Editor Chris Paukert has apparently been bitten by the podcasting bug, and he once again joins Shunk and Roth for Episode #156 of the Autoblog Podcast. We dive right in to reminiscence about the recently finished <a href="http:// http://www.autoblog.com/2009/12/04/2009-la-auto-show-wrap-up/">Los Angeles Auto Show</a>. Moving on from there, we talk about Audi's <a href="http:// http://www.autoblog.com/2009/12/07/audi-a7-confirmed-for-north-america-and-s8-model-in-the-works-b/">new A7 Sportback</a> and its extreme gorgeousness, as well as the new A8 and all its massive awesomeness. Speaking of awesomeness, Shunk thinks that the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/12/06/aston-martin-rapide-to-cost-199-950-in-the-us/">$199,950 Aston Martin Rapide</a> is one very attractive four-place supercar. Going to the other end of the spectrum, rumors about <a href="http:// http://www.autoblog.com/2009/12/05/report-vw-confirms-jetta-name-for-small-sedan-upcoming-coupe-c/">Volkswagen's upcoming Jetta replacement</a> gets some head scratches from us before we moved on to prognosticating about a <a href="http:// http://www.autoblog.com/2009/12/07/report-chrysler-considering-unibody-dakota-replacement/">unibody Dodge Dakota replacement</a>. We wrap up a chewy hour-and-forty-five minutes by addressing some of your questions and calling it a night.<br />

With the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/category/la-auto-show/">LA Auto Show</a> near at hand, Chris, Dan, and Editor Extraordinaire Paukert sat down and talked over some of the latest for Episode #155 of the Autoblog Podcast. First up is the surprisingly thorough <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/30/2011-ford-mustang-v6-la-2009-preview/">re-rework of the Mustang</a>, before we move on to talk about the early release of U.S.-spec <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/30/2011-ford-fiesta-gets-another-early-reveal/">Ford Fiesta pictures</a>. Gazing at photos brings us to the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/29/la-preview-2011-chevy-cruze-finally-unveiled-in-u-s-market-tri/ ">Chevrolet Cruze</a>, which has also been lensed in North American garb. The Chinese-market <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/30/new-buick-excelle-debuts-in-china-sedan-coming-to-america-soon/">Buick Excelle</a> is rumored as a possibility for our market, and we scratch our heads about that for a while. <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/30/report-toyota-dealers-caught-out-by-pedal-entrapment-recall/">Toyota's handling of its gas pedal recall</a> and <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/30/nissan-to-offer-low-price-nav-system-for-high-volume-products/">Nissan's low-priced and well-integrated navigation unit</a> wraps it up before we move on to some of your questions. Right before signing off, we jump back to talk briefly about the newly unveiled Audi A8 and Saab's sad fortunes. At one hour, 50 minutes, it's an epic. We blame Paukert. <br />
<br />

It's Episode #150 of the Autoblog Podcast, and we raided the crypt to give you your buck-and-a-half's worth. Former podcast staples John Neff and Chris Paukert have been unearthed and join Chris Shunk, Sam Abuelsamid, and Dan Roth for this milestone occasion. <br />
<br />
A review of the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/category/tokyo-motor-show/">Tokyo Motor Show</a> starts things off, and then we drill down to talk more specifically about both ends of Toyota's sports spectrum: the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/10/26/2011-lexus-lfa-first-drive/">Lexus LFA</a> and the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/10/26/toyota-celica-or-scion-tc-toyota-reportedly-deliberates-over-pr/">Toyota FT-86</a> concepts. Other Tokyo standouts like the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/10/25/honda-design-boss-discusses-changes-to-production-cr-z/">Honda CR-Z</a> and <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/10/21/subaru-hybrid-tourer-concept-tokyo-2009-fuji-heavy/">Subaru Hybrid Tourer concept</a> weave into the conversation before we turn to the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/10/26/report-honda-goes-back-to-drawing-board-for-smaller-lighter-ne/">next-generation Honda Civic,</a> rumored to be lighter and smaller. From there, things devolve entirely before this week's big crew wraps it up. <br />
<br />
