing the Ferrari logo.

Alfardan Automotive President Omar Alfardan told reporters that the store made sense as Ferrari is a huge draw anywhere in the world. He also said he expects to open more of these shops in Qatar in the future, including one in the Alfardan Towers and another in the multi-billion-dollar, man-made island off the Doha coast, the Pearl-Qatar.

Ferrari currently has several stores in Italy as well as shops in Hangzhou and Shanghai, as well as the one in Vegas.
