Inside Line is at it again, this time with a list of the 100 worst cars ever made. While we were pretty pleased with the website's choices for its 100 best earlier this year, this one is somewhat less satisfying, which is to be expected.

Porsche is not a high volume automaker, and it probably never will be. However, Porsche management feels it can do better than its somewhat disappointing 75,200 sales it last year (ending July 2009), but the increase could be larger than most would reasonably expect. Porsche CEO Michael Macht told Reuters he believes Porsche could sell 150,000 vehicles per year, but the new chief executive doesn't expect sales to double on the backs of the German luxury sports car maker's current lineup.

Doug Burris of St. Louis has built what simply has to be the hottest Porsche 914 around. Literally. The blue 1975 model won't ever run on its own power again, but its remaining days will ensure that every time it's fired up (again, literally), it'll provide sustenance to all who gather around it.

Well, unfortunately we quickly ran out of useable Camaro submissions to continue our theme this week, so we were forced to dig into the Autoblog Flickr pool and find something else suitable to show off today. We think we did a good job with this LS6-powered Porsche 914. Taking a tiny car and stuffing a modern-day small-block V8 producing 500+ horsepower into its engine bay is a recipe for mechanical mayhem.