We'll hit your questions again next time around, keep them rolling in to <strong>Podcast at Autoblog dot com</strong>. We appreciate you filling our <a href="http://www.podtrac.com/audience/start-survey.aspx?pubid=JRJrA-gkKy4$&amp;amp;ver=standard">survey</a> with data, and remember, if you get lonely, there's always <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/category/podcasts/">Joystiq</a> and <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/podcasts/">Engadget</a>. Thanks for listening! You can also leave us a message at our new Google Voice number<strong> 734-288-8POD (734-288-8763)</strong>. Who knows... we might even play it on the podcast!<br />

Before our faithful listenership starts getting worried, we put the Podcast on a break this week. We're doing our show-coverage thing in <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/category/tokyo-motor-show/">Tokyo</a> and we're also staring down episode #150 of the 'cast. Rather than grind out something mediocre, we've elected to take a little extra time and mark the halfway point to our second hundredth episode with a good show. In the meantime, we hope our friends at <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/category/podcasts/">Joystiq</a> and <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/podcasts/">Engadget</a> can help fill the void. We'll be back soon, or you can drop us a note at<span style="font-weight: bold;"> <strong>Podcast at Autoblog dot com.</strong></span> Or leave us a message at our new google voice number<strong> 734-288-8POD (734-288-8763)</strong>.<br />

Episode #147 of the Autoblog Podcast is ready for your consumption. Chris calls in to Sam and Dan, and the trio bites into a few timely topics. <a href="http:// http://www.autoblog.com/2009/09/28/report-bmw-m5-dropping-v10-for-turbo-v8/">BMW's move to put its turbo 4.4 liter V8 into the M5</a> is our first subject of conversation, before moving on to more powertrain news with the rumors that <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/09/27/report-2011-hyundai-sonata-wont-offer-a-v6/">the 2011 Hyundai Sonata will be a four-cylinder-only affair</a>. <a href="http:// http://www.autoblog.com/2009/09/25/audi-a3-1-6-tdi-shines-during-opening-stages-of-efficiency-chall/">Audi's fuel mileage achievement with its A3 TDI</a> is up next, before we go all power crazy and touch on <a href="http:// http://www.autoblog.com/2009/09/25/new-images-of-rhys-millens-mid-engine-v8-rm460-genesis-coupe/">Rhys Millen's mid-engined Genesis Coupe</a>. Wrapping it up, we head to truckville, thinking about what it would mean for <a href="http:// http://www.autoblog.com/2009/09/24/report-chrysler-to-make-ram-its-own-brand/">Chrysler to make Ram its own nameplate</a>, ponder the <a href="http:// http://www.autoblog.com/2009/09/24/2010-toyota-4runner-debuts-with-four-cylinder-trail-grade-model/">new Toyota 4Runner</a>, and finally chat about the new Ford SuperDuty before moving on to some of your excellent questions. <br />

As sure as the August heat is going to make that ice cream cone melt all over your hand, the Autoblog podcast keeps notching up new episodes. Chris, Sam, and Dan blocked out some time to sit in front of the microphones and chat about a few things, and thus we present to you Episode #139 of the Autoblog Podcast. Surprisingly positive sales figures start us off, and we stay on that category for a little while, mulling the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/08/03/report-ford-focus-is-top-selling-cash-for-clunkers-car-nearly/">Ford Focus's top status as a C4C purchase</a>, and <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/08/03/is-this-a-trend-camaro-beats-mustang-in-sales-for-second-straig/">Camaro beating Mustang again</a> in sales figures. Moving on to the truly sublime, we talk about the exotics at the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/08/03/meadow-brook-concours-2009-the-supercars/">MeadowBrook Concours</a> before hitting on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/08/03/report-fiats-fuel-saving-multi-air-tech-could-come-to-chrysler/">Fiat's MultiAir technology port</a> and then wrapping with some of your questions. Thanks for all the response so far to <a href="http://www.podtrac.com/audience/start-survey.aspx?pubid=JRJrA-gkKy4$&amp;ver=standard">our survey</a>, and iTunes users can submit reviews of our work at the Autoblog Podcast iTunes page, too. <br />Just in time for the July 4th holiday roadtrip, it's Episode #134 of the Autoblog Podcast! Chris Paukert has returned to become Executive Editor of Autoblog after having left us back in 2006 to join <a href="http://www.nextautos.com/Winding-Road-Magazine">Winding Road</a>. Chris joins me (Editor-in-Chief) and Damon Lavrinc (Road Test Editor) as the third member of our full-time staff and 15th member of the larger team of dedicated bloggers that work 24/7 to share our passion of autos with you.