Chalk up an impressive win and another record for the all-electric Toyota Motorsport GmbH EV P001. With Fumio Nutahara behind the wheel, the team raced to the clouds at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in an impressive 10 minutes, 15.380 seconds. During the first practice day of the 2012 Pikes Peak Hill Climb we checked out Monster Tajima's new electric-powered E-runner and watched the Vintage and Exhibition divisions roar up the mountain. Our second day, however, was reserved for the fastest of the groups – Unlimited, Time Attack and Open Wheel – which were running in the bottom portion of the course that determines qualifying times.

The 90th running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb has been officially postponed after race officials met with the U.S. Forest Service yesterday afternoon.
