Review: 2010 Suzuki Kizashi GTS is up for the Challenge
The 2010 Kizashi will change the way you look at Suzuki. To put it bluntly, the Kizashi is the strongest evidence yet that Suzuki's automotive division is no longer operating on autopilot in the States. And what's more, the brand is showing serious confidence. Consider the vehicles against which the automaker wants you to cross shop its Kizashi: the Acura TSX and Audi A4. Suzuki has launched a promotion called the Kizashi Test Drive Challenge that will pay $100 to anyone who test drives a Kizashi and still decides to buy the more expensive TSX or A4. After spending some quality time ... Read More

0New York 2011: Suzuki makes a Kizashi Turbo, calls it the Apex concept 1303422060
Suzuki has often flirted with the idea of strapping a turbocharger to the Kizashi, and it's once again putting it at the front of our minds with this, the Apex concept, here at the 2011 New York Auto Show. The Kizashi Apex uses a Garrett turbocharger, air-to-liquid intercooler and a recalibrated ECU to produce an estimated 275 to 300 horsepower, mated ...

New York 2011: Suzuki Kizashi EcoCharge Concept shows us what we wish existed 1303405320
For a car that doesn't exist – yet – the Suzuki Kizashi hybrid certainly rears its head an awful lot. The rumor had been that Suzuki wanted to release the car in 2011, but this plan was apparently canceled last year. Earlier this year, we heard that Suzuki might dip into the Volkswagen parts bin for both diesel and hybrid powertrains (VW owns ...

Suzuki Kizashi EcoCharge and Apex concepts bow in New York [w/video] 1303282800
Suzuki is building a car that we wish more people knew about – the Kizashi. The automaker's mid-size sedan was featured in Suzuki's first-ever Super Bowl ad, a modified version set a Bonneville speed record and the stock car traveled a grueling trail from Tokyo to Los Angeles. Now, Suzuki has prepared two new concept versions, showing us what might ...

Suzuki bringing two Kizashi concepts to New York Auto Show 1302033660
Suzuki is hoping to jumpstart its slow-selling Kizashi with two concepts that will debut at the New York International Auto Show. Suzuki says that the cars will each feature a different "advanced propulsion system," though they aren't dropping many hints as to what that may mean. Whatever it is, Suzuki's New York show display will be advanced ...

Suzuki has announced its plans for this week's 2010 SEMA show. The automaker is bringing three cars out to the Las Vegas convention center: A Kizashi modified by Delta Tech Engineering, an Equator pickup truck customized by ICON Vehicle Dynamics, and the salt flats-blasting, 203-mph Kizashi Bonneville Special. The Suzuki Kizashi Bonneville Special is a ...

New York 2010: 2011 Suzuki Kizashi Sport lands on show floor, V6 and hybrid not happening 1270039140
"You'll turn blue in the face if you're holding your breath waiting for a V6 Kizashi." That was the word from a Suzuki spokesman at last night's insider preview of the 2011 Suzuki Kizashi Sport. It makes sense since Suzuki and General Motors have parted ways and that V6 was expected to come from GM. While we had been hoping a V6 would be part of the ...

SEMA 2009: Custom Suzuki Kizashi models impress, upset 1257433260
We totally dig the new 2010 Suzuki Kizashi. It's a bold step forward for Suzuki and (hopefully) a harbinger of great things to come, which also happens to be what "Kizashi" means. However, the looks are a little, well... not outstanding. Not that it's particularly bad-looking (it ain't), but what if it were a little more... special? SEMA to the ...

Suzuki dresses up a Kizashi for Halloween 1257123420
The boys and girls at Suzuki got into the Halloween spirit and dressed up a new Kizashi to celebrate the day. So what kind of costume would you put on a new sedan that aspires to redefine the company and show that this small carmaker can play with the big boys? Much like a kid who slaps a giant "S" on his chest to transform into a superhero, this ...