<br /><br />While he has spent nearly his entire career in web publishing, Chris returns to Autoblog with experience gleaned from working with some of the print world's greatest automotive editors, including industry giants like William Jeanes (Car and Driver), Jim McCraw (Hot Rod, Motor Trend) and Brock Yates (Car and Driver). After being mentored by Automobile Magazine founder David E. Davis Jr., (dubbed "The Dean of Automotive Journalists" by Time Magazine), he succeeded him as Editor-In-Chief of <a href="http://www.nextautos.com/Winding-Road-Magazine">Winding Road</a>.<br /><br />Prior to becoming a full-time automotive journalist, Chris also cut his teeth in other areas of the media, including stints in television news production (NBC affiliate WILX-TV 10) and as the tour publicist for the audiophile record label Telarc International.<br /><br /><strong>UPDATE: </strong>Chris Paukert and I are taping an episode of Autoline Detroit with John McElroy today and immediately following at 1PM EST we'll be doing a special live streaming webcast during which you can contribute questions and comments to our conversation. Keep an eye out after lunch for the streaming player we'll publish on the main page at 1PM EST.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/12/15/chris-paukert-joins-the-autoblog-team/">Chris Paukert joins the Autoblog team!</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Mon, 15 Dec 2008 09:30:00 EST. What we're giving away today is technically courtesy of Sony Computer Entertainment America, but in reality this unopened copy of GT5 Prologue and Dualshock 3 controller are really my birthday presents that arrived a bit too late, so happy birthday (and Father's Day) to you instead. They are today's prizes for our Father's Day Sweepstakes, Day 4, and one lucky winner will get both. Unfortunately a Sony Playstation 3 is not part of the prize package, but what better reason is there for getting one than winning this sweepstakes?<br /><br />All you need to do to enter is...<br />

Condor was the Ford internal code name for the SVT version of the yet to be publicly shown S197 Mustang. At that time, most everyone outside of Ford was still anticipating that this car would be the new Mustang Cobra. Somewhere along the line to launch, Ford had settled its long standing conflict with Carroll Shelby and Condor ended up wearing one of the other classic Mustang badges from the '60s. The Shelby GT500 eventually started rolling off the Flat Rock, MI assembly line in both coupe and convertible forms for the 2007 model year. <br id="s5vh0" /> <br id="s5vh1" />Ford recently dropped off a Grey 2008 GT500 coupe at the Autoblog Garage for a few days, and we just had to share. By coincidence, the GT500 arrived about three weeks after the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/04/07/in-the-autoblog-garage-2008-ford-mustang-bullitt/">Mustang Bullitt</a> we reviewed. While the Bullitt was about as understated as a modern Mustang can get, the GT500 is anything but. The Shelby is slathered in stripes, badges, spoilers and driving lights. The GT500 also has a very different powertrain from the Bullitt. Find out how the GT500 compares to the stealth 'Stang after the jump.<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/in-the-autoblog-garage-2008-shelby-gt500-mustang/low/">In the Autoblog Garage: 2008 Shelby GT500 Mustang</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/in-the-autoblog-garage-2008-shelby-gt500-mustang/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/05/00_gt500garage_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/in-the-autoblog-garage-2008-shelby-gt500-mustang/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/05/01_gt500garage_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/in-the-autoblog-garage-2008-shelby-gt500-mustang/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/05/02_gt500garage_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/in-the-autoblog-garage-2008-shelby-gt500-mustang/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/05/03_gt500garage_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/in-the-autoblog-garage-2008-shelby-gt500-mustang/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/05/04_gt500garage_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br /><strong>Photos Copyright (C)2008 Sam Abuelsamid / Weblogs, Inc.