Frankfurt 2009: 2010 BMW X1 shows up
While us Americans will probably never get the three- and/or five-door 1 Series, we will be getting the new BMW X1. Here's your pudding proof. For some this is a maddening reality. For others it's like music you dislike. Still, we were a bit surprised by how much we liked the looks of the X1, especially in brown. Spy Shots: BMW X1 spotted on location in Germany 6 months ago on Autoblog
The BMW X1 has been spied doing doing close-ups for some sort of video shoot in Germany. While the little guy could even be called cute in this photo, and the darker color does it tremendous favors, it's still a strangely proportioned little beast – like one of those cuddly-yet-awkward babies ...

If the overly contrived teaser video wasn't enough for you, there's now another image of the BMW X1 for those who care.
