Review: 2008 Subaru Tribeca
"It looks like a puppy," my wife said upon first setting eyes on the 2008 Subaru Tribeca. B9-era Tribecas (the alphanumeric has been dropped for '08) had 3.0 liters of horizontally opposed 6 cylinder to haul 4300 pounds. Power delivery was on the revvy side, so maximum torque ... From the sound of things, Subaru and Toyota are getting cozier than ever. According to Motor Trend, the two companies are currently exploring ways to integrate platforms, and the fruit of that exploration may very well be the next Tribeca. MT is reporting that engineers are currently looking for ways to base the next-generation Subaru crossover on the ...

2010 Subaru Tribeca recalled for defective door latches 1269518280
Subaru has issued a recall for 1,585 2010 Subaru Tribecas for mispositioned door latches. Apparently, during production some door latch cables were installed improperly, so that when the window is rolled down the cable might catch in the door glass regulator, and that will open the door. The recall has begun and Subaru dealers will fix both latches for ...

Fido Approved: America's top ten pet-safe vehicles 1251330060
Most people don't pay it any mind, but car accidents and pets don't mix. Just like with humans, wrapping your car around a telephone pole can kill Fido dead. Or really injure the cute little guy. Karting documentary Racing Dreams takes top honors at Tribeca film festival 1241611260
Gearheads that hear the name Tribeca are as likely to think of a Subaru crossover as the Manhattan neighborhood. But this year the Triangle Below Canal street was infused with a heavy dose of octane as Racing Dreams wowed the crowds at the Tribeca Film Festival. The documentary, directed by Marshall Curry and produced by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, profiles ...

Subaru Impreza Outback will rock the two-tone 1187276280
When we first saw the new Subaru Impreza and Tribeca at the New York Auto Show, we were a little disappointed with the overall styling direction. It seems as though Subaru wanted to play it safe with two of its most important models, but little did we know, the worst was yet to come. After seeing the two-tone 2008 Outback on the VWvortex forums, we think ...

Enter the rumormill: Scion to sell rebadged Tribeca? 1183379340
We like a good auto-related rumor as much as the next obsessive pistonhead, but when Automotive News starts citing Japan's New Model Magazine X, we can't help but be a little humored. The mag across the Pacific supposedly has a spy shot of a "Tribeca-like" vehicle undergoing testing, and beneath the camo is a badge that purportedly looks a lot like a Scion ...

The Autoblog crew is being pulled in a million different directions right now, with plenty of OEM-sponsored events and car show to attend. We fit in some first drives from the folks over at Ford Motor Company, and ...