</strong><p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/05/14/in-the-autoblog-garage-2008-ford-shelby-gt500-mustang/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>In the Autoblog Garage: 2008 Ford Shelby GT500 Mustang</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/05/14/in-the-autoblog-garage-2008-ford-shelby-gt500-mustang/">In the Autoblog Garage: 2008 Ford Shelby GT500 Mustang</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Wed, 14 May 2008 11:57:00 EST. Thanks for your 57 minutes this week! <br /><br /><a href="http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s="><strong>SUBSCRIBE</strong></a> to the Autoblog Podcast in iTunes<strong><br /><a href="http://podcasts.autoblog.com/rss.xml"><strong>ADD</strong></a> </strong>the Autoblog Podcast feed to your RSS aggregator<br /><a href="http://stadium.weblogsinc.com/autoblog/podcasts/auto20080409_0092.mp3"><strong>DOWNLOAD</strong></a> the show now<br /><br /><br /><object width="290" height="24" type=""application/x-shockwave-flash" data="http://www.weblogsinc.com/media/audio_player.swf"> <param value="http://www.weblogsinc.com/media/audio_player.swf" name="movie" /> <param value="soundFile=http://stadium.weblogsinc.com/autoblog/podcasts/auto20080409_0092.mp3" name="FlashVars" /> <param value="high" name="quality" /> <param value="false" name="menu" /> <param value="transparent" name="wmode" /></object><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/04/10/autoblog-podcast-92/">Autoblog Podcast #92</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Thu, 10 Apr 2008 12:34:00 EST. Alex took a sick day, so John and Damon hold the fort. We've been in New York, and that's the main focus of the podcast, although we have had more than just John's Alero in the Autoblog Garage. Ford's sale of Jaguar and Land Rover comes up, as does some of the news that's ensued between the end of the New York show and now. <br /><br />We've got a new podcast-specific email: <strong>podcast at autoblog dawt com</strong>, so please send in your questions about the show, about us, or about anything car-related you want to know, and we'll make up the best answers we can. Of course we run over what's been in the garage lately - you'll know what reviews to anticipate. Our big item this week is recapping what we saw in Geneva and what might actually wind up in the US. Talk of Geneva moves us to anticipatory chatter about New York, mere days away. Alex <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/02/17/knight-rider-the-liveblog/">liveblogged</a> it so that we didn't have to watch. Sure it was crap, but was it really that bad? The original was a clunker, too, remember. There's car stuff going on, too, and we move on to covering what's in our respective <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/category/garage/">Autoblog Garages</a>. Keep an eye out for some new reviews, and John has a podcast-exclusive announcement, too. <br /><br />We spin off into a small car smackdown, postulate on who should buy Jaguar if <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/02/19/tata-hearts-land-rover-jag-not-so-much/">Tata flips them</a>, and boomerang back to our MINI vs. Aveo sales number deathmatch. In this week's installment of "Fords We Don't Get," there's a new <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/02/17/the-new-fpv-gt-shows-up-in-an-alice-cooper-costume/">Austrailian Falcon</a> that is available in full-on sinister. It's badass in FPV trim, not available here, and <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/02/19/report-alan-mulally-wants-an-fg-falcon/"><strike>Alan Mullaly wants one</strike>,</a> too. One Ford we are getting is the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/02/14/geneva-2008-it-may-have-verve-but-you/">Fiesta</a> (Verve) and that's something to actually be excited about. That's about it, thanks to <a href="http://www.podfinder.com/">Adam Curry</a> for the plug, it's 52 minutes of fun this week. <br /><br /><a href="http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s="><strong>SUBSCRIBE</strong></a> to the Autoblog Podcast in iTunes<strong><br /><a href="http://podcasts.autoblog.com/rss.xml"><strong>ADD</strong></a> </strong>the Autoblog Podcast feed to your RSS aggregator<br /><a href="http://stadium.weblogsinc.com/autoblog/podcasts/auto20080220_0088.mp3"><strong>DOWNLOAD</strong></a> to the show now<br /><strong><br /><object width="290" height="24" type=""application/x-shockwave-flash" data="http://www.weblogsinc.com/media/audio_player.swf"> <param value="http://www.weblogsinc.com/media/audio_player.swf" name="movie" /> <param value="soundFile=http://stadium.weblogsinc.com/autoblog/podcasts/auto20080220_0088.mp3" name="FlashVars" /> <param value="high" name="quality" /> <param value="false" name="menu" /> <param value="transparent" name="wmode" /></object></strong><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/02/20/autoblog-podcast-88/">Autoblog Podcast #88</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Wed, 20 Feb 2008 17:31:00 EST. The <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/02/06/chicago-2008-dodge-challenger-srt8-live-reveal/">Challenger</a> was the biggest deal, followed by the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/02/06/chicago-2008-gmc-denali-xt-concept-is-ute-ifu/">Denali