Monterey 2009: Auto Union is a no-sale at Bonhams

The Bonhams Auction at the Quail in Monterey was expected to bring some of the biggest auction numbers of the week. It did end up bringing some large figures, but mainly in the number of unsold headlining cars. We were eagerly anticipating the bidding on the Auto Union Type D, the ex-Evel Knievel Ferrari Daytona Spider, The ZL-1 Camaro, and the 1937 Bugatti Type 57S Coupé among others. None sold.
