Sam Hubinette's Lamborghini LP-560 drifting video {Autoblog}

May 22nd 2008 8:56AM I agree that we need to hear that bull growl, but I have to admit that video was pretty sweet. I like the "Gets Into All Clubs" feature best, I think.

Officially Official: New Ferrari California exposed! {Autoblog}

May 13th 2008 9:34AM My girlfriend said upon first glance that it looks happy, so it seems to have good emotional appeal. People want cars to look like human faces, and the front end of this one looks like it's having fun. I have no doubts it will sell well.

Color-shifting roads warn of ice {Autoblog}

Apr 8th 2008 11:41AM I predict that if these are implemented somewhere traffic accidents related to loss of traction will increase. Mar 29th 2008 10:09AM I agree that 15% drivetrain loss sounds low for an AWD car. I've heard that some AWD systems sap closer to 30% of the power available at the flywheel.

AAA says accidents more costly than congestion {Autoblog}

Mar 7th 2008 10:24AM You write, "...if accidents are costly to anyone, it is the insurance companies."

How do you figure that? Yes, insurance companies make the one-time payouts when people crash their vehicles, but insurance premiums are designed to cover to cost of payouts and the insurance company is investing those premiums in the meantime.

Your story should read, "...if accidents are costly to anyone, it is accident-free drivers who must endure high premiums that result from the inattentiveness and irresponsibility of others."