XT</a>, and then a bunch of inconsequential things. We did find ourselves talking about the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/02/06/chicago-2008-suzuki-equator-ready-to-tackle-new-frontiers/">Suzuki Equator</a> and the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/02/06/chicago-2008-ford-transit-connect-arrives-in-the-state/">Ford Transit Connect</a>, too. We give you our first up close and personal impressions of the Challenger SRT-8 in this podcast. We also saw the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/02/06/chicago-2008-volkswagen-unveils-the-newish-routan-minivan/">VW Routan</a>, which certainly doesn't conjure warm, fuzzy memories of Type IIs gone by. Chevy's <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/02/06/chicago-2008-chevy-unveils-2009-traverse-w-video/">Traverse</a> calls into question the usefulness of Saturn's Outlook in the product lineup. Speaking of GM badge-engineering, we got word this week that Pontiac will not be getting a <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/02/12/gm-to-dealers-youre-not-getting-a-pontiac-trans-am/">Trans Am</a> companion to the Camaro, dang. Another disappointment is the rumor that Cerberus is going to let the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/02/08/has-cerberus-killed-the-viper/">Viper run down</a> without rewinding the clock for a third generation. We wrap up by touching on the possibility that an <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/02/11/mahindra-appalachian-diesel-pickup-arrives-in-us-next-year-dies/">Indian pickup</a> could be the first diesel hybrid in the US, even though it's not even being imported yet, and we're sure that when it gets here, it'll generate even more hate than the new <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/02/06/chicago-2008-acura-reveals-2009-rl-more-style-more-power-mor/">Acura RL</a>. 42 minutes, that's it. Sorry it's a little late this week, it's all Alex's fault, I swear. <br /><br /><a href="http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s="><strong>SUBSCRIBE</strong></a> to the Autoblog Podcast in iTunes<br /><a href="http://stadium.weblogsinc.com/autoblog/podcasts/auto20080215_0087.mp3"><strong>LISTEN</strong></a> to the show now<br /><a href="http://podcasts.autoblog.com/rss.xml"><strong>ADD</strong></a> the Autoblog Podcast feed to your RSS aggregator<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/02/16/autoblog-podcast-87/">Autoblog Podcast #87</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Sat, 16 Feb 2008 13:31:00 EST. We spend a good bit of time talking about the excitement that's filled the Autoblog garage lately. Damon used a handily available Audi R8 as a chase car when we went to drive the Tesla Roadster, and Alex has been sampling the Subaru Tribeca and STI, as well as a rogue Volvo S80. John has been having a blissful month rocking the 1999 Oldsmobile Alero Coupe, too. <br /><br />There's lots of good car talk, and we take a detour into cupholder minutiae before getting to actual news. A few embargoes fell in front of the upcoming <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/category/chicago-auto-show/">Chicago Auto Show</a>. Car and Driver's blatant <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/01/25/first-official-challenger-srt8-photos-leak-onto-the-web/">cover poll</a> opened the door for <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/search/?q=challenger&amp;sort=date">Challenger</a> images. Subterfuge aside, the Challenger's a knockout, despite its interior that's granted refugee status to the Sebring's trappings. Trucks will make some news at the Chicago show, and Truck Trend showed us the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/01/25/hummer-h3t-images-released-early-in-magazine/">Hummer H3T</a> and <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/01/29/chicago-08-preview-official-rendering-of-suzuki-equator-releas/">Suzuki Equator,</a> and compact pickups are where we leave it. Until next time, thanks for listening!