There are plenty of BMW M3 coupes driving around the web, but the newly announced sedan is a much rarer bird, indeed. The four-door M3 is mechanically the same as its coupe sibling, with its 4.0L V8 engine and six speed manual transmission. And from the A-pillar forward, the two Ms are nearly identical. The fourth iteration of the BMW M3 might be the most anticipated new offering the Bavarian Motor Werks has launched in years, equipped with a V8 pumping out 420hp and 295 lb-ft torque. To keep the M3 looking as menacing as possible, an updated front fascia, the expected quad-exhaust pipes, and 19" rims are all fitted to Bimmer's latest road rocket.
Over the past three or four days, there have been a lot of rumors running through the tubes of the interwebs about BMW's surprise unveiling of a concept version of the M3 uber-coupe during next week's Geneva motor show.
