Sep 8th 2007 5:53PM Moral is is that don't buy anything made in China that comes anywhere near your mouth.
I am kinda scared of using my Chinese made jackstands now though.

"Indestructible" speed camera coming to the UK {Autoblog}
Sep 1st 2007 1:56PM If, god forbid, they show up where I live, duct tape, spraypaint and epoxy will all be in my arsenal.
However, I wonder at which point the government just gives up? I mean these cameras do cost money. And is there even any evidence to support the fact that they make the roadways any safer?
Brit police nab country's fastest speeder ever {Autoblog}
Aug 25th 2007 9:15PM Sad that a man who is caught speeding would get sentenced to jail. I hope this guy does not have to spend time in jail. Especially since the road was empty.
Fine him sure, but jail is cruel and unusual.

Finally, a reason to wait by the mailbox again: 0-60 debuts {Autoblog}

Aug 24th 2007 12:31PM In California, crossing a single set of double yellows is only legal when entering a driveway or exiting a driveway. It is not legal for passing, making a u-turn, etc.
Anyways, just another example of our nanny-state. Putting safety over freedom.
Mid-engine C7 Corvette still being considered {Autoblog}
Aug 22nd 2007 6:37PM Ignorant statement. A mid-engine layout balances weight distribution or biases it towards the rear for more traction whilst acceleration. The balanced or rear-biased weight distribution also improves handling.
There is a reason that almost all supercars (McLaren F1 excluded) are mid-engined, and it's not just for looks. There is a reason that Le Mans Prototypes are mid engined, same with F1 cars.
If Chevy can build a mid-engined Corvette with 500hp for around $80k they will rock Porsche's world.