<br /><br /><a href="http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s="><strong>SUBSCRIBE</strong></a> to the Autoblog Podcast in iTunes<br /><a href="http://stadium.weblogsinc.com/autoblog/podcasts/auto20080130_0086.mp3"><strong>LISTEN</strong></a> to the show now<br /><a href="http://podcasts.autoblog.com/rss.xml"><strong>ADD</strong></a> the Autoblog Podcast feed to your RSS aggregator<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/01/31/autoblog-podcast-86/">Autoblog Podcast #86</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Thu, 31 Jan 2008 15:03:00 EST. Kicking things off, we review what's been in John, Damon, and Alex's parking spots in the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/category/garage/">Autoblog Garage</a>. After a Mazda CX7/CX9-Honda Fit-Audi S5-lovefest, we're on to real happenings. Things are ratcheting up as we head into the North American International Auto Show next week, and we'll have coverage from the show starting this weekend. Ahead of the actual show in Detroit, we've been watching as embargoes fall. GM has had all of its secrets revealed with the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/01/08/detroit-2008-2009-cadillac-cts-v-revealed-with-550-hp/">2009 Cadillac CTS-V</a>, <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/01/08/detroit-2008-hummer-hx-concept/">Hummer HX</a>, and <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/01/08/officially-official-saab-9-4x-biopower-concept-for-real-this-ti/">Saab 9-4X</a> hitting the internets prior to their official unveilings. Also uncovered, the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/01/08/pics-aplenty-2009-hyundai-genesis-sedan/">Hyundai Genesis</a>, which clearly has the Germans in its sights, not to mention Lexus and Infiniti. We're not sure if we're excited or skeptical, but it's hard to argue with the value that the car will likely offer. And Hyundai's not fooling around, so we'll be adding our names to the list when they finally become available for sampling. Thanks for your 51 minutes, let's do this again soon, okay? <br /><br /><a href="http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s="><strong>SUBSCRIBE</strong></a> to the Autoblog Podcast in iTunes<br /><a href="http://stadium.weblogsinc.com/autoblog/podcasts/auto20080109_0084.mp3"><strong>LISTEN</strong></a> to the show now<br /><a href="http://podcasts.autoblog.com/rss.xml"><strong>ADD</strong></a> the Autoblog Podcast feed to your RSS aggregator<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/01/10/autoblog-podcast-84/">Autoblog Podcast #84</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Thu, 10 Jan 2008 10:44:00 EST. The biggest news this week is the official unveiling of the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/12/19/detroit-2008-the-king-is-back-atop-the-hill-2009-corvette-zr1/">Corvette ZR-1/Blue Devil</a>. Powered by the new <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/12/19/detroit-2008-the-heart-of-the-king-the-ls9-is-born/">LS9</a> supercharged small-block, the car's performance is sure to be astounding. After laying eyes on the un-camoflaged car, hood porthole and all, we have to ask: is it overwrought? From ridiculous speed to ludicrous wordsmithing, we talk about the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/12/18/detroit-08-preview-nissan-forum-concep/">Nissan FORUM</a> concept mainly for the chance to bash the hilariously composed press release. Maybe it was written in Japanese and they just passed it through translation software before releasing the announcement. <br /><br />While we're being scornful, we turn our gaze to the new Knight Rider. We've been keepig an eye on all the news, and let's just say we expect the show to fail. The new <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/12/12/nbc-officially-announces-knight-rider-new-k-i-t-t-unveiled/">Mustang-based KITT</a>, even in <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/the-new-kitt-official-photos/530087/">Attack</a> guise, is no <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pceA7qCHYGw">Super Pursuit Mode</a> original KITT. We wrap up with some discussion of <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/12/17/more-turbocharged-motors-coming-from-hyundai/">Hyundai's </a>move toward a turbocharged 2.0-liter direct-inject engine (GEMA?) and take that off into a discussion about the expanded selection of good, inexpensive, and powerful coupes. The finale is some speculation about the rendering of a new <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/12/17/the-new-skinny-on-the-mclaren-p11-supercar/">McLaren</a> supercar, as well as analyzing the absurdly high price of the BMW 1-series. 43 minutes will do it, see you next week! <br /><br /><a href="http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s=http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73331469&amp;s="><strong>SUBSCRIBE</strong></a> to the Autoblog Podcast in iTunes<br /><a href="http://stadium.weblogsinc.com/autoblog/podcasts/auto20071220_0083.mp3"><strong>LISTEN</strong></a> to the show now<br /><a href="http://podcasts.autoblog.com/rss.xml"><strong>ADD</strong></a> the Autoblog Podcast feed to your RSS aggregator<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/12/20/autoblog-podcast-83/">Autoblog Podcast #83</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Thu, 20 Dec 2007 16:22:00 EST.
